Bidens war on women | Anna Zeigler

1/22/2021

President Joe Biden has been vigorously exercising his pen since his inauguration. Recently, the hashtag #BidenErasedWomen popped up on Twitter in response to one of the many Executive Orders he signed on his first day in office. Titled, “Executive Order on Preventing and Combating Discrimination on the Basis of Gender Identity or Sexual Orientation,” many rightly argue this order will ensure that which it purports to prevent: discriminating against women by allowing biological males to claim the rights and protections afforded to women.

Brett Weinstein had this to say on Twitter:

It’s not possible to provide protections for women if a man can declare himself a women and access the same protections. That’s not an opinion. That is a logical fact.

Evolution endowed the sexes differently. Protections for women are just and must be defended.#BidenErasedWomen

— Bret Weinstein (@BretWeinstein) January 21, 2021

While I would argue Creator God, not evolution, “endowed the sexes differently,” his point is a worthy and important one. If a biological male can declare himself to be a woman and immediately gain access to the spaces designated for women, women are essentially erased. Not only are women erased, they are potentially put in harm’s way. Biological males are often physically larger and stronger than biological females and will likely injure smaller, weaker females in athletic competitions. There is also the obvious danger of an opportunistic predator who is willing to put on a dress to gain access to women’s restrooms and locker rooms.

It is difficult to square Biden’s calls for unity with an Executive Order that squarely takes aim at half the US population. The first line of the EO states, “Every person should be treated with respect and dignity and should be able to live without fear, no matter who they are or whom they love.” Biological males being granted unfettered access to women’s sports, women’s locker rooms, and women’s restrooms has zero to do with anyone’s love interest. This does not prevent discrimination; it legalizes discrimination against every biological woman. It ensures the eventual erasure of true women’s sports and biologically female champions.

How is it treating biological women with respect to legalize the erasure of all that makes women unique by allowing biological males to declare themselves to be female? That is a slap in the face to women. It ought to rouse the passions of every woman who claims to be a feminist and every man who has daughter.

How is it treating biological women with respect to legalize the erasure of all that makes women unique by allowing biological males to declare themselves to be female? That is a slap in the face to women.

This Executive Order of Biden’s, coupled with the Left’s long march to erase women, is particularly ironic considering the supposed War on Women the Right is always accused of waging. Recall the hysterical news cycle that ensued after presidential candidate Mitt Romney used the phrase “binders full of women” to refer to his efforts as Governor of Massacusettes to include women in his Cabinet.

Recall the treatment of vice-presidential nominee Sarah Palin who was accused of, among other things, faking a pregnancy and claiming the child of her teen daughter as her own. Regardless of your thoughts on Palin, the way she was treated during the 2008 election cycle was eye-opening. If you were paying attention and are intellectually honest, you well know who was and still is waging a War on Women.

In truth, the Left has been waging a War on Women for nearly 50 years since they fought to enshrine abortion in federal law. They ignore the harsh realities of abortion for both mother and child, smothering the voices of dissenters with slogans about choice as countless nameless, voiceless baby girls are snuffed out in the womb in the name of “women’s rights.”

The culture war is not only important, it is the fight worth having.

The culture war is not only important, it is the fight worth having. The sooner the GOP realizes this, the better. Fight this Executive Order at the state level. Fight for school choice. Continue to fight for every inch in the battle for the unborn. Don’t fight due to a misguided sense of loyalty to Donald Trump or Mitch McConnell. Don’t fight in order to own the libs. Fight for your daughters.

John Brennan is a left-wing lunatic | Buck Sexton

The Biden era is already a scary place as former CIA Director & “left-wing zealot” John Brennan says “the Biden team” are moving in “laser-like fashion” to investigate certain Americans.

The former Obama Administration official even compared some citizens to religious extremists overseas saying that “even libertarians” can be part of the “unholy alliance” of domestic radicals.

“This lunatic is singling out our pro-weed legalization, individual liberty obsessed brethren in the libertarian movement.”

Is the Paris Climate Agreement unconstitutional?

1/22/2021

One of the first executive actions taken by Joe Biden as president was to rejoin the Paris Climate Agreement but its constitutionality is highly suspect, Dana Loesch said on Thursday.

President Barack Obama engaged in the so-called agreement by creating a loophole around the Constitution, she explained.

“This is a treaty that did an end-run around the Senate…”

The media Democrats tortured America | Mike Slater

The mainstream media is the biggest reason that President Donald Trump won in 2016 and lost in 2020, said Mike Slater on Thursday.

