While there are many weeks left in the state legislative session, providing a modicum of hope that a school choice expansion bill may still emerge, last week’s defeat of Senate President Pro Tem Greg Treat’s proposed plan to empower families to educate their children as they choose cannot help but disappoint those who seek to better the lives of future generations of Oklahomans.
