Attorney General Merrick Garland was grilled by Republicans on Capitol Hill Wednesday; telling lawmakers the incidents that sparked the letter from the NSBA did “not involve threats of violence.”
“In most of the incidents in the letter did not involve threats of violence, did they?” asked Senator John Kennedy.
“I think that’s correct. Most of them did not,” said the Attorney General.
