NYC schools using tax dollars to host LGBTQ writers promoting books on gender identity

3/22/2023

A is for apple, B is for… bi?

That's essentially what the New York City Department of Education is teaching young children.

In 2015, the NYC Department of Education partnered with Lambda Literary, an LGBTQ literary organization, to implement their LGBTQ Writers in School program in the NYC public school system. The program arranges for LGBTQ writers to visit K-12 classrooms to discuss LGBTQ literature and provide “safe spaces for students to talk about great books, queer life, and how to thrive as an LGBTQ person.” Books are chosen by the teachers from a suggested book list, and the students are required to read the books prior to the visit.

The organizers of this program deny that their goal is to "groom students with made up gender ideologies” or focus the curriculum on "sex and sexual activities," yet the content of the books tell a very different story. Children as young as 3 years old are encouraged to read books that focus on gender identities and sexual orientations. One recommended book, ABC of Gender Identity, lists 26 different genders in alphabetical order. When Aidan Became a Brother, also on the reading list, details how young Aidan realized he was a trans boy and “fixed the parts of life that didn't fit anymore.”

Excerpt from When Aidan Became a Brother

In an elementary school virtual visit featuring author Ernesto Javier Martinez, students participated in the reading of Martinez’s book, When We Love Someone We Sing to Them. The author described the book as one that depicts what it is like to have your first crush. He then went on to read the book: “What song should we sing for your friend, “ Martinez read. “Teach me a song for a boy who loves boys.”

The books get a little more explicit when it comes to the middle and high school recommendations. The One Who Loves You The Most tells the story of twelve-year-old Gabriela, who is “trying to find their place in the world… and in their body, which feels less and less right with each passing day.” Other books the program recommends are The Lesbiana’s Guide to Catholic School, The Passing Playbook, and Out Now: Queer We Go Again!.

In a virtual classroom visit to middle schoolers, author Mark Oshiro read from his book, The Insiders, a story about a boy who hides in the closet, only to find out he is not alone. Oshiro introduced himself to the class as a “trans-racial adoptee” and briefly talked about his homophobic, religious parents. He also spoke about the upcoming Percy Jackson book, which he co-authored.  “On a scale of 1-10, how gay is your Percy Jackson book,” one student asked. “Seven hundred,” Oshiro exclaimed.

Although less than half of all 3rd through 8th graders in New York City were proficient in reading in 2019, Melissa Jacobs, Director of Library Services for the NYC DOE, admitted she fought to keep this program alive during the pandemic. In 2021, New York City quadrupled its investment in the LGBTQ Writers in Schools program, increasing funding from $100,000 to $400,000. This taxpayer-funded program has had school-wide effects. In some cases, the concept of talking openly about pronouns has been introduced to the school culture. In other schools, the administrators have agreed to provide students with gender-inclusive bathrooms.

For parents looking to opt their kids out of this program, that is not an option. “It’s actually against DOE policy,” Jude Schoenfeld, LGBTQ Community Coordinator, said in a discussion panel. “You cannot opt your student out of LGBTQ lessons or curriculum.”

The New York City Department of Education did not respond to Libs of TikTok’s request for comment.

WATCH: Parents outraged after students mandated to watch drag performance school doubles down

3/13/2023

Pleasant Grove High School in Elk Grove, California held a multicultural assembly on Friday, March 3, in which teens performed a school-sanctioned youth drag performance. The performance featured the high school's LGBTQ+ group dancing provocatively in drag-inspired outfits.

The assembly took place during school hours and was mandatory for all students to attend. One student felt so uncomfortable, he had no choice but to put his head down. When his mother told him to leave, he said he was not allowed to.

The first drag performer states that the performance is a “protest” for “[drag] queens and transgender youth.” They then go on to slam a slew of red states for “targeting” transgender youth, “Our performance is for our community in Oklahoma, Idaho, Florida, Arizona, Texas, Arkansas, Mississippi, Kansas, Alabama, and Tennessee, who are actively being targeted.”

Many parents were outraged that they were not notified about the drag performance in advance. In an email sent out prior to the event, the school made no indication there would be a drag performance during the assembly. This differed from previous years, in which parents were made aware of all of the groups performing ahead of time.

Pleasant Grove High School is no stranger when it comes to grooming teenagers. The District’s website offers a “Gender Support Plan” to students as a way to “create shared understandings about the ways in which the student’s authentic gender will be accounted for and supported at school.” Students are also encouraged to use facilities consistent with their gender identity, without respect to the gender listed on their records.

