New Movie Filmed in Oklahoma Starting Matt Damon in Theaters This Friday

There's a new movie coming out this Friday (07-30-21) staring Matt Damon called Stillwater that was filmed right here in Oklahoma. The new film will hit the silver screen and will hopefully be available for pay-per-view as well. Stillwater was directed by Tom McCarthy and was shot in several different locations around Oklahoma. The Sooner State has become a very popular place for filmmakers and we've seen more and more movies being filmed here over the past couple of years. Continue reading…

Justin Hackney and Spreading PAINT are at it again. You can add another mural to Lawton's ever growing collection. The brand new painting can be seen on the side of Phillips Music Company at 107 S.W. Sheridan Road. It's visible from the road but you'll want to pull in to get a better look and admire Justin's latest masterpiece. We have a new mural in Lawton, Fort Sill. Maybe you've seen it on the side of Ares State Armory located at 2210 W. Gore Blvd. How appropriate that this new mural that adorns the South side of the building is none other than Sylvester Stallone as John Rambo. With Ares being a gun store it's a perfect match. It's a great mural and has already started getting attention. I swung by today during lunch today to take a quick picture and there was already people there taking selfies and other photos. Beware of Counterfeit $100 Bills in Lawton

Well, that didn't take too long. There's a new scam in Lawton, Fort Sill. It's seems like as soon as a scam is identified, another quickly takes it's place. This time around it's counterfeit money, so be on the look out for fake $100 bills. Several local and area businesses have reported receiving these counterfeit bills. LPD (Lawton Police Department) have confirmed this and are warning business owners and people in general to be very careful when dealing with cash transactions. Continue reading…
