Good.

I hope people study the Emancipation Proclamation and understand what an empty, symbolic gesture it was that didn’t actually do anything.

Certainly all the people in Delaware who were slaves right up until the ratification of the 13th Amendment on December 6, 1865 were acutely aware of that fact.

If they had crystal balls, they would know that it was the equivalent of President Reagan issuing executive orders to demolish he Berlin Wall or to all lesbians to drive cars alone while wearing bikinis in Saudi Arabia.

We need a law like this at the federal level!

Additionally, the first sentence of the 14th Amendment (and the Snyder Act) should be repealed and we should make Naturalization and/or Federal Service the only means of achieving US citizenship.

Glad to support HB2030, which has now been signed by the Governor! The bill requires students to study the Constitution, Declaration of Independence, Emancipation Proclamation, Federalist Papers and other documents with significant history and heritage of the United States.

Connecticut is 6th state to end religious vaccine exemption
Good!

No one should be exempt from statutory law because of their chosen, personal beliefs.

It’s called upholding the equal protection provisions of the 14th Amendment.

‘Merica! ??❤️

Connecticut will no longer allow religious exemption from childhood immunization requirements for schools and day care facilities, becoming the sixth state to end that policy. The legislation, signed into law Wednesday by Gov. Ned Lamont, came hours after the Democratic-controlled Senate passed the....

Gov. Stitt signs legislation requiring students to pass citizenship test
We should repeal the first sentence of the 14th Amendment and make naturalization and/or Federal Service the only means of achieving US Citizenship.

The Snyder Act should also be repealed.

OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) - On Wednesday, Governor Stitt signed 28 House Bills and 28 Senate Bills into law. This includes House Bill 2030, which would require high school students to pass the United States’ naturalization test in order to graduate beginning in the 2022-23 school year.

Make up your mind, Oklahoma, ya drunk hypocrite! ?

Interesting when you consider that some states have inmates brought in from elsewhere.

The Constitution should be amended to no include anymore not eligible to vote.

Then again, we have the technology now to keep a running count instead of relying of people to voluntarily participate every 10 years.
