The War Dividend Continues

1/25/2019

Comments

This morning a retired publisher in Fort Lauderdale was awakened by a fully armed assault unit which had been tasked with serving papers for the arraignment of charges for telling a falsehood to a congressional committee.
Despite there being no indicator of violence, the assault team swarmed the retirement home at 0600 and allowed CNN plenty of time to set up cameras to film the event.
Evidently our kind and sensitive peace officers want us to share this message with a scared and timid public.
If it wasn't for the surplus our industrial military war complex, our community peace officers would not have the needed tools to serve court papers.

Paducah to Pawhuska - The Movie

Follow the Appalachian Truckers as they make their maiden voyage from Northern Kentucky to the Colorado Cannabis Industry.
The recent changes in federal laws were of little comfort when hostile states were hungry for asset forfeiture booty.
Route 60 was their chosen road around Illinois and Kansas State Troopers. Little did they know that ignorance could be  an even greater hideous force.
When they entered the county seat of the Osage Indian Reservation, They had just one traffic light in their way.
Watch the comedy of errors of the multiple layers of Oklahoma law enforcement, and the sensational headlines which celebrated  the state's 'biggest drug bust'.
Enter the courts with  the lawyers who must vindicate the payload and the interstate transport of Hemp.
This is the true story of a 2019 event which will not be resolved until the federal govt. is fully funded and operational, so that the DEA testing can settle the interstate fight over who can claim the 18,000 lbs. of rotting hemp.

The Johnson-Nixon Conjecture

1/3/2019

Comments

As the baby boomer generation became young adults, their impact on the culture was profound; even scary, to some older Americans.
The 50s generation was all about conforming to norms. The communist threat and the McCarthy movement terrified anyone who might have different ideas. No one wanted to be branded as a 'commie sympathizer'.
But corporate interests were also terrified that these kids might not become the avid smokers and drinkers that their parents were.
Communities even made ordinances to stymie the behavior of the young generation.  Dress codes, decency laws, even music was subjected to censorship.
But the most strident effort was to prohibit marijuana consumption. Even industrial hemp was banned, lest someone blend other cannabis strains into the crops.

President Johnson helped incoming president Nixon address many issues. We conjecture this unspoken sentiment.

Imagine A Liquor Patient Card...

1/3/2019

Comments

Some say that liquor has medicinal uses.
But others say it's social consumption also
needs to be tolerated,  as an individual liberty.

Would there be a revolt if our legislators
required a doctor's recommendation?
Or a $100 license, to consume it?