The school library contains many books consistent with the school’s extreme agenda.  Queer : The ultimate LGBTQ guide for teens, proclaims to take  “LGBT teens on an awesome and enlightening journey… of queer life… with advice on coming out… and having sex.” Students can also take out Flamer, a book that contains sexually explicit and pornographic content. Drag Teen, also found in the school library, details the story of a high school senior who competes in a drag teen competition.

A page from the pornographic book, Flamer

In response to the backlash received from the drag performance, The Elk Grove Unified School District put out a statement, doubling down on it. “The show included only Elk Grove Unified students and was held in full compliance with student codes of conduct and existing requirements for on-campus events,” it read. “All performances at the multicultural assembly were approved by school staff and administration with the support of EGUSD Secondary Education.

The school’s blatant disregard for the concern of students and parents highlights exactly why our work is so important. Every student deserves to feel comfortable, safe, and protected. We will continue to expose schools like Pleasant Grove High School for their attempt at grooming and sexualizing students.

Pleasant Grove High School and the Elk Grove Unified School District did not respond to Libs of TikTok’s request for comment. The next Elk Grove Unified School Board meeting is set to take place on March 21.

BREAKING: Middle school removes gender identity lesson after Libs of TikTok exposé

3/7/2023

Parents of Copley-Fairlawn Middle Schoolers were alarmed to find out their children were set to be taught about gender identity as part of their fifth-grade health curriculum.

In a letter sent to parents, Ms. O'Donnell, a health teacher at Copley-Fairlawn Middle School, introduced the puberty education that fifth graders would receive. She wrote that the lessons would cover the physical and emotional changes that can be expected during puberty and would be taught in a way that was “age-appropriate, scientifically accurate, and non-judgmental.”

But the lessons did not appear to be age appropriate or scientifically accurate at all.

Students were expected to learn “the difference between sex assigned at birth and gender identity and expression.” They would also be taught about “internal and external reproductive body parts using medically accurate terms in a gender-neutral way.”

The Copley-Fairlawn City Schools contracts with Akron Children's School Hospital. Akron Children's School Health Services provides school nurses and medical assistants to all schools in the district. This is the same hospital system that Libs of TikTok previously exposed for having a ‘Gender Affirming Center’ which offers puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones to kids as young as seven years old. Now this hospital is working with schools to inject gender ideology into the curriculum.

Last week, Libs of TikTok obtained a copy of the letter from a concerned parent and contacted the school for comment. The superintendent, Brian Poe, responded that a meeting had been held between the principal and Ms. O’Donnell. He assured us that an updated letter would go out to parents that afternoon, modifying the puberty lesson.

Email from Superintendent Brian Poe to Libs of TikTok, confirming the lesson change

Principal Aaron Walker then sent an email to parents acknowledging that the original letter describing the lesson did not meet Ohio’s standards and confirmed that the school would not be teaching about gender identity.

Email from Principal Walker to parents, confirming the lesson change

Superintendent Poe reassured us that the school will not teach fifth graders about gender identity, gender expression, or that sex is “assigned” at birth.

Email from the superintendent to Libs of TikTok, clarifying the lesson modifications

Libs of TikTok is proud to have played a role in implementing the curriculum change at Copley-Fairlawn Middle School and will continue to use our platform to help parents hold educators accountable in schools across America. Gender ideology has no place in our schools and we will fight every day to expose it.

Portland middle school hosts black-only family event

The 1920’s called, they want their domestic policy back.

Parkrose Middle School in Portland, Oregon is promoting segregation amongst its families. In an email sent to parents, the school invited black families to join what they are calling a “Black Family Social” event. The event took place on February 23, and advertised free soul food, haircuts, dance, raffles, and more.

Flyer for the 2023 Black Family Social

The event appears to be an annual occurrence, dating back as early as 2017. Black families are encouraged to join as a “culture to network together” and learn about supporting African American students. There is no recommendation for families of other racial backgrounds to participate.

Flyer for the 2017 Black Family Social event

Some parents pushed back against the event, as they believe it causes unnecessary division within the diverse Parkrose community. “It's hard enough as it is to meet and make friends,” one parent told us, “ especially if you can't or don't engage in after-school programs. Parties and events tend to intrigue my kids and they almost always want to go. But not being allowed to go, merely based on the color of their skin, breaks my heart.”

