In the frenzied protests surrounding the presidential inauguration, some Alt-Left crowds got a dose of reality from gun-toting conservatives. Last night Milo Yiannopoulos, a wildly popular conservative on the college circuit, held a regularly scheduled lecture to a group of conservatives on the Seattle campus of the University of Washington. Leftists were throwing bricks, blocking access and even beating on the outnumbered group of attendees of the Milo event. Even a cameraman on the production team for Milo was beaten repeatedly while his camera was rolling. Police initially failed to break up the violence. When a 50 year old gentleman was being accosted, he finally resorted to his firearm and escaped without becoming a fatality. He left the area along with others. The 34 year old bully was left on the ground with a gunshot to his lower torso. Later the elderly man and a companion turned themselves in to the local law enforcement. After hours of questions and corroborating testimony, along with other evidence and eyewitness testimony; the man was released without charges. |
