After a day full of portal exits, Steve Lutz retains some scoring and playmaking from his backcourt.
Oklahoma State guard Kanye Clary is ready to “run it back” and return to Stillwater for his senior year, he announced on Tuesday via his Instagram account.

The 6-foot lefty point guard finished the season as the Cowboys’ third-leading scorer and their leader in assists. Clary ranked 10th in the Big 12 in assists per game (4.6) and assist percentage (27.3).
His 10.6 points per game landed behind only Anthony Roy and Parsa Fallah who both exhausted their eligibility at the end of the 2025-26 season. As did OSU’s No. 4 scorer, guard Christian Coleman.
Clary ended the year on an upswing, scoring double digits in six of his last seven outings, including a season-high 23 points in the Pokes’ overtime win over UCF.
He started his career at Penn State where he averaged 16.7 points per game as a sophomore, before transferring to Mississippi State for 2024-25. His season with the Bulldogs was cut short due to injury. He landed on his feet in Stillwater, but his scoring took a hit with all the prolific shot-makers Lutz brought in this past offseason, but he was still an effective floor general.
His return shores up a backcourt that has gone through a lot of turnover this week. Both Jaylen Curry and Vyctorius Miller were reported to have entered the transfer portal earlier Tuesday, as well as forward Robert Jennings II.
