A small deer decided to take on a 1.7-ton rhino named Maruśka at Wrocław zoo in Poland and won. This is because “It's not the size of the deer in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the deer.” And no, it was not the RHINOs in Congress.
According to the zoo, “His partner is in heat, and the bachelor is pumping with testosterone. He needs to release his energy and show who's boss—even if his sparring partner weighs 1.7 tons.” This is why the deer felt like he had no other choice but to headbutt his giant opponent.

Standing about half a meter tall at the shoulder, Reeves’s muntjac is a small, reddish-brown deer native to southeastern China and Taiwan.
While muntjacs and rhinos differ vastly in size, their coexistence in the same habitat should come as no surprise, the zoo staff explained.
“Both in our facility and in the wild, Reeves's muntjacs and rhinos live side-by-side and interact constantly,” Maciej Okupnik, a hoofed animal keeper at the Wrocław Zoo, told the Polish local news outlet Wrocław.pl.
You may be wondering why the Rhino remained so cool, calm, and collected. This is because while it may have appeared the deer won, the Rhino knew exactly who was in charge.
“Rhinos, on the other hand, are generally tolerant of other animals on their turf - after all, they aren't afraid of anyone except tigers.
“For the most part, they just mind their own business,” he added.
So, while the deer was in heat, attempting to prove who was the Alpha, the Rhino was just tolerating the situation, at best. Why people in the country can’t tolerate one another like these two is beyond reason. Nonetheless, a lesson that should be shared with the masses.
