If you visit the State Capitol I encourage you to go take a look at the large mural that dominates both walls at the beginning of the west wing.  

There are a few things you might not notice at first glance of what is a truly beautiful piece of work:

1. If you view the mural from the west looking back to the rotunda it appears to be a morning scene but vice versa and it appears to be evening. Incredible work by the artist.
2.  In the lower left hand side of the south wall there is a tiny family of skunks.  
3. If you then look at the cloud formation on the north wall you get a rather startling and very modern ‘symbolism’. 

Long story on the mural and its financing that support item 2 and 3 possibly indicated what the artist thought of the politicians of the time. When I think of Lying Laura both 2 and 3 come to mind

While we are being “woke” where is the outrage over Nike

.. making record profits while employing—and paying a few dollars a day– what amounts to slave labor including underage children.  

I am waiting for the King of Wokeness LeBron James to announce he is ceasing his million dollar endorsement deal with Nike. I suspect I will be waiting until hell freezes over for Mr. Self Righteous to actually ‘walk the walk’.   

Only when we start to call out these self appointed saints for the true scam artists they are in reality will we end this period of darkness and divisiveness that they have sowed in this country.

Well, well the Biden war on oil and gas..

 and his re-entering the US into the debacle know as the Paris Climate Accord seems to be backfiring as his friends in China and Europe are driving the price of COAL to new highs.  

“Prices for thermal coal—which power plants burn to boil water into steam, spin turbines and generate electricity—have more than doubled over the past year.” WSJ 5/25/21

The conundrum for those who actually buy into the Paris Climate Accord is that many of those who signed it are in fact huge consumers of energy. The transition to ‘sustainable renewable’ energy is too costly to dump on their consumers where they would either be voted out or might face an internal coup in the case of China.

The Biden economic recovery is performing just as expected.   

Within all the ‘spin’ by Biden the Buffon’s administration here is the discouraging fact: “last week’s initial claims were higher than projected and claims overall remain higher than pre-pandemic levels”. 

The caste system of the Democrat economic approach where a large part of the population owes their ability to 'eat’ to the government is returning to Obama era levels even though there are record job openings.

Since I stopped writing on my FB page Real Fiscal Conservatism in Government on the market and other things financial I am going to comment occasionally on here. 

I am one of those who does not subscribe to the traditional retirement investment strategy. If you are so well funded that the yield of bonds and utility or financial stock dividends are sufficient to give you the lifestyle you desire for the several decades you hopefully will live, then good for you!! I am not one of those and my equity portfolio is based on a growth approach. Too risky you may say but let me share the basic rational.

Historically the market has returned slightly over 9.0% and the average recession has been around two years in length. In retirement after 72.5 years of age (some will still be under the 70.5 rule) you must make annual mandatory withdrawals (AMW). With those two factors in mind I hold two years worth of what I want in spending availability and remember in this strategy you must hold that two years of AMW at the minimum. Why?

Never be a seller in a recession (buyer’s market) and to make your AMW if you hold equities WITHOUT the prior advice you will be forced into that poor position. If you diversify well—which I will discuss my strategy on that in a post in the future—you can withdraw from your equity account at a rate high enough to give you a GROWING income while also growing your principal. 

Financial advisors are usually working from the same old script and I have seen far too many people put themselves into ‘survival income’ levels. You can have your cake and eat some of it too. PS I stopped writing on the other page because I had put my office number and email and the amount of progressive harassment was incredible. Progressives are a nasty hate filled group would be my assessment based on that experience.

Stopping Critical Race Theory

is NOT about funding any direct campaign. Do not buy the spin any think tank or ‘new grassroots’ organization wanting your money tells you on how they will stop it. 

The means to stop it in Oklahoma is already in our control. We have a Governor and a Legislature that will stop it IF we continue to pressure them.  

An election year is coming up and one of the first questions of any candidate to be your representative, senator and local school board member should be “Do you oppose CRT?” If the answer is “No” let them know that you will not only not vote for them but oppose them with your donations AND work for a candidate that does. 

The federal government is not in the position either legally or financially to enforce CRT and if you know the grant structure for Special Education and the School Lunch program–the two biggest fed programs in our schools—they will not be impacted by outlawing CRT. Any person or group that tells you otherwise has not ever worked with USDoE on the Special Ed grants or USDA on the lunch program. 

I grow sick of fund raising around fear mongering especially when it is a bogus boogie man they are using to try to open your wallet.  

As conservatives we need to focus our funding where we can make a difference in this next election. If the group wanting your funding has fancy buildings and lots of salaried employees you might want to keep 'your powder dry’.

Those who say that Tucker Carlson is ‘smoking something’ might want to read this story—read the whole thing before you write off the source—because it highlights a very, very odd situation where multiple people were killed but no one was charged.  

The behavior of members of the DOJ and FBI has stained these two institutions to the point that I will never assume that they are honest without substantive evidence supporting what they “claim”.  

A sad state of affairs when you can’t trust the nation’s top law enforcement agencies.

I guess the Democrats are OK with slave labor as long as it benefits Bidens’ buddy China.   

I am guessing the MSM has not reported that Democrats in mass voted to stop a Republican amendment that would have imposed sanctions for foreign entities that used forced labor, built detention camps, or provided technology for mass surveillance in the Uyghur Autonomous Region. It also included sanctions for foreign entities that undermined democratic institutions in Hong Kong. The amendment would have required companies to inform their shareholders if they engaged in activities with a Chinese official or company using forced labor.

Your party doesn’t seem very ‘progressive’ when they support slavery anywhere in the world.

Well Facebook fact checkers you once again prove to be anything but factual.   

The Oracle employee who did the work on contract tracing for the CDC died of COVID even though he was vaccinated in March for COVID.  

Did you add this to your “vaccine information center”? Or that we now know based on a very large Cleveland Clinic study that natural immunity is strong? Or that people have died or became seriously ill from the vaccines? 

Do you people have no guilt on having helped perpetrate a misinformation campaign that helped Fauci the Fraud shut down the economy and led to a huge increase in young peoples suicide attempts?

The leaders in the 2021 Neville Chamberlain award race is a dead heat between Beijing Biden and the WHOLE Democrat party. 

Some ‘lowlights’ of the report:

• “Uyghur detainees were subjected to numerous techniques recognized as physical and psychological torture by the international community, including being forced to hold stress positions, beatings, electric shocks, unlawful and agonizing restraints, solitary confinement, exposure to extremes of temperature, brainwashing, and being forced to write “confessions” of guilt. 
• A major focus of camp indoctrination was breaking the Uyghurs’ faith in their Islamic religion and converting them into communist zealots. The detainees were forced to monitor and report on each other and beaten merely for speaking their own language.
• Uyghurs were dragged from their homes and imprisoned arbitrarily, without even the minimal protections that would have been afforded by China’s totalitarian “criminal justice system. 
• The reported use of torture such as being chained to metal “tiger chairs,” a favorite Chinese Communist torture device that forces the victim to sit in a painful hunched position, for hours without food, water, or toilet breaks. Survivors recounted being chained to tiger chairs for 24 hours at a stretch, or hung from walls, for infractions as minor as asking a question in “class.” The larger concentration camps have “punishment rooms” with 20 or more tiger chairs where entire cell populations could be tortured at once.”
• You voted Democrat, you voted to continue this but I guess as long as Hunter Biden gets rich off the Chinese 'arrangement’ you are OK with it?