The news’ constant coverage gave the political newcomer an edge four years ago but their never-ending attacks beat many Americans into submission this time, he argued.

“The media and the Democratic Party tortured the American people for four years… the hysteria was totally unprecedented.”

Why Bidens inaugural speech was disappointing | Bill OReilly

Bill O’Reilly on Wednesday provided the gist of Joe Biden’s inaugural speech, why it was so disappointing, and what he should have said.

O’Reilly was not impressed by the 46th president or his speech writer. He also called out Fox News’ Chris Wallace for arguing that Biden’s speech was “the best he’s ever seen” in sixty years.

“Now that would have taken courage… I’ve never seen him do anything courageous.”

The real reason Trump is so hated | Jesse Kelly

1/21/2021

What is President Donald Trump’s legacy? Well, it depends who writes the history, Jesse Kelly said this week. If the way history is written has any similarities to how the news is composed, he may be in trouble but if the truth prevails, it will be much more kind.

Chief among the reasons for the hatred directed at President Trump was his staunch opposition to foreign wars, disrupting the war machine’s “gravy train” of some very powerful people, Kelly explained.

“Donald Trump was a system disruptor.”

A major reason the GOP lost in Georgia | Buck Sexton

Newly-elected Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene joined Buck Sexton on Hold the Line Monday to discuss her Twitter ban and explain how Republicans lost the all-important Senate runoff her home state of Georgia.

The Georgia Secretary of State’s COO cast blame on her personally for the loss and after firing back, she was slapped with a 12-hour Twitter ban. He and his boss are part to blame for the major setback of the GOP losing two U.S. Senate seats in the Deep South, she argued.

“Little Gabe ran the election and they mailed out request forms, 6.9 million of them…”

Joe Biden issued seventeen executive orders and actions on his first day as president, Dana Loesch reported on Wednesday.

The moves involved a mask mandate, re-engaging with the World Health Organization, climate change, and more.

“He’s nationalizing the coronavirus response… I’m sure this is going to go swimmingly at the national level.”

Two really bad Biden Executive Orders and one good one | Steve Berman

1/21/2021

On President Biden’s first day, he signed a stack of Executive Orders that reflect his administration’s priorities. From the list, it’s clear that Biden’s top priority is to undo everything President Trump did in four years.

I am not certain of this, but I think no president in history has moved so quickly to revoke his predecessor’s executive actions while in office. In fact, until Donald Trump, presidents were loath to revoke any previous president’s EOs at all.

In his term, Trump ran into trouble and resistance attempting to undo many of President Obama’s executive overreaches. For instance, Trump attempted to undo DACA, but the courts stopped him. The first EO on Biden’s “first day” list is to preserve and “fortify” DACA. Whatever that means. It’s clear that DACA is illegal, but the courts have upheld it, mostly because President Trump fumbled badly in his legal and procedural efforts to remove it.

As bad as the DACA EO is, that’s not really one of the “bad” ones I’m talking about. Essentially DACA is a neutral, preening for the liberal media order, that does nothing, and changes nothing.

Here’s two really bad ones.

Restoring science to tackle the climate crisis.

“The heads of all agencies shall immediately review all existing regulations, orders, guidance documents, policies, and any other similar agency actions (agency actions) promulgated, issued, or adopted between January 20, 2017, and January 20, 2021, that are or may be inconsistent with, or present obstacles to, the policy set forth in section 1 of this order.”

Note the dates: January 20, 2017 through January 20, 2021, the exact dates Donald J. Trump was in office. This EO doesn’t touch anything Presidents Bush or Obama did. Only Trump.

Many of Trump’s energy policies were actually very good for the nation, while not harmful to the environment. But the enviro-warriors in the Democratic Party demand more than “not harmful.” They want to wreck the economy to play Captain Planet.

This EO will usher in miles of red tape and regulation (that Trump rolled back) that will choke business, do nothing to stimulate actual market forces to produce green products, and will make energy costs skyrocket. Worse, it will reopen the extortion racket the Obama EPA ran to extract money from corporations to hand to the same enviro-warriors who fork over large donations to Democrats.

Further, it un-settles a few boundary modifications made by the Trump Department of the Interior on national monuments. Beyond creating more uncertainty for users of federal land, it’s just petty.

