Now open and running through December 29, 2024, Coca-Cola’s Classic Christmas is located at Remington Park in Oklahoma City.



It includes:

– Larger-Than-Life Light Display: 55,000 square feet of light sculptures, featuring exciting custom and interactive Coca-Cola-inspired displays.
– Market Square : Seasonal delights and shop for holiday gifts from a local assortment of vendors showcasing their wares.
– Ice Skating: Skate amidst the lights.

MAPS Multi-Purpose Stadium to start next year

Today Oklahoma City Council approved a real estate donation agreement with Echo to donate nine acres of land, located in the vicinity of South Shields Boulevard and SE 3rd Street, identified as the site for the MAPS 4 Multipurpose Stadium.



“Design is now underway on the Multipurpose Stadium, which will include a regulation-sized playing surface capable of accommodating high school, collegiate, and professional soccer competitions, football, as well as concerts, festivals and other similar events,” MAPS Program Manager David Todd said.

Cheba Hut opens in Uptown

The first Cheba Hut "Toasted" Subs location in Oklahoma has opened at 323 NW 23rd in Uptown, directly east of Dunkin Donuts.


Cheba Hut has a large following for its highly-regarded toasted subs. The OKC location also has a full bar with a roll-up window with outdoor seating for nice days.

Their locations are popular late-night spots, open daily 10 AM to midnight; 2 AM on Fridays and Saturdays.

The skating rink is now open at OAK at NW Expressway & Penn.




Win be operating through Jan 20th. Hours: M-Th 4-9P; F 4-10P; Sa Noon-10P; Sun Noon-9P.

Beautiful setting with many businesses open (Williams Sonoma, Pottery Barn, Lively Hotel, Cloud Puncher restaurant and bar, Arhaus, Capital Grille, Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar & Store, and Tempur-pedic) and more to come (Alo, Blue Mercury, RH Gallery, etc.).

Cox Center to be demolished in March

Through David Todd, Program Manager, the City of OKC today provided an update on the old Cox Center and the new arena planned for that site.




Todd said they have been working behind the scenes and when Prairie Surf Studio vacates Dec. 31st, work will start inside the building for such things as asbestos abatement.

The hope is to start demolition in March, and it will take 6-9 months to completely clear the structure.

The newly chosen architects will be working during demo to create the construction

Total Wine planning NW Expressway location

Total Wine & More is planning a location in the old Gold Gym’s space at 3625 NW Expressway just east of Portland.



In March, we were first to report the chain was planning a location in Moore. Afterward, their liquor license application was rejected by the ABLE commission, as state law does not allow out-of-state ownership.
