Minnesota school counselor offers chest binder for gender transition behind parents backs

1/30/2023

We’ve seen school officials nationwide instructed not to disclose students’ alternative pronoun use when talking to parents. We’ve seen other schools being directed to refrain from disclosing the chest-binding practices of students to their parents. Now, Libs of TikTok has obtained evidence that not only are schools keeping this information from parents and feeding students’ delusions that they can change their sex, but they are also facilitating potentially harmful transitioning practices.

A parent sent Libs of TikTok a picture of a flyer that was hung inside a school in Hopkins Public Schools District introducing Health Mentor Caroline Hickey, who offered a litany of LGBTQ counseling services.

We decided to reach out to the number provided and pose as a student in the Hopkins School District. We told Caroline that we were seeking hormones because of struggles with gender identity and that we didn’t want our parents to find out. Carlone made it overwhelmingly clear that she will not disclose any information to our parents and the interaction would not be reflected on our school record.  Then, this so-called health mentor proceeds to offer not only “further resources that might help [with a gender transition]” but also carrots “other options like the possibility of a free chest binder from myHealth.”

Libs of TikTok conversation with Caroline Hickey

Chest binders are often touted as a relatively safe and necessary part of gender expression. However, these binders are not without serious risk. In one study of more than 1,200 participants, nearly 89% experienced at least one health problem caused by chest binding. Unsafe binding may lead to permanent deformation of the breasts, scarring, and lung constriction. Long-term binding may also adversely affect the outcome of a future mastectomy.

We wanted to know if parents at Hopkins Public Schools were made aware of the types of services offered to their children so we pressed Caroline further.

Hopkins High School’s website lists a wellness section that offers student counseling, but the website states it is “staffed by a Hopkins High School social worker and a therapist provided by a partnering nonprofit.”

Back in 2020, Hopkins Public schools announced its partnership with myHealth for Teens and Young adults on their Facebook page.

Caroline Hickey is listed as a Health Mentor at myHealth for Teens and Young adults.

Caroline Hickey’s LinkedIn

According to myHealth’s website:

myHealth‘s Community Education Program provides educational presentations to middle to high-school age youth, young adults, parents, community members and professionals in over 100 separate locations and 20 school districts.

Remember, Caroline Hickey is a “health mentor” hired by the school, paid for by public tax dollars, offering a potentially harmful device to a young student without any input from parents.

We keep seeing the same thing over and over. Schools are actively attempting to side-step or outright replace parents. Do you want birth control, an abortion, a chest binder, or hormones? Tell your teacher. Your parents will never find out. Parents are kept in the dark, and it is causing an untold amount of damage to our kids.

Hopkins Public Schools did not respond to Libs of TikTok’s request for comment.

A preschool para, Brenna Percy, at Wolf Swamp Road School in Longmeadow, Massachusetts appears to have filmed content for her OnlyFans on school grounds. OnlyFans, a subscriber-based creator platform, has skyrocketed in popularity due to its focus on adult-only content.

Brenna Percy was listed as a Wolf Swamp Road School staff member as of Wednesday morning, but the school has since removed her from their public website after Libs of TikTok contacted them with the photos.

Libs of TikTok was tipped off about the OnlyFans content and immediately contacted the school.

When Libs of TikTok contacted the school to follow up, the secretary said “my jaw is on my desk.” She was absolutely mortified.

This afternoon, the superintendent contacted Libs of TikTok by phone and said “she [Brenna Percy] no longer works for Longmeadow Public Schools.”

WHISTLEBLOWER: South Carolina schools teaching CRT

1/23/2023

The Left will tell you that Critical Race Theory (CRT) isn’t being taught in universities and K-12 schools. They are lying to you. Critical Race Theory IS being taught and practiced in schools and universities around America. Whistleblower, Adam Mahdavi, a former student of the University of South Carolina School of Education, has come forward with evidence of how organizations are using deceptive tactics to sidestep parents and the state education standards to get CRT into the classroom.

Mr. Daniel Stetson’s classroom at Crayton Middle School, Richland One School District, South Carolina. Photographed by Adam Mahdavi during his internship requirement for the University of South Carolina’s School of Education.

One of the organizations working to secretly convince our children that white people are the root of all America’s problems is EL Education which partners with over 50 primary schools across the US by providing “professional development” and is funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. According to their website, EL Education states they are “guided by a vision of education equity and student potential, by a reimagined definition of student achievement, and offers research-proven resources and practices.” However, they are really guided by a cynical view of American ideals and are covertly force-feeding that view to our children. They are brainwashing our kids to believe that an individual, by virtue of his race or sex, is inherently racist and/or sexist and therefore oppressive – mainly white males.

