Thanks for stopping by – here’s your daily dose of Oklahoma State sports news.
OSU Bullets
• Brackets are out for this weekend’s Big 12 wrestling tournament, and you can see each Cowboy’s path to a conference title – a Cowboy isn’t seeded lower than No. 3 with an average seed of 1.4 (PFB)
• Steve Lutz’s Pokes wrap the regular season road schedule this evening in Orlando (PFB)
• PFB’s Marshall Scott had a little bad news, good news playing out after the blowout loss to Cincinnati over the weekend:
(Parsa) Fallah getting hurt, getting clobbered on the road again — it just doesn’t feel like there is some magical Big 12 Tournament run coming that will get the Pokes back in NCAA Tournament contention. This could be a fun NIT team with its scoring ability. Or Maybe the Cowboys can find their way into the College Basketball Crown tournament in Las Vegas. But this certainly feels like the fifth straight year the Cowboys will miss the NCAA Tournament. [PFB]
• The Cowboys and Cowgirls play Missouri State in baseball at 4pm and softball at 6pm – is it unreasonable to assume the Bears carpooled from Springfield?
• Taking a look at what’s happened in the OSU wide receiver room (PFB)
• Looks like the Pokes (hypothetically) should run away with the Big 12s.
I’ll be helping out @USAWrestling covering the Big 12 Tournament this weekend.
