The Supreme authority of the Oklahoma Republican Party (known as the State Committee) met Saturday in Oklahoma City to conduct several business issues facing the party in this election year. Well over 100 members from most of the 77 county party leadership teams were present the meeting which was called chaired by the state Vice Chairman, Wayne Hill. Brian Hobbs, Vice Chair of the 3rd District Committee, said that he was seated in a special election and added to the State Committee by a unanimous voice vote. Notably missing from the meeting was State Chairman Nathan Dahm, & National Committee members, Steve Curry, and Pam Pollard; according to Hobbs' account. Curry & Pollard are ending their current terms as RNC members, but remain on the OKGOP Central Committee with Chairman Dahm & Vice Chair Hill. |
