President Trump briefed reporters at the White House Thursday morning just hours after a commercial passenger plane collided with a military helicopter while landing in Washington, DC, likely killing all 67 people aboard the two aircraft.  

“A group within the FAA determined that the workforce was too white, then they had concerted efforts to get the administration to change that and to change it immediately,” Trump said. “This was in the Obama administration.”

“Brilliant people have to be in those positions,” Trump said.

“I changed the Obama standards from very mediocre at best to extraordinary,” Trump said at a press conference. “Only the highest aptitude. They have to be the highest intellect and psychological aptitude that were allowed to be qualified for air traffic controllers.”

President Trump made Columbia fold like a cheap suit. After President Petro of Colombia denied a flight of deported Colombian nationals, President Trump released the kraken. He threatened 50% tariffs and a travel ban on all Colombian government officials, allies, and supporters. Well, Columbia immediately agreed to take the deported migrants.

Trump-hating journalist Jim Acosta quit CNN Tuesday morning after the failing network effectively removed him from the schedule.

The outlet reportedly offered him a timeslot at midnight, a swap from his 10am program that many considered a significant demotion.

Israel and Hamas reached a tentative peace agreement Wednesday, potentially clearing the path for the release of dozens of hostages taken captive by the terror network.

Israel and Hamas have agreed to a cease-fire deal that also ensures the release of hostages, Fox News has confirmed.

“A Gaza ceasefire and hostage release deal was reached following the Qatari Prime Minister’s meeting with Hamas negotiators, and separately Israeli negotiators in his office,” a source briefed on the matter told Fox News.

Separately, a senior Hamas official confirmed to Fox News that a deal was reached. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office has yet to confirm the deal.

The conflict, which began with Hamas’ brutal attacks on October 7, 2023, has left over 1,200 Israelis dead, more than 250 taken hostage, and thousands of others killed on both sides.

President-elect Donald Trump, who threatened last week if a deal wasn’t struck before his Inauguration Day that “all hell will break lose in the Middle East,” quickly offered his praise. 

“This EPIC ceasefire agreement could have only happened as a result of our Historic Victory in November, as it signaled to the entire World that my Administration would seek Peace and negotiate deals to ensure the safety of all Americans, and our Allies,” Truymp wrote on TRUTH Social. “I am thrilled American and Israeli hostages will be returning home to be reunited with their families and loved ones.”

The garbage truck became a symbol during Trump’s 2024 campaign when he used it to criticize remarks from President Joe Biden, who allegedly referred to Trump supporters as “garbage.”

The controversy began when a Trump rally speaker called Puerto Rico garbage. However, Biden’s later comment and the truck stunt turned “garbage” into a symbol for Trump supporters to identify with, echoing the way MAGA embraced the “deplorables” tag after Hillary Clinton‘s infamous remark in 2016.

It was one of many high-profile publicity stunts, including working at a McDonald’s, that Trump used to capture voters’ attention in his second successful campaign for the White House.

On October 30, 2024, the day after Biden’s “garbage” remark drove the MAGA world into a frenzy, Trump got off his plane ahead of a rally in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and stepped into the truck, which was emblazoned with the Trump 2024 campaign logo.

“How do you like my garbage truck?” Trump told reporters as he sat in the passenger seat. “This truck is in honor of Kamala and Joe Biden.”

Donald Trump’s legal case in New York concluded Friday when Judge Juan Merchan sentenced him to “unconditional discharge” after being found guilty on falsifying business records.

“After careful analysis, this court determined only lawful sentence that permits entry of judgment of conviction is an unconditional discharge,” Merchan said Friday. “At this time, I impose that sentence to cover all 34 counts.” 

“Sir, I wish you Godspeed as you assume your second term in office,” the judge added.

“This is a great embarrassment to the state of New York,” fired back the President-Elect. “And I would just like to explain that I was treated very, very unfairly. And I thank you very much.”

After the hearing, Trump commented on the sentence via Truth Social.

“The Radical Democrats have lost another pathetic, unAmerican Witch Hunt. After spending tens of millions of dollars, wasting over 6 years of obsessive work that should have been spent on protecting New Yorkers from violent, rampant crime that is destroying the City and State, coordinating with the Biden/Harris Department of Injustice in lawless Weaponization, and bringing completely baseless, illegal, and fake charges against your 45th and 47th President, ME, I was given an UNCONDITIONAL DISCHARGE,” Trump posted.
