It happened again, Friday. A former US soldier and veteran of the Iraq war, just shot up an airport in Florida. This man was severely ill and had a track record of dilusional behavior. But did the Veterans Administration take care of him? No! Veterans in the US now commit suicide at a rate of 3 per hour. And some others, like this man, become homicidal.
Only government can screw up human safety to this level. You'd think they'd have figured it out by now; either that or they really have other reasons for humiliating good citizens and disrupting transportation commerce.
Some bright minds in Washington almost seem to be saying;
"Hey, let's create a bottleneck where mass murders can happen!
Metal detectors at checkpoints are fabulous ways to get masses of unarmed people to huddle up where we can let terrorists all know that a target-rich environment is waiting for them! "
What a government!!
I can't say that his military service contributed to his illness, but the promise of veterans healthcare was not realized for him and several are now dead.
