The Tulsa Area Republican Assembly held their Endorsement Convention tonight and returned some select endorsements in key Republican primaries. Scott McEachin gained a unanimous vote of support of the convention. Scott is known and respected among conservative politics for his steadfast support of constitutional law. As a Tulsa lawyer, he is seen as well prepared for the open house seat. Chuck Strohm has gained high marks in his 2 years of political service to the Jenks area district. The convention voted unanimously in favor of his endorsement. The TARA convention chose not to endorse in other area Republican primaries. The Primary election will be held next Tuesday, but early voting is open this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, at each county. In Tulsa County voters can go to the downtown Tulsa Election board office, or at Hardesty Regional Library, near 97th & Memorial Drive. (Thurs-Fri 9-6, Sat 9-2) |
June 21, 2016 Sgt. Luke Sherman, GOP Candidate for Tulsa County Sheriff, is proud to announce the endorsement of Cathy Costello, widow of murdered Oklahoma Labor Commissioner, Mark Costello. Their mentally ill son, Christian Costello, is accused of publicly murdering his father last year. Since that time, Cathy Costello has become a nationally-recognized advocate for mental illness reform. "Mental illness is the most serious and important issue facing our state," says Cathy Costello. "Oklahoma ranks 2nd in the U.S. for persons with a mental illness and 49th in mental health funding. 25% of our population suffers from a treatable condition that our prison system refuses to acknowledge despite the fact that more than 50% of inmates have a history of mental illness." Costello is endorsing Luke Sherman for Sheriff because of his diverse experience and history of advocating for mental illness reform which is sorely needed in the TCSO. With all the great nationwide success in homeschooling, and particularly the mid-western popularity of home and church education options, Liberals are doubling down their efforts to force the next generation to be educated by their statist faculty & fostering system. The Daily Caller gives us a hint at the battle lines forming around the home-educating family and how to respond. That progressive activists are targeting Christian education is no longer news. Christian colleges including Gordon in Massachusetts and King’s in New York have endured ideologically-driven accreditation investigations. Christian groups including InterVarsity have been challenged and sometimes de-recognized on secular campuses. Nor is ideological animus against the transmission of religious ideas limited to higher education alone. Consider the purposiveness with which some progressive standard-bearers now attack, of all things, homeschooling — that is, the practice now adopted by millions of American families for educating children outside of government institutions. Here as elsewhere in our examination of anti-Christian soldiers, the first salient fact is that progressive activists even have a lockstep position against homeschooling, rather than a diversity of views. Here as elsewhere, diversity is a thin word — whereas the thick reality of intolerance is something very different. For while “homeschooling” is the ostensible target, what irks today’s activists most is that the majority of homeschooled children are in Christian families. Homeschooling is one more lightning rod for the peculiarly intense hostility radiating from supposedly progressive quadrants.
8 conservative congressmen are in Tulsa, tonight; to make a case for Oklahoma to continue leading by sending folks like Jim Bridenstine to Congress.
Congressman Jim Bridenstine Announces Freedom Rally:
A guest opinion from the staff of Veterans Today...The Problem Of A Gullible Audienceby Jim W. Dean: What we are seeing with this folks, once again, is an attack on alternative media. It is a textbook media psyops that goes by the term, “Poison the well.” “They” have their hooks deep into Alt media, as they never could have let it remain independent and a solid counter to MSM. Do they every invite the likes of my staff of columnists to debate their shills on their networks? No… never… and for a good reason. It would not work out for them so well. But no dummies they, for short money (compared to regular media) they have shown they can drop stuff like this on us and it will take off like wildfire. Sure, their operatives are to blame, but so is the gullible audience, as there have been a long history of these. I remember way back when, the militia story (ADL maybe) about 2000 “barefoot” African troops at a military base in SC, Charleston I think, in a warehouse complex of UN-painted armored vehicles… the “advance guard” of a black invasion under NATO. That was my real first exposure as to how stupid Johnny lunch bucket could be… off the charts stupid. “They” used to use small fry, throw-away talent for stuff like this because there is an endless supply of them. But the evolution of Disinformation Planet and head psyops kahunaa you know who was ever more aggressive, as it showed they could even come out of the shadows to do this in plain sight. And despite their very spotty track record, the audience is still there. So the problem is not them, but the audience. Please share your thoughts as to why so many people could be so stupid as to believe this silly stuff. The worst part about it is when “they” view us as advanced plantation animals, who deserve the appropriate right for their real position on the food chain… they have some justification, due to these Pied Piper idiots. I think they should all have tattoos on their forehead… "Jade Helm – 2015"
