• Ruby Meylan avenged the Cowgirls’ Saturday loss to Kansas, beat the Jayhawks, and clinched the No. 2 seed in the Big 12 tournament (PFB) • Pokes fought back from a seven-run hole, beat the Frogs 11-10 on Sunday (PFB) • Steve Lutz pointed out that adding teams to the NCAA Tournament adds pressure for coaches struggling to get in:

“I think it definitely creates more pressure, as we move towards more of these power conferences,” said OSU men’s coach Steve Lutz. “If they’re taking more teams, and you’re not able to make the tournament, especially if your university has invested into your program…” Lutz said. “You’re already starting to see people let go after three years, whereas you used to get four or five years.” [TulsaWorld]
