The shocking incident unfolded at around 11:30 a.m. local time in Mannheim, a city in the state of Baden-Württemberg. Michael Stürzenberger, a well-known political figure and opponent of the Islamization of Europe, was preparing for an event in the city’s central square when a crazed man brandishing a large blade launched a brutal stabbing rampage. The entire episode was caught on camera by a member of Stürzenberger’s team who was live-streaming at the time. The suspect can be seen slashing Stürzenberger repeatedly as bystanders rush to intervene. At one point, a man attempting to subdue the attacker is tackled by a police officer. As the officer pins the innocent man to the ground, the assailant breaks free and plunges his weapon into the neck and facial area of the cop. Police then opened fire on the suspect, seriously wounding him. It is currently unclear if he survived. “Stürzenberger suffered severe stab wounds to his face, according to eyewitnesses. He was completely cut open from the middle of his face to his lip and also has stab wounds to his leg,” an update on Stürzenberger’s website says. He was rushed to hospital in serious condition but is expected to survive. “According to current information, an attack on several people took place today at around 11:35 a.m. on the market square in Mannheim. One person is said to have attacked several people with a knife and injured them,” Mannheim Police explained in a press release. “No information has yet been given about the extent and severity of the injuries. His remark came amid intensified calls from Ukraine for its foreign backers to lift restrictions on the use of their hardware to strike targets deep inside Russia, coupled with increasingly bold statements from Western leaders. He reasoned that having stable employment was more important than refusing to get the injection, so he got the single-dose Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine in June 2021. Latest numbers from U.S. Customs and Border Protection show that 3,324 Chinese nationals crossed the southwest border in April of this year alone – more than the total crossings for the entire 2022 fiscal year. Given this alarming rate, Rep. Dan Bishop (R-NC) convened a hearing to address the “unprecedented flow of Chinese nationals” at the southern border. He expressed concern during the hearing regarding the vetting process for Chinese migrants, which now consists of five questions from 40 questions before.
