I have bad news for people who like their morning news served with a heavy dose of slapstick!

Late last week, the Oklahoma City media was gifted jailhouse recordings of a sad, desperate Brent Swadley begging his wife, son and one hardworking publicist to cash in back-channel political favors with Kevin Stitt, Mike Mazzei and others.

They quickly dug into the recordings like it was a BBQ buffet, piling their plates high with delicious Swadley’s content for everyone to enjoy.

The only thing on this year’s primary ballot where every Oklahoma voter gets a say is SQ 832.

If approved by voters – and let’s hope it is – the measure would gradually increase Oklahoma’s minimum wage to $15 an hour and, starting in 2030, connect future increases to inflation.
