Before migrants entered the United States through Del Rio, Texas, they came into Mexico via its southern border city of Tapachula. Tapachula, a city bordering Guatemala, has long been a weigh station for Central American migrants and now has tens of thousands of migrants wanting to reach the United States with an estimated half of them being from Haiti.
