Sooner Tea Party founder Albert ‘Al’ Gerhart (hereinafter ‘Gerhart’) is a cabinet maker, and
carpenter, out of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Today the craftsman is being hailed as a hero after ousting
Judicial Candidate for Tulsa District Judgeship former Pawnee County Assistant Prosecutor Kyle
Alderson (‘Alderson’).
Alderson, as lackey to Rex Duncan (‘Duncan’), is currently working in a leadership position with
in the Oklahoma Republican Party (‘Republicans’). This violates judicial codes of cannons which
separate judiciary from politics. Specifically rule 4.2 prohibits a judicial officer or candidate from
holding leadership positions within the political parties.
Alderson is assistant general counsel to Duncan, the general counsel. It is alleged this role in
party leadership violates judicial ethics rule 4.1 and 4.2. Previously the Duncan and Alderson worked
together in Pawnee where Alderson was an Assistant District Attorney (ADA) and Duncan the DA.
When reached for a comment Gerhart said that it is believed Alderson and Duncan in Pawnee
misappropriated money. Money meant to go to the Court clerk instead went to Duncan’s District
Attorney’s office. Just last week in a political stunt Alderson attempted to drag Gerhart to Court to
pursue fees against Gerhart for suing the Republicans for discrimination. Neither Duncan or Alderson
were reached for comment at this time.
Gerhart asked for the Court’s recusal arguing that the Court as a member of the republican party
can not be part of a group that discriminates. Currently Special Judge David Guten is running unopposed
now that Alderson ‘dropped out’ of the race Friday August 26th. Gerhart responded that it might be a
little soon for Judge Guten to celebrate just yet.
Currently Judge Guten, pictured above, has not dropped out of the race and is running unopposed.