Parkrose Middle School seems to have a history of encouraging divisiveness. The school library contains a few “anti-racist” books, such as Stamped and Me and White Supremacy. Stamped, co-authored by radical leftist Imbram X. Kendi, details the history of “racist and anti-racist ideas in America.” It also contains chapters on how Donald Trump and the Founding Fathers are racist. Me and White Supremacy promises to take the readers on a step-by-step journey to do the work of “understanding their white privilege and participation in white supremacy.”

In previous years, Parkrose Middle Schoolers had a door decorating contest to celebrate Black History Month. Students decorated the halls with an array of Black Lives Matter slogans and symbols. Principal Annette Sweeney documented her support on social media, tweeting, “I’m so impressed by our students!  They did an incredible job with our Black History Month door decorating contest!” She also encouraged students to celebrate “Black History Spirit Week” by dressing up in the colors yellow, green and red.

In 2021, the Parkrose school district tweeted its support for the “We Walk: Black Walking Initiative.” The walking program was created to highlight the need for Black people to feel safe walking in public and help them “reclaim their space.” Participants were encouraged to walk throughout the Portland area during the month of February and share their experiences via social media.

Tweet from Parkrose School District

The Parkrose school district has a diverse student body, with a majority of its students being part of minority communities. For a district with such racial and cultural diversity, it would benefit the schools to unite their students by highlighting what makes them similar, rather than separating them by their differences. Families across racial backgrounds should be able to participate in school events and benefit equally from the resources the school has to offer.

The Parkrose School District and Parkrose Middle School did not respond to Libs of TikTok’s request for comment.

Slack banned Libs of TikTok and refuses to give us a reason

On Friday, Libs of TikTok received an email from Slack, the messaging platform we use for our journalism and business, notifying us that we had been terminated from their service. Slack claimed Libs of TikTok’s termination was for “violations of the Acceptable Use Policy.”

After seeing Seth Dillon’s tweet about the termination, Salesforce, who owns Slack, said they were “looking into” our termination. However, Salesforce quickly deleted their response.

Slack has refused to give Libs of TikTok an answer as to how we violated their Acceptable Use Policy. They claim that “If a violation of the policy is deliberate, repeated or presents a credible risk of harm to other users, our customers, the Services or any third parties, we may suspend or terminate your access.” If we had to guess the policy violation, it would be the one everybody tries getting us with: “activity that incites or encourages violence or hatred against individuals or groups.”

I believe the truth of our termination will come to light, just like it did with Twitter. Twitter suspended Libs of TikTok over and over again for “violating” their “hateful conduct policy” despite there never actually being any violations. It took months for the truth to finally come out after Elon Musk released the Twitter files, showing Twitter’s deliberate targeting of Libs of TikTok. Now, those who unjustly censored me and countless others are being forced to testify in front of Congress. The same will ring true for Slack and Salesforce, should they continue down the path of corporate wokiesm and senseless censorship.

Libs of TikTok simply reposts publicly available content, and our investigative journalism is duly covered under the First Amendment. Libs of TikTok is doing the work that journalists stopped doing a long time ago: exposing the truth, especially that which contradicts the mainstream narrative.

Over the last year, Libs of TikTok has focused on protecting the innocence of children by bringing to light the disturbing content and individuals that our children are being deliberately exposed to. We’ve used Slack to coordinate stories exposing hospitals performing gender-affirming surgeries on children, a superintendent who had sexual fantasies about minors, a preschool teacher creating OnlyFans content at school, a teacher giving students an assignment on masturbation, and countless drag events for children as young as 6 years old. Is protecting children a violation of Slack’s policies?

Despite breaking stories to expose those who are a danger to or actively harming children, I can guarantee you Slack has not suspended or terminated a single one of the people or organizations we have reported on. Slack does not actually care about “activity that incites or encourages violence or hatred against individuals or groups,” or Libs of TikTok would still be allowed to operate as our primary goal is to expose those who encourage harm to children.

It’s for this very reason I decided to use my platform to give parents an avenue to broach conversations about grooming with their children with my first children’s book, No More Secrets. As a result of announcing my book I received death threats. The response from the Left speaks volumes about their motivations.

No matter how many platforms they ban or suspend Libs of TikTok from, I will continue to shed light on darkness and hold a mirror to the Left.

Children should know that secrets are dangerous

A few years ago, when I created Libs of TikTok, it was an opportunity to expose the increasing pandemic of the attack on our children’s innocence. After noticing the videos I was finding were getting more frequent and also more aggressive, I decided it was time to do more than expose this darkness. It was time parents had a tool to help protect their children from predators, so I wrote a children’s book designed to do just that.

