Recruiting in this revenue sharing era has seemed perhaps even more erratic. Class of 2026 corner Victor Lincoln Jr. announced on Monday that he is flipping his commitment from Oklahoma State to Arkansas after taking an official visit to Fayetteville not long ago. He becomes the third player to flip out of the Cowboys’ class in the past few weeks, but in that time the Cowboys have also landed two massive defensive linemen in the class. A consensus three-star prospect, Lincoln committed to the Cowboys on April 28 (shortly after his official visit) over offers from Arkansas, Kansas State, Baylor, Nebraska, Texas Tech and others. He is the No. 619 player in the 247Sports Composite ranking for the class, which makes him the No. 54 corner in the class and the No. 87 player from Texas (Lancaster). Lincoln becomes the second corner to flip from OSU’s class, joining Jason Bradford. Bradford flipped from OSU to TCU in the middle of this month. OSU’s 2026 class does, though, still have a corner in it in Josiah Vilmael (Richmond, Texas). OSU also has a safety in the class in Owasso’s Carter Langenderfer. The Cowboys are in the hunt for another corner, legacy Cowboy Braeden Presley. The younger brother of Brennan and Braylin, Braeden has OSU in his top four along with Kansas State, Oklahoma and Texas Tech. He is set to announce his college decision on Thursday. Lincoln’s exit pushes the Cowboys class back down to a dozen commitments after the big pickups of four-star defensive linemen Danny Beale III and Tajh Overton last week. OSU’s class ranks 12th in the Big 12, but a lot of that has to do with quantity over quality. On a per-commit average, OSU’s class ranks fifth. OSU’s 2026 Commitments

The Cowboys filled a vacant roster spot for their current team this weekend by picking up Israeli point guard Daniel Guetta, but Steve Lutz’s staff also has an eye on the future. Here’s a look at some recent class of 2026 recruiting developments. OSU Offers Four-Star Wing Noah SmithNoah Smith, a 6-foot-8, 200-pound wing from Plainfield, Indiana, announced an Oklahoma State offer this past weekend. On3 recently moved Smith up to No. 85 in its ranking for the 2026 class. He is the No. 154 player in the 247Sports Composite ranking for the 2026 class, with both services listing him as a four-star prospect.
His recruitment looks like it’s just starting to take off, but OSU joins the likes of DePaul, Xavier, East Carolina, Indiana State, Toledo and others that have extended offers. As a high school junior this past season, Smith averaged 16.8 points, 7.8 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.5 blocks a game while shooting 52% from the field and 32% from 3, according to MaxPreps. That followed up a sophomore season where he averaged 12.8 points and 7.3 rebounds. He plays his AAU ball in the Puma-sponsored Pro16 league with Grand Park Premier. On3 recruiting analyst Jamie Shaw spoke about Smith’s game on a podcast earlier this month after On3 move Smith up 43 spots in its rankings. “Six-(foot)-7, possibly 6-8, long, very fluid athlete,” Shaw said. “But the skill — he can really shoot the ball. He’s really got great touch and stuff. He can stretch the floor, kind of provide spacing in that way. He’s developing putting it on the floor, but the athletic framework that he has at 6-7, 6-8 long with the projectability that he has in his body, coupled with the athletic fluidity makes him a little unique among his peers. But then when you add the shooting aspect to it, as well, a true faceup-type guy with that type of size, with that projectability, there’s a pretty bright future with the different archetypal pathways he can go down. “It’s gonna be fun to watch what his next three years look like because I feel like his best basketball is ahead of him.”
Four-Star Guard Cameron Lomax Schedules OSU VisitAnother four-star has scheduled out his official visits, and a trip to Stillwater is included. Cameron Lomax will be at Oklahoma State on Sept. 27, the weekend of the Baylor football game, according to 247Sports’ Brandon Jenkins. Lomax is reportedly also visiting Xavier, Houston, SMU, LSU, Oklahoma and Arizona State. Listed at 6-foot-1, Lomax is the No. 135 player in the 2026 class, according to 247Sports, which lists him as the No. 20 combo guard in the class and the No. 12 player from the state of Texas. He is set to play at Faith Family Academy of Oak Cliff in Dallas after playing at Heritage High in Frisco. According to MaxPreps, Lomax has scored at least 15 point a game in each of his first three seasons of high school ball. As a junior at Heritage this past season, Lomax averaged 22.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 2.8 steals a game while shooting 34% from 3 on 160 attempts. In 37 games, Lomax scored 30 or more points four times and 20 or more points 26 times. In eight games with Drive Nation on Nike’s EYBL circuit this year, Lomax is averaging 15.1 points, three rebounds and 2.8 assists a game while shooting 38% from 3.

