Fast Food Loose Morals and Malicious Prosecution? Hunter Hunter and Kim Bailey Make the News

 Hunter Hunter....

Oh my, the curtain has been pulled back and has exposed one of the biggest RINOs in Oklahoma, Attorney General Mike Hunter. By now everyone has heard he is resigning as of Monday after filing for divorce from his wife of nearly 40 years, claiming a “personal matter” that will become a “distraction” has led him to resign for the good of the office. How noble... or not.

So Mr. Dirt Bag files for divorce on April 21st, claiming complete and irreconcilable incompatibility has destroyed the legitimate aims of the marriage. Is that what we are now calling cheating on your spouse? And really, filing first when the injured spouse ought to do so, trying to blame the missus maybe?

Tulsa Police Officer Leaves a Quarter Million on the Table. Why?

5/23/2021

Sometimes the story is more about what isn't printed than what is printed.  That appears to be the case on the story coming out of Tulsa last week on a retiring police officer, Sean "Sticks" Larkin.   The story goes on about  Larkin's history, a bit of whining about good cops being called bad cops, but the interesting thing is the part about retiring after 24.5 years from the Tulsa Police Department.

24.5 years.... what is the significance of that?  Read the two text messages below.

Is the Oklahoma Legislature Finally Beginning to Follow the GOP Party Platform?

5/16/2021

This excellent article by Jamison Faught gives the details of the state budget agreement for this year and despite a few failings we must say adults must be back in charge of the legislature because the budget was generally reasonable as was the session in general this year.

The early agreements between the legislature and Governor Stitt appear to have managed to maintain core funding and replenish the State Rainy Day Fund for 2022, spending a record 8.3 billion dollars.

Mayes County Chapter of Monster Inc is About to be Exposed

You all remember the Paulsen case up in Wagoner County where the corrupt and alleged child abusing Wagoner County Commissioner James Hanning had used the offices of the D.A. and sheriff office to punish and harass the young business partner that he had taken advantage of and possibly embezzled a huge amount of money from. The case had spilled over into Mayes County after Paulsen had been stopped for speeding, was a few days late on his license renewal and got his car towed and his weapon seized until he could fix his license after the holiday weekend and get the car back.

Volunteers are needed for work at the GOP Headquarters. Leslie Tolliver NesSmith is in charge of this project and she needs a lot of help. There is a ton of sorting, organizing, small repairs, inventorying, you name it and it probably needs done.

If you are interested in helping just send us an email at soonerteaparty@gmail.com, tell us what kind of skills you have or if you can help with sorting, inventorying, and organizing stuff. Let us know what your schedule is like too so we can plan some work days or just organize a small project for you to do when you have the time. HB 1775 Passes

The good folks over at the Muskogee Politico did a good story on HB 1775 so we are going to link to that and provide some comments. The bill basically outlaws the teaching of Critical Race Theory and other radical agendas in the public schools and universities.

First, what a change we are seeing in both our House and our Senate from the dismal days of 2010 when the Tea Party first slammed into the Oklahoma legislature. We are seeing legislation like this being passed and each year the legislature is becoming more and more conservative. And Governor Stitt did us proud in signing this. We didn't support him in the primary but are we glad he turned out to be very conservative. Crow never tasted this good.

What to do with AJ Ferate?

5/2/2021

The Sooner Tea Party has written a good half dozen stories about the long “serving” GOP general counsel AJ Ferate, covering his corrupt shenanigans before and at State GOP Conventions, conflicts of interest that he involved himself into like the candidate challenges where two GOP primary candidates are at the Election Board with Ferate representing one of the sides, and the notorious attack on President Trump back in early January of this year. We are no fan of this dude, make no mistake about that.

Yet like the rash on a baby's butt we find ourselves writing again about Ferate because the slow turnover to the incoming GOP Chairman has generated a small debate over tossing the guy out on his ear or keeping him around in a lesser position. Ugh, a Hobson's choice rears its head.
