If anyone wonders why it's impossible to take the legacy media seriously, it's because they lie. And when they aren't overtly lying, they're twisting the truth so much it should be called lying. And when they aren't doing that, they're jumping on a story to push their narrative without waiting for any verification just because, well, they don't care if things are true, just that they can use it...
Such was the case last week when a Duke University volleyball player named Rachel Richardson claimed that someone in the crowd attending the match yelled a racial slur "every time she served." She additionally alleged that she was "threatened by a white male that told her to watch her back going to the team bus."
According to The Blaze, Richardson said in a statement: "My fellow African American teammates and I were targeted and racially heckled throughout the entirety of the match. The slurs and comments grew into threats which caused us to feel unsafe."
The left-wing media immediately ran with it. (h/t Twitchy)
But, uh, it wasn't f*ckin' true!
If the left-wing media had only bothered to take a moment to unwad their panties, remove their heads from their a**ses, and take a deep breath, they might have calmed down long enough to think about looking into the allegations. And even if that wasn't going to happen, the process of removing their heads from their a**ses may have taken long enough for the truth to come out and prevent them from throwing their ignorant hissy fits!
According to the BYU Cougar Chronicle, numerous sources, from BYU athletic department staff to several people who were in attendance, seated throughout the section from which Richardson alleges the slurs were yelled, have stated that no such thing was ever screamed. Apparently, we're to believe this single volleyball player, standing on the court, heard a slur yelled repeatedly from the stands while not a single person seated anywhere in the crowd heard a thing. Even those people who were seated beside the court heard nothing.
A review of video taken of the match failed to provide any evidence of the alleged incident, too.
Has the media come out to apologize? No.
A fan, however, was banned from attending BYU games after Duke players identified him by the sound of his voice... For an alleged incident that has no corroborating evidence...
Because when the left comes for you, they don't need evidence. Nothing need actually occur. They just need to cry loud enough.