Steve Lutz filled one of his final two roster spots Sunday morning with the addition of an overseas guard. Daniel Guetta, a 6-foot-2 guard from Israel, pledged to Oklahoma State, according to Jon Chepkevich. Playing with Maccabi Rehovot this past season in Israel, Guetta averaged 9.6 points, 2.9 rebounds and 4.7 assists a game while shooting 35% from 3. Guetta will be 22 in August. He scored a season-high 24 points in a game back in April, a game Guetta went 3-for-6 from 3-point range in while also dishing seven assists. He also had a 10-point, 12-assist double-double in December and scored in double figures 14 times in 35 games. He had at least five assists in 18 games. OSU offered him earlier this month. Guetta adds to a group of international flavor Lutz has recruited. The 2025-26 Cowboys will also feature Serbian Andrija Vukovic, Greek Lefteris Mantzoukas, Iranian Parsa Fallah and Nigerian Ben Ahmed. Updated Roster

There’s a big UFC event this weekend where a former Cowboy will defend his unbeaten MMA record. Jacobe Smith (10-0) will fight Niko Price (16-8) on the early prelims, which start at 6 p.m. Saturday on UFC Fight Pass. This will mark Smith’s first bout on a proper UFC pay-per-view. He beat Christien Savoie via some second round ground and pound back in October at Dana White’s Contender Series. He then stepped into a UFC Fight Night card on short notice in January and finished Preston Parsons with a left hook in the first round. Of his 10 wins, eight have finished via either KO or TKO. Price enters this match having lost three of his past four fights, but he’s a longtime UFC veteran. The first UFC card he appeared on was UFC 207 back in 2016. Like Smith, Price started his MMA career 10-0. Still, Smith is a MASSIVE favorite Saturday night. FanDuel has him at -2500. DraftKings has him at -2100. Smith was an All-American wrestler at Oklahoma State in 2018 after winning a pair of NJCAA national titles with NEO.

Oklahoma State softball’s newest addition, Georgia Tech transfer Kaya Booker, has yet to make her collegiate debut due to injury, but that just means she has more time to represent the Cowgirls. Booker announced her commitment to Oklahoma State on Friday. She is coming off a medical redshirt with the Yellowjackets. “We’re very excited to add Kaya to the team,” OSU coach Kenny Gajewski said. “She’s coming off a freshman season at Georgia Tech where she had to redshirt because of an injury, and we can’t wait to see her grow and develop here as a Cowgirl.” Extra Innings Softball ranked Booker No. 33 overall and 24th among outfielders in the 2024 class. She has four years of eligibility left. “Words can’t describe how excited I am to be a Cowgirl,” Booker said. “This program is committed to success on and off the field, which is incredibly special to me. Stillwater is so unique, and I have no doubt that I’ll be challenged here. I’m looking forward to being surrounded by girls and coaches who have a high standard for excellence.” The Alpharetta, Georgia native earned the All-Region Offensive Player of the Year Award in 2022 and 2023. Booker holds single-season school records at Chattahoochee High in batting average (.565), hits (54), RBI (38) and stolen bases (36). She also earned all-state honors in softball and track and field where she was particularly successful in the 4×400 relay. Booker is the third transfer to join the Cowgirls this offseason joining Virginia Tech’s Jayden Jones and Indiana’s Melina Wilkison.
