Health Dept Reports Medical Marijuana Applications Rate of 465/hr.

The Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority (OMMA), a division of the Oklahoma Health Dept., reported nearly 1000 applications were submitted, in the first 2 hours, saturday morning.

As of noon, we have received 569 patient, 2 caregiver, 122 dispensary, 194 grower and 42 processor applications

The OMMA's twitter feed became the top source of clarification for patients and other interested Oklahomans who still don't quite understand the latest versions of the emergency rules.

  No. Patient license gives you the right to personal grow within the limits set forth in SQ 788.

  I made the same mistake. OMMA responded to my email and told me I have to wait for a rejection before I can correct my error.

  They are just working through a few to test the process. Full work on approval will begin in earnest on Monday.
