Our State Director, John Tidwell spoke this week on the panel at the State Policy Network Annual Meeting in New Orleans, celebrating that recent passage of the REINS Act in Oklahoma.

The REINS Act will empower taxpayers, and help legislators to better understand the impact of burdensome government regulations have on the lives of all Oklahomans.

The bill passed with an overwhelming majority and had strong support from the House and Senate leadership and was signed my Governor Stitt on May 21, 2025.

“Oklahoma continues to set the pace in modernizing our administrative code and reshaping how government does business,” Tidwell said. Oklahoma was 1 of 9 states to pass a REINS Act in 2025.