In this video, Mahdavi speaks with Tarika Sullivan, Professional Development Specialist at EL Education who openly admits that her organization is working with several schools in South Carolina to quietly implement CRT and recruits co-conspirators to implement this ideology despite the laws of the state.

”My organization, we are working on a curriculum, but the curriculum, it is really about, and it's inclusive of culturally relevant teaching.  So some of the topics that we explore are going to be topics that kind of go against mainstream teaching.”

EL Education’s partner schools across the U.S.

When we spoke with Mahdavi, he told us about how the University of South Carolina’s School of Education promoted these ideas and how students were penalized for speaking against the progressive narrative.

Libs of TikTok spoke with a South Carolina Freedom Caucus representative who explained,

“I think that's the big issue we're facing in South Carolina is more and more of our teachers are not seasoned teachers who have been there for a while who have not been inculcated in and completely institutionalized by the progressive college system.  I think that's why we see a minority of teachers in our system who are opposed to CRT. We are constantly getting kids who are coming out of college, and first-year teachers who, just left university systems that promulgate all of this stuff.  They brand it with all the buzzwords people like framing the conversation around equality and including people.”

Currently, there’s a group of sitting state lawmakers suing a South Carolina school district over allegations it is training staff to teach critical race theory, and they vow more lawsuits will follow for other schools and districts.

“We would receive calls and letters from concerned parents that their 8th-grade students were being assigned Stamped by Ibram X. Kendi. If it wasn’t assigned the teachers would have boxes of the book for students to take.” Sure enough, Mahdavi, who documented his experience in the South Carolina public school system, backed up parents’ claims.

These activist teachers like Sullivan are fully aware that parents do not want CRT being taught in schools and she doesn’t care. She proceeds to tell Mahdavi how to skirt around any language that would raise alarm bells.

“This is really heavy stuff for people who, as soon as they see this, they are turned off.  This is really academic for example culturally relevant pedagogy academically that's the term culturally relevant pedagogy but when we start walking into school doors we spend less time calling it that and more like respecting students' cultures or bringing the culture into the classroom.”

One of the disguises is to separate the term Critical Race Theory which is known as a legal concept from the doctrines’ implementation. Sullivan uses the term Culturally Relevant Teaching when referring to instruction.

Sullivan also highlights how this propaganda moves from the realm of academia and is put into practice in these elementary schools.

“I can talk about this in academic terms but once you start to apply it you probably use far less of these terms so for example culturally relevant pedagogy academically that's the term culturally relevant pedagogy but when we start walking into school doors we spend less time calling it that and more like [call CRT] respecting students cultures or bringing the culture into the classroom and honoring and respecting it so that that's probably how we make connections between the academic theory and practice”

One of the ways Sullivan suggests working CRT into the curriculum is by using “counter-narratives”.  For example, a fourth-grade class is reading the United States Constitution in which the critical race activist teacher gives slave narratives each day along with bits of the Constitution. These slave narratives serve to convince students to hold negative views on traditional American ideals.

As if we needed any more proof that organizations like EL Education are nefariously working to undermine parents and the American education system, Sullivan is actively recruiting “co-conspirators”, aka activist teachers,  to implement racist dogma in schools across the country.

Currently, South Carolina law has a provision in the budget that restricts funding for any CRT and related lesson plans in South Carolina. However, this provision is set to expire with the next budget bill.  Even if South Carolina’s legislators are successful in passing a CRT ban parents need to stay vigilant when there are organizations like EL Education that are constantly finding ways to circumvent the law and poison the minds of the next generation.

SCOOP: Missouri middle schools took students to drag show without parental consent

1/19/2023

Every year since 2014, the City of Columbia, MO, hosts their Columbia Values Diversity Breakfast. At this year’s annual celebration, they topped off the celebration with a drag performance from Nclusion+, all with children in the audience.

According to the city’s website, the event “typically features a breakfast, award presentation, artistic celebrations, and keynote addresses. The Celebration is coordinated by the City’s Office of Cultural Affairs and enjoys the support of many community volunteers and sponsors.”

However, the City of Columbia had middle school students, from at least three schools, in attendance and allegedly never informed parents about the drag queen portion of the program.

A permission slip sent to Smithton Middle School parents failed to make any mention a drag performance or Nclusion+.