Advancing racial equity

After waxing eloquent about unity and hugs and such, Biden took one of the most truth-based elements of the Trump administration, the “1776 commission,” and dissolved it. That commission was set up to counter the “alternative history” (read: made-up narrative; e.g. lies) of the founding of this nation.

CNN polished a turd to mirror perfection in their coverage of this, linking the New York Times’ debunked and benighted “1619 Project” to “schools applying a more accurate history curriculum around slavery in the US.” Any school that teaches the “1619 Project” as an accurate historical record should lose its history accreditation, because “1619” is race-baiting fiction.

Now on to the EO Biden signed. First, it revokes Trump’s “Combating Race and Sex Stereotyping” EO from last September. The Department of Labor noted that the purpose of this EO was “not to promote race or sex stereotyping or scapegoating.” No longer.

Get ready for the parade of scapegoats.

The Biden EO directs that all “Federal datasets” be evaluated so they can be “disaggregated” by race, ethnicity, gender, disability, income, veteran status, ad infinitum. In the words of the EO, this “lack of data has cascading effects and impedes efforts to measure and advance equity.” In other words, the Biden administration wants to cover itself with statistical fantasies to support all kinds of critical race theory “pilot programs.”

Money will be allocated for these programs, which will attract charlatans, book-publishing celebrities, and race hucksters like flies to the dump.

Instead of including everyone in America as equal (“equity”), this terrible EO will set up a caste system in which the government will fund racist programs, as long as white people are blamed for everyone’s ills. They will teach this to our children. They will advance fictional historical narratives to support it. They will offer all kinds of statistics to justify it.

But it’s as wrong as wrong can be. I wish Biden had not signed it, because this is the proverbial turd in the punchbowl for unity and healing.

Now for the good one.

COVID-19 response

Biden’s Executive Order creating a COVID-19 Response Coordinator (which will undoubtedly be known as the “COVID czar”) is, frankly, great. It should have been done months ago by the Trump administration. Instead, Trump threw the football at Vice President Mike Pence, who did his best herding cats. Ultimately, the task force devolved into a three-ring circus, with all the rings filled with clowns.

I could quote the entire EO here because it’s so well-written and thoughtful. Obviously, Biden’s staff put in the hours and did their homework on this one. It addresses safe reopening and operation of schools, child care providers, Head Start; distribution of vaccine; supply of PPE, tests and supplies; and use of the Defense Production Act.

It also covers future “Biological Threats and Pandemics.” See Section 2(b), and all of Section 3.

The COVID-19 Response Coordinator shall have the authority to convene principals from relevant agencies, in consultation with the Assistant to the President for Domestic Policy (APDP) on matters involving the domestic COVID-19 response, and in consultation with the Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs (APNSA) on matters involving the global COVID-19 response.  The COVID-19 Response Coordinator shall also coordinate any corresponding deputies and interagency processes.

I’ve always believed in having one belly button to handle complex and critical tasks. The military does it this way. A task force can only act on behalf of its members, and frequently cheats away advantages in seeking unity. A single response coordinator can make the call and take the heat if it’s wrong.

This is a great Executive Order, and I’m glad Biden signed it so quickly. I only hope he appoints a competent person to carry it out.

I’m also good with Biden’s federal mask mandate. I know, “muh liberty!” But the damage done to the nation’s preparedness, and to our citizens’ willingness to protect each other from this virus by President Trump’s resistance to masks, and active promotion of mask resisters, needed to be undone. You may disagree. I’m sorry if you feel that way, but masks stop the spread, and you should wear one when you’re inside a closed area with others or outside and unable to social distance.

It’s a good thing to promote mask-wearing until everyone is vaccinated.

I was hopeful that President Biden would live up to his “unity” inaugural speech. There’s still plenty of time for him to try. But based on his first day EOs, I’d say the “shove it down their throats” camp has lots of influence in the Biden administration, and that doesn’t smell like unity.

We shall have to watch him closely.

Is this blood on Mitch McConnells hands? | Bill OReilly

An MS-13 gang member who was deported a shocking ten times killed his girlfriend in front of their child in Los Angeles before killing himself while evading law enforcement, Bill O’Reilly reported on Monday.

L.A. County let the suspect out of jail before he murdered his girlfriend, he explained. Kate’s Law, legislation spearheaded by O’Reilly himself, would have locked him away for at least a decade but it was killed by Mitch McConnell.

“Hundreds, if not thousands, of people are dead since 2015 because the turtle wouldn’t put it up for a vote!”
