A new COVID-19 mutation known as the 'Delta' variant, first detected in India, has now spread to eighty countries including the United States. Though it has not been determined if the 'Delta' variant makes you sicker it does spread quicker and is estimated to account for more than twenty percent of all new infections in the United States over the recent weeks.
