Now THIS is the kind of action needed in police departments. A junior officer, who did the right thing is being backed by her department. Meanwhile, a sergeant who attacked her for pulling him away from mistreating a suspect is on suspension pending "investigation."
Hats off to the officer and to her department leadership. We just hope that the department follows all the way through. Why do "investigations" of police, or other government employees, regarding simple matters take so long?