Outraged parents contacted Libs of TikTok after Columbia Public Schools Board President, David Seamon, dismissed their concerns.  The email stated, “other than the keynote speaker most of the program is unknown to the public.”

Libs of TikTok reached out to the school district and we received a similar response.

The school’s response to Libs of TikTok’s request for comment.

There is one giant problem with that explanation: The city’s own website notes that Nclusion+ would be performing.

“The 2023 Columbia Values Diversity Celebration will take place on Jan. 19, 2023, from 7 – 9 a.m. at the Holiday Inn Expo Center, featuring keynote speaker Renee Montgomery and entertainment by Nclusion+.”

City of Columbia's website event announcement

Take a look at the Nclusion+ website. They are an organization that specializes in drag performances.

Nclusion+ homepage

Do you mean to tell me that Columbia Public School Board wasn’t aware of the performance which was stated on the City of Columbia’s website? Worse yet, the City of Columbia has been hosting the event for years and routinely invites students and thought it was appropriate to book a drag show.

One parent who spoke with Libs of TikTok said, “I am appalled with Columbia Public Schools thinking it's appropriate for children to attend a drag show. I am even more disturbed that our Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent of Secondary, school administrators and school board members were present and let it happen. Especially when, parents were not told their kids were going to a drag show.”

Circled: Colombia Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Brian Yearwood at the event.

Several school officials were allegedly in attendance and did nothing to stop the show while knowing there were children present. These are the people who you entrust with your children in your absence.

The school administrators and city officials who sign off on these drag shows know full well that drag is inappropriate and that parents will rightfully object. That is why they feel the need to hide it. Yet they keep doing it anyway while assuming no responsibility.

REVEALED: California school district facilitating gender transitions on children without parental consent

1/6/2023

Documents obtained through a recent FOIA request reveal that a California school district partnered with a healthcare facility to provide children with gender transition hormones and surgeries without parental consent. The school district, DJUSD and CommuniCare are providing these services under the guise of a “mental health program” for K-12 students. According to CommuniCare’s website, they offer cross-sex hormone medications like testosterone, estradiol, and spironolactone, letters for medical clearance to undergo transition surgeries, and assistance with legal name and gender documents.

Libs of TikTok found through examining several school contracts between DJUSD and CommuniCare, the clinicians must obtain written parental consent for limited primary health care BUT makes an exception for “confidential sexual and reproductive health services” for students. So basically, the school, in conjunction with clinicians, can provide sexual health services to minors without informing parents.

After becoming suspicious of the program, one parent submitted a FOIA request in an effort to get to the bottom of how deeply the school was involved in the gender transitions of students and what this program really entailed.

Sure enough, the FOIA request revealed that DJUSD will allow students as young as 12 years old to be treated by CommuniCare clinicians regarding their gender transition, and parents will not be notified unless the child consents!

“If a student is 12 or older and consents, a parent/guardian will be provided with the name of the clinician seen by the student.”

You might ask, who is funding these services? The K-12 Partnership is funded through the Mental Health Student Services Act (MHSSA) - aka California taxpayer money. CommuniCare is receiving funding from Yolo County Health & Human Services which was awarded the grant and is responsible for distributing funding to promote this program in schools. If you live in California, your tax dollars are funding secret gender transitions of kids in state-run schools.

We spoke with several outraged parents in the school district over the program. One parent summed up her reaction to learning about this program; â€œI am horrified that my child can receive counseling and medication to begin transitioning at school. It’s my kid, not theirs. Consent is needed for basic care but when it comes to decisions that will have ramifications for the rest of their lives, they don’t require our consent. They don't even let us know.”

Another concerned mother spoke to Libs of TikTok regarding the program saying, “Once our kids are connected with these community centers we are virtually helpless. They are offering these groups and legal services to our children who aren’t even teenagers.”

One of the programs offered to patients of CommuniCare Health Centers is Elevate Queer Yolo, which they describe as a free program “celebrating & elevating queer young adults ages 12-26+ in Yolo County, CA.” They also advertise that they offer gender and name change clinics.

Yolo Rainbow Families director, Anoosh Joriorian, released a video on CommuniCare’s Elevate Queer’s Facebook page labeling parents’ concerns about this program as “promoted ignorant and dangerous disinformation” and “right-wing transphobic propaganda.” Yet, she is the one spreading dangerous information by failing to mention the harm of gender-affirming care on minors.

Libs of TikTok reached out to the school district and CommuniCare for comment,  however, we have yet to receive a response.
