A HIGHER CALLING: HOW ISRAELI MARIJUANA RESEARCH CHANGED THE WORLD
“The problem is that for many years, marijuana was put on the [same] scale as cocaine and morphine.”

As much of the world debates how to address marijuana use, the vast majority of American states have legalized it or allow it for medical purposes. Global pharmaceutical companies and hospitals seeking effective treatments using cannabis should look to Professor Raphael Mechoulam, a scientist at Hebrew University. Mechoulam, a pioneer in the field, was the first to isolate, analyze and synthesize the major psychoactive and non-psychoactive compounds in cannabis and has developed a number of revolutionary marijuana-related treatments.
Today, roughly 147 million people use medical marijuana for effective relief of various ailments, including AIDS, multiple sclerosis, Crohn’s disease, cancer treatment side effects and Parkinson’s. Experts believe these numbers will grow exponentially in the coming years, and Mechoulam is now widely recognized as the godfather of medical marijuana, the high priest of his field.
Oklahomans Shawn Jenkins & Ray Jennings addressed a packed hall at the Oklahoma State legislature on Wednesday, July 25th. Jenkins told of his son's severe health needs and how cannabis medicines have greatly improved his health, development, and quality of life.
Ray Jennings told of his fight with stage 4 cancer and how his family convinced him to try cannabis medicines when he was near death.
The State Health Dept. soon after appointed Jennings to the Food Safety & Packaging board for the Medical Marijuana Authority. Jennings goes into further details in this home video.
This is an edited interview of Dennis Hill and Ava Marie from her Spiral Up show. This video was created to demonstrate a possible edit of the footage.
Dennis Hill is a Biochemist and is a cancer survivor. Dennis's cancer was not treated with any of the established treatments (i.e. chemo or radiation). He treated his cancer with cannabis oil alone. You can read about his conclusions about how cannabis oil and cannabinoids cause cancer cells to die on his website.
This is a link to the original video footage.
This interview doesn't cover Dennis Hill's actual treatment. He does talks about this in more detail during his interview with Mike Boutin. http://cannabisnationradio.com/dennis...
In the original interview he does mention Rick Simpson.

The fact that cannabis is an active medicine for many diseases is now certain. But the effect of this medicine is rarely proven as hard as with this video by Billy Wieschollek. He suffers - and not too little - from the Tourette syndrome. Because of his gigantic violent tics he can hardly do anything ... until he smokes cannabis! The metamorphosis is incredible, look yourself. The tragedy is also that Billy is a German young man and that medicinal weed in that country is still mostly illegal children's shoes ...
The muscles of Billy shoot so quickly and so violently in spasms that a normal life is impossible. In the video you see what happens when he wants to make a cup of coffee or eat a croissant. It is sometimes quite funny to see, but of course deeply sad. But fortunately there is one medicine that turns this impossible life of Billy into 180 degrees: cannabis!
Now watch this shocking video of a Tourette patient before and after smoking his medicine:
Now they are a bit more conservative in Germany than we are with weed, although Billy is among the few Germans (a total of about a hundred people) who can officially use cannabis as a medicine. At the time of this video, Billy (then 28 years old) was at the edge of his financial abyss because he was not reimbursed for his 10 daily joints. That is also why he had himself filmed at his most vulnerable moments
...10 joints per day for its tics
Cautious improvements in Germany
The fact that cannabis works and that it is a shame that it is not yet allowed anywhere in the world as a medicine, makes this funny, moving and impressive film very clear. Incidentally, even in Germany the wind is turning gently with regard to medicinal cannabis, so the time that people / patients like Billy sometimes had to travel hundreds of kilometers to Dutch coffee shops for their medicine is hopefully also over.
The Tourette syndrome is a neuro-psychiatric disorder that is characterized by tics. These are uncontrolled, sudden, fast, recurring, non-rhythmic movements or sound. The active substances in cannabis can reduce tics or even stop them altogether. Tyler tells how that has worked out for him.
Tyler has been using CBD oil for a few months against Tourette's symptoms. He has tried different things and during his search for enlightenment Tyler heard from a friend about CBD. Unfortunately, he is not completely freed from the tics. But perhaps that has to do with the fact that he only uses CBD and not a cannabis product with all cannabinoids, such as the well-known German Tourette patient Billy .
Tyler is always happy with the effect. To his surprise, since he uses CBD a lot better, as can be seen in this video.UPDATE - I have been using CBD to quit smoking.
"This is the CBD I recommend": http://www.cbdpure.com?AFFID=331182
I suffer from Tourettes syndrome and have several ticks. Throughout the months I've been using CBD oil as an effective natural treatment.
CBD Hemp Oil is not the cure to Tourettes but it does help reduce my ticks and makes it easier to cope living with this disease.
I believe CBD Oil is a real medicine which should be promoted more regularly to others who live with life impairing diseases like myself.
Please feel free to comment and ask any questions because this is a sensitive topic for me.
My ticks were progressively getting worse for the last 2 years, until a friend of mine from my Tourettes support group recommend CBD Oil as a method to calm my ticks. Surprisingly, over the last few months it's really worked and that's why I'm a believer in CBD OIL.

October, 2008 - Born with Nail Patella Syndrome and faced with imminent death, Iowan George McMahon was offered a Cannabis (marijuana) cigarette in his hospital room and said "Yes". A week later he left the hospital and embarked on a journey that resulted in his inclusion in the U.S. government's "Compassionate IND" (Investigational New Drug) program. Today, he is one of only four Americans legally receiving the government-grown Cannabis.
The government has not been interested in evaluating the results of it's medicinal marijuana program, so Patients Out of Time commissioned a series of intensive physical and mental tests on the IND patients. The "Missoula Study" (Chronic Cannabis Use Study) results were presented at Patients Out of Time's 2002 Cannabis Therapeutics Conference and are available from their website: http://medicalcannabis.com.
Ervin Dargan conducted this interview from George's home in Livermore, Iowa. Special thanks to Patients Out of Time for making this video possible.
Three Veterans - one in Virginia, one in Kentucky and the third, in North Carolina. All three have seen combat up close. All three returned home, wounded, but not in such a way that you can easily tell.
Their wound cuts deep - to their very soul, or so it would seem. Post Traumatic Stress is perhaps the most devastating of battle wounds.
22 Veterans lose their lives to suicide every day, the direct result of PTS. Cannabis therapy is perhaps the most effective treatment. Unfortunately, Veterans living in states where cannabis is not legal cannot benefit from this holistic alternative to prescription drugs.
