• The Updated OK2A Candidate Survey (found on the home page of the OK2A website)
• OK2A wants to change the way Judges are appointed (will need a change to the Oklahoma constitution)
• Two republican legislators are not coming back next session – pay attention to all legislative races! We are focused on District 32 (Lawton) right now. A special election is coming up.
• Casey Wooley – GOP CD5 Vice Chair talked about personal liberties and legislating/limiting Emergency Powers
• OK2A is wanting legislation that will allow cameras in courtrooms so the people can observe proceedings.
• Big Announcement – on October 17, 2023, Jared Yannis of Guns N-Gadgets will be in Oklahoma City to speak at our October meeting.