It’s called No More Secrets: The Candy Cavern. My book is a colorful, modern-day take on the classic, Little Red Riding Hood. It is a fun, beautifully illustrated and age-appropriate story about a sheep named Rose who starts second grade with a new teacher, Mr. Wooly. He suspiciously convinces his students to eat candy and treats everyday at school while telling them to keep it a secret from their parents. Mr. Wooly uses phrases like, “don’t worry about what your parents said,” “you can trust me,” and “my class is a safe space.” These are the very phrases that predators in authority positions use on children. Without a strong foundation of trust in her family, Rose may not have felt that twinge of uncertainty alarming her that something was off.

My hope is this book can help create that foundation of trust in your family and families across the country. That’s why I chose to partner with BRAVE Books whose mission is to help parents instill a love of truth and strong morality in their children so that they can withstand harmful progressive influences like the ones I expose on Libs of TikTok. As children surpass their toddler years, they begin launching into various social situations in which they no longer have their parents present. Whether it’s at school, sports practice, or a friend’s house, children reach the age where they must make decisions and discern on their own. That is why parents must instill strong morals and values in their children before they get launched into the real world.

My book teaches children to always trust their parents as the authority even when other adults try to tell them otherwise. Every parent should have this conversation with their children and this book will help families do that. I’m not stopping at every home, though. This book should be in every home and school across the country. After revealing my identity on national television, I’m ready to mobilize and work to put the big, bad wolves on the run!

Protect the innocence of the children in your life by getting my new book No More Secrets. Together we can stop the secrets and start the conversation.

AOC lied about me on the House floor in an unhinged tirade

On Monday, February 8, the Congressional House Intelligence Committee held a hearing on Twitter’s coordination with the FBI to suppress the infamous Hunter Biden laptop story. Yoel Roth, Twitter’s former head of Trust and Safety, was in attendance to testify. During Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s questioning of Roth, she decided to go on an unhinged tirade about yours truly: Libs of TikTok.

AOC asks Roth, “Are you aware that from August 11 to August 16, [Libs of TikTok] posted false information about Boston Children’s Hospital claiming that they were providing hysterectomies to children?”

Roth quickly responds with, “Yes, I am aware of that and other claims from the account.” When asked if Libs of TikTok is still on Twitter, Roth states, “Regrettably, yes it is.” Keep in mind Roth regrets that I’m allowed to be on Twitter when he himself has tweeted about whether or not high school students can “meaningfully consent to sex with teachers.” Maybe he hates me for *other* reasons. But I digress.

Yes, I am still on Twitter because, despite my numerous targeted suspensions from the platform, the Twitter Files revealed that I had not actually violated any Twitter policies.

In a bout of dangerous irony, AOC’s claim that Libs of TikTok spread “misinformation” about Boston Children's Hospital is in itself misinformation. The irony is multifaceted here, from the framing to the claim itself.

First off, AOC frames a hospital performing gender-affirming surgeries on children as an egregious accusation, especially if untrue. AOC claims that I maliciously made this up about Boston Children’s Hospital because of an “obsession with fixating and inciting violence against trans and LGBT people.” The truth of the matter is, claiming that a hospital is mutilating children to affirm their gender delusions is an egregious accusation and unfortunately, one that appears to be true about Boston Children’s Hospital.

While I already did a thorough deep-dive into the Boston Children’s Hospital situation back in September when the Media attempted to frame me for threats against the hospital, I’ll reiterate key points here since more lies are being entered into the Congressional House record.

  1. Boston Children’s Hospital's own website advertised gender-affirming surgeries for minors.

    Website for Boston Children’s Hospital
  2. The Journal of Clinical Medicine has thorough documentation that Boston Children’s Hospital not only offered gender-affirming surgeries on minors but performed 65 double-mastectomies on minors over the course of three years.

“The Center for Gender Surgery (CfGS) at Boston Children’s Hospital (BCH) was the first pediatric center in the United States to offer gender-affirming chest surgeries for individuals over 15 years old and genital surgeries for those over 17 years of age. In the four years since its inception, CfGS has completed over 300 gender-affirming surgeries.”

Additional materials from the study, which was approved by Boston Children’s Hospital reiterate their mutilation of minors:

A Single Center Case Series of Gender-Affirming Surgeries and the Evolution of a Specialty Anesthesia Team

  1. Boston Children’s Hospital's own videos state that they perform gender-affirming surgeries and that toddlers can be transgender.

