SoonerPolitics & Oklahomans for Health team up with 3D Politics to sponsor the Oklahoma Town Hall On Marijuana Policy. Join fellow Oklahomans for this Tuesday Night open meeting & join in the discussion.
All Oklahoma is invited to participate in the Oklahoma Town Hall on Marijuana Policy, with key lawmakers. Oklahomans for Health & SoonerPolitics are sponsoring the event in an effort to build better communication between policy makers and those impacted by the new drug policy reforms. Come with your most important questions written, so we can present your concerns anonymously. The event is taking place at:
-Chip Paul of Oklahomans for Health (author of the landmark medical marijuana reform (SQ788), - Tom McCay (Tulsa businessman and former mayoral candidate). 3D Politics panelists will be hosting the forum, and assisting the moderators. The authors of SQ807 & SQ808 have been invited to set up information tables at the event. the doors open at 6pm. The event is from 6:30-8pm. Press availability is at 5:45-6:15pm. |

- Rep. TJ Marti is a pharmacist from Tulsa, serving his first term in the Oklahoma Legislature.
- Rep. Scott Fetgatter is a businessman from Okmulgee, serving his 2nd term, Fetgatter was deeply involved in creating a regulatory framework to allow the medical marijuana industry to grow quickly, in response to the patient load exploding to over 200,000. He chairs the business & commerce committee. - Rep. Monroe Nichols is a 2nd term legislator and vice chair of the House Democrat Caucus. |
