The Presiding OKGOP State Committee held their quarterly meeting today in Edmond. Among the business was a matter of party discipline. Rep. Harold Wright of Weatherford, who had significantly funded the campaign of a Democrat, was removed from his party leadership post by a nearly unanimous vote of the 122 members in attendance. Only one voice declared 'nay' on the voice vote. No action has been taken yet, on the House Republican Caucus secretary, Carol Bush, who actively campaigned for Democrat, Kendra Horn. Bush tried hard to make Horn look like a moderate centrist Democrat. But this week, Horn voted for Far-left Congresswoman, Nancy Pelosi, to be the next Speaker of the House. | Listen To The MP3 |
Horn defeated incumbent republican Congressman Steve Russell by a very slim margin. Bush should be dealt with even more severely because her assistance was a bigger impact and the Democrats scored an upset win in a very powerful elected office. | In other news:
