Gov. Stitt Applauds Amicus Briefs Filed in U.S. Supreme Court Supporting Petition to Overturn McGirt | Welcome to Governor Stitt

Congress should dissolve all remaining Reservations; it’s long overdue. Otherwise, McGirt will spread to everywhere in the space between Mexico and Canada. This has created the equivalent of Federally sanctioned Sharia Law and a “separate and unequal” situation in cert areas that denies everyone, especially US Citizens, equal protection of the law as guaranteed by the 14th Amendment. It is quite upsetting that we have taken this giant leap backwards in which the Supreme Court has decreed & mandated that I, my family and millions of others _are_ to be discriminated against. Otherwise, if we are going to say that the dirt in question is still a Reservation by virtue of never having stopped being one, then everyone there without a CDIB card should move - by force if necessary. Gandhi & MLK would have already been marching in the streets and organizing boycotts…especially given the demographic most negatively affected by it, statistically speaking.
