The use of state questions, whether placed on the ballot by the Legislature or by popular initiative, must be examined in the larger context of the strategic vision of how to best foster the welfare of the state articulated by our principal state political leaders, including the governor and the two chief legislative leaders.

Andrew SpiropoulosFormer Senior Counselor to the Speaker of the Oklahoma House of Representatives, Professor Spiropoulos previously clerked for Judge Danny Boggs of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and practiced law with the Chicago firm of Gardner, Carton & Douglas. He has been a Heritage Foundation Salvatori Fellow and is an adjunct scholar with the Oklahoma Council of Public Affairs, where he was named the 2011 Milton Friedman Distinguished Fellow.
