The Oklahoma County DA has finally filed charges in the News 9 Peeping Tom case we first broke over a month ago.

On May 12th, creepy video voyeur Darrell Vannostran – the award-winning former News 9 chief photographer who allegedly hid cameras inside the station’s private dressing rooms to film coworkers in various stages of undress – was charged with 21 felony counts of taking clandestine photographs.

According to court documents, which we obtained and embedded at the end of this post, seven people were allegedly victimized by Vannostran.

We’re in the heart of graduation season in Oklahoma – a.k.a. that magical time of year when tassels are turned, caps are thrown, and you suddenly feel 900 years old while walking through Target to buy gift cards for distant relatives, your friends’ rapidly aging children, and – apparently – disgraced state lawmakers who had to resign over a felony campaign-finance scandal.

Yesterday afternoon, Ajay Pittman – the former state representative who resigned in disgrace after pleading guilty to felony charges tied to her campaign-finance scandal – sent out a campaign-style mass text blast inviting friends, family, colleagues, and, apparently, half the Oklahoma Democratic Party to her upcoming graduation celebration.