While what AOC said about me on an official congressional record should be defamation, she’s unfortunately covered by legislative privilege. She has the ability to lie about me and run cover for Boston Children’s Hospital, all in an attempt to distract from the fact that the government through the FBI, coordinated with Twitter, a private company, to do what the FBI constitutionally could not: violate the First Amendment rights of those who dared to speak the truth.

It doesn’t bring me joy to report about the mutilation of children. It doesn’t bring me joy to report about grooming. It doesn’t bring me joy to report about children playing “dildo ring toss” at a pride event. In fact, it sickens me. It sickens me that not only are these things happening but there is a concerted effort to normalize these atrocities. I do however get immense joy from seeing people like AOC having a meltdown over my reporting because it only reiterates that my reporting is effective in pushing back against their agenda. They’re like vampires stepping out on a sunny day.

I have news for AOC: This congressional hearing is just the beginning. The veil has finally been lifted and the public is becoming more and more aware of the Democrats and three-letter agencies being in bed with Big Tech to silence anybody who challenges their narrative. And Sandy, you should be really careful about what you say about Libs of TikTok to the Media because you don’t have legislative privilege for smearing people on your news hits or social media. As for Yoel Roth, nothing brings me more satisfaction than knowing he’s triggered by Libs of TikTok’s existence on Twitter and there’s absolutely nothing he can do about it!

Minnesota school counselor offers chest binder for gender transition behind parents backs

1/30/2023

We’ve seen school officials nationwide instructed not to disclose students’ alternative pronoun use when talking to parents. We’ve seen other schools being directed to refrain from disclosing the chest-binding practices of students to their parents. Now, Libs of TikTok has obtained evidence that not only are schools keeping this information from parents and feeding students’ delusions that they can change their sex, but they are also facilitating potentially harmful transitioning practices.

A parent sent Libs of TikTok a picture of a flyer that was hung inside a school in Hopkins Public Schools District introducing Health Mentor Caroline Hickey, who offered a litany of LGBTQ counseling services.

We told Caroline that we were seeking hormones because of struggles with gender identity and that we didn’t want our parents to find out. Carlone made it overwhelmingly clear that she will not disclose any information to our parents and the interaction would not be reflected on our school record.  Then, this so-called health mentor proceeds to offer not only “further resources that might help [with a gender transition]” but also carrots “other options like the possibility of a free chest binder from myHealth.”

Chest binders are often touted as a relatively safe and necessary part of gender expression. However, these binders are not without serious risk. In one study of more than 1,200 participants, nearly 89% experienced at least one health problem caused by chest binding. Unsafe binding may lead to permanent deformation of the breasts, scarring, and lung constriction. Long-term binding may also adversely affect the outcome of a future mastectomy.

We wanted to know if parents at Hopkins Public Schools were made aware of the types of services offered to their children so we pressed Caroline further.

Hopkins High School’s website lists a wellness section that offers student counseling, but the website states it is “staffed by a Hopkins High School social worker and a therapist provided by a partnering nonprofit.”

Back in 2020, Hopkins Public schools announced its partnership with myHealth for Teens and Young adults on their Facebook page.

Caroline Hickey is listed as a Health Mentor at myHealth for Teens and Young adults.

According to myHealth’s website:

myHealth‘s Community Education Program provides educational presentations to middle to high-school age youth, young adults, parents, community members and professionals in over 100 separate locations and 20 school districts.

Remember, Caroline Hickey is a “health mentor” hired by the school, paid for by public tax dollars, offering a potentially harmful device to a young student without any input from parents.

We keep seeing the same thing over and over. Schools are actively attempting to side-step or outright replace parents. Do you want birth control, an abortion, a chest binder, or hormones? Tell your teacher. Your parents will never find out. Parents are kept in the dark, and it is causing an untold amount of damage to our kids.

A preschool para, Brenna Percy, at Wolf Swamp Road School in Longmeadow, Massachusetts appears to have filmed content for her OnlyFans on school grounds. OnlyFans, a subscriber-based creator platform, has skyrocketed in popularity due to its focus on adult-only content.

Brenna Percy was listed as a Wolf Swamp Road School staff member as of Wednesday morning, but the school has since removed her from their public website after Libs of TikTok contacted them with the photos.

When Libs of TikTok contacted the school to follow up, the secretary said “my jaw is on my desk.” She was absolutely mortified.

This afternoon, the superintendent contacted Libs of TikTok by phone and said “she [Brenna Percy] no longer works for Longmeadow Public Schools.”

