Last weekend, Tunisian President Kais Saied dismissed the Prime Minister and suspended all activities by the parliament inciting protests with opposition leaders calling it a “coup”. President Saied has said this would only last thirty days but world leaders have voiced concerns urging calm and a quick return to democratic rule.
