Levi's announced that they will be using Ai generated models. In a move they described as diversity they are using the models to push their jeans. Is it diversity to replace black models with digital creations? This is the epitome of the digital blackface corporate media decries from everyday people. It's silly to say that sharing memes of black people is racist just as it's equally ridiculous to claim you stand for diversity while only using fake black Ai models. These companies don't even want to include the black faces they hope to exploit. I could care less who the model is for a company. I find it strange to hire someone based on the color of their skin. I'm also not an activist or a corporation looking to capitalize on the grievances of a particular group's culture.