WHISTLEBLOWER: South Carolina schools teaching CRT

1/23/2023

The Left will tell you that Critical Race Theory (CRT) isn’t being taught in universities and K-12 schools. They are lying to you. Critical Race Theory IS being taught and practiced in schools and universities around America. Whistleblower, Adam Mahdavi, a former student of the University of South Carolina School of Education, has come forward with evidence of how organizations are using deceptive tactics to sidestep parents and the state education standards to get CRT into the classroom.

Mr. Daniel Stetson’s classroom at Crayton Middle School, Richland One School District, South Carolina. Photographed by Adam Mahdavi during his internship requirement for the University of South Carolina’s School of Education.

One of the organizations working to secretly convince our children that white people are the root of all America’s problems is EL Education which partners with over 50 primary schools across the US by providing “professional development” and is funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. According to their website, EL Education states they are “guided by a vision of education equity and student potential, by a reimagined definition of student achievement, and offers research-proven resources and practices.” However, they are really guided by a cynical view of American ideals and are covertly force-feeding that view to our children. They are brainwashing our kids to believe that an individual, by virtue of his race or sex, is inherently racist and/or sexist and therefore oppressive – mainly white males.

In this video, Mahdavi speaks with Tarika Sullivan, Professional Development Specialist at EL Education who openly admits that her organization is working with several schools in South Carolina to quietly implement CRT and recruits co-conspirators to implement this ideology despite the laws of the state.

”My organization, we are working on a curriculum, but the curriculum, it is really about, and it's inclusive of culturally relevant teaching.  So some of the topics that we explore are going to be topics that kind of go against mainstream teaching.”

When we spoke with Mahdavi, he told us about how the University of South Carolina’s School of Education promoted these ideas and how students were penalized for speaking against the progressive narrative.

Libs of TikTok spoke with a South Carolina Freedom Caucus representative who explained,

“I think that's the big issue we're facing in South Carolina is more and more of our teachers are not seasoned teachers who have been there for a while who have not been inculcated in and completely institutionalized by the progressive college system.  I think that's why we see a minority of teachers in our system who are opposed to CRT. We are constantly getting kids who are coming out of college, and first-year teachers who, just left university systems that promulgate all of this stuff.  They brand it with all the buzzwords people like framing the conversation around equality and including people.”

Currently, there’s a group of sitting state lawmakers suing a South Carolina school district over allegations it is training staff to teach critical race theory, and they vow more lawsuits will follow for other schools and districts.

“We would receive calls and letters from concerned parents that their 8th-grade students were being assigned Stamped by Ibram X. Kendi. If it wasn’t assigned the teachers would have boxes of the book for students to take.” Sure enough, Mahdavi, who documented his experience in the South Carolina public school system, backed up parents’ claims.

These activist teachers like Sullivan are fully aware that parents do not want CRT being taught in schools and she doesn’t care. She proceeds to tell Mahdavi how to skirt around any language that would raise alarm bells.

“This is really heavy stuff for people who, as soon as they see this, they are turned off.  This is really academic for example culturally relevant pedagogy academically that's the term culturally relevant pedagogy but when we start walking into school doors we spend less time calling it that and more like respecting students' cultures or bringing the culture into the classroom.”

One of the disguises is to separate the term Critical Race Theory which is known as a legal concept from the doctrines’ implementation. Sullivan uses the term Culturally Relevant Teaching when referring to instruction.

Sullivan also highlights how this propaganda moves from the realm of academia and is put into practice in these elementary schools.

“I can talk about this in academic terms but once you start to apply it you probably use far less of these terms so for example culturally relevant pedagogy academically that's the term culturally relevant pedagogy but when we start walking into school doors we spend less time calling it that and more like [call CRT] respecting students cultures or bringing the culture into the classroom and honoring and respecting it so that that's probably how we make connections between the academic theory and practice”

One of the ways Sullivan suggests working CRT into the curriculum is by using “counter-narratives”.  For example, a fourth-grade class is reading the United States Constitution in which the critical race activist teacher gives slave narratives each day along with bits of the Constitution. These slave narratives serve to convince students to hold negative views on traditional American ideals.

As if we needed any more proof that organizations like EL Education are nefariously working to undermine parents and the American education system, Sullivan is actively recruiting “co-conspirators”, aka activist teachers,  to implement racist dogma in schools across the country.

Currently, South Carolina law has a provision in the budget that restricts funding for any CRT and related lesson plans in South Carolina. However, this provision is set to expire with the next budget bill.  Even if South Carolina’s legislators are successful in passing a CRT ban parents need to stay vigilant when there are organizations like EL Education that are constantly finding ways to circumvent the law and poison the minds of the next generation.
