Former Democratic Congresswoman and presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard has been confirmed to serve as Donald Trump’s Director of National Intelligence.

The vote passed down party-lines, 52 to 46.

President Trump released new details about his plan to take over the Gaza Strip from Israel Thursday morning, saying the project would be the “one of the greatest and most spectacular developments of its kind.”

No soldiers by the U.S. would be needed! Stability for the region would reign!!!” posted Trump on Truth Social.

Donald Trump shocked the world Tuesday when he announced his administration’s intention to “take over” the Gaza Strip from Israel; upending 80 years of US foreign policy in the Middle East.

“The U.S. will take over the Gaza Strip, and we will do a job with it too,” Trump said. “We’ll own it and be responsible for dismantling all of the dangerous unexploded bombs and other weapons on the site, level the site, and get rid of the destroyed buildings, level it out, create an economic development that will supply unlimited numbers of jobs.”

The Trump administration paused a 25% tariff on Mexican goods Monday after the nation’s leader agreed to deploy 10,000 troops to the US-Mexico border.

Mexico has agreed to deploy 10,000 troops to the U.S.-Mexico border in exchange for a one-month delay on President Donald Trump’s threatened tariffs, Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum said Monday.

Sheinbaum made the announcement on social media Monday morning, roughly 12 hours before the tariffs were set to take effect. Trump and Sheinbaum spoke on Monday and agreed that Mexico will do more to combat drug trafficking into the U.S., and that the U.S. will step up efforts to block the flow of firearms into Mexico.

Sheinbaum also said officials with the U.S. and Mexico were beginning talks on wider trade and security issues.

President Trump briefed reporters at the White House Thursday morning just hours after a commercial passenger plane collided with a military helicopter while landing in Washington, DC, likely killing all 67 people aboard the two aircraft.  

“A group within the FAA determined that the workforce was too white, then they had concerted efforts to get the administration to change that and to change it immediately,” Trump said. “This was in the Obama administration.”

“Brilliant people have to be in those positions,” Trump said.

“I changed the Obama standards from very mediocre at best to extraordinary,” Trump said at a press conference. “Only the highest aptitude. They have to be the highest intellect and psychological aptitude that were allowed to be qualified for air traffic controllers.”

President Trump made Columbia fold like a cheap suit. After President Petro of Colombia denied a flight of deported Colombian nationals, President Trump released the kraken. He threatened 50% tariffs and a travel ban on all Colombian government officials, allies, and supporters. Well, Columbia immediately agreed to take the deported migrants.

Trump-hating journalist Jim Acosta quit CNN Tuesday morning after the failing network effectively removed him from the schedule.

The outlet reportedly offered him a timeslot at midnight, a swap from his 10am program that many considered a significant demotion.
