July 31: The Bishop Who Stopped A Pagan Army With Alleluia!

On this day in the blessed year of our Lord 448 AD, Saint Germanus of Auxerre died.

Born at Auxerre in 378 AD, Germanus (also known as Germain) studied law at Rome and became a lawyer. He married a Roman noblewoman, and rose to the attention of Emperor Honorius, who appointed him to be a governor for his province in Gaul (now France).

The bishop of Auxerre at the time was Saint Amator (344 AD - 418 AD). The Lord told Bishop Amator that he would die soon and that Governor Germanus would succeed him. The bishop immediately visited the Prefect of Gaul (the superior office for Germanus) and asked permission for Germanus to be made a member of his clergy — which was granted. When Germanus next entered the church with the congregation, Bishop Amator had the church doors locked, and had the tonsure given to Germanus against his will in front of the crowd — and announced that Germanus would be the next bishop of Auxerre.

Germanus did not dare to resist — but instead sold his possessions at once, and gave his land to the church, and adopted a life of penance. He became known among the local people for miracles, like healing the sick. He tried to conceal it but was forced to exorcise demons in public on occasion — and so his reputations spread. In addition, he directed the founding of a monastery, dedicated to Saint Cosmas and Saint Damian, on the banks of the Yonne River.

In 429, he was sent by a council of bishops to Britain to combat the Pelagian heresy which was popular there — along with St. Lupus, the Bishop of Troyes. (Along with them traveled St. Patrick, the Apostle of Ireland, who was part of their retinue at this time.) Both them preached throughout England. Finally, Germanus and Lupus got the opportunity to debate the British clergy about Pelagianism at a public gathering before a huge crowd near the grave of Saint Alban. After the heretics had explained their position, the two holy bishops responded with such skill and power that the Pelagians could form no adequate defense, and the crowd were convinced of the orthodox faith.   

Soon after this debate, Germanus healed the blind daughter of a military officer — and the miracle was widely reported. He also visited the grave of Saint Alban, the first martyr of Britain — and wrote down the first account of Alban’s life after he was told the story in a vision.

Germanus performed another miracle by saving an army of Britons in North Wales from a marauding party of Picts and Saxons. With the pagan pirates approaching, the saint chose to lead the Christian army in the field of battle. He marched them to a valley between two high mountains, and then commanded the soldiers to shout once he gave the signal. As the enemy drew near, Germanus cried out “Alleluia!” three times — and then had the army of Britons shout. The echo was so loud that the pagans feared a much greater force was upon them — and so they fled for their lives, leaving behind their arms and treasure.

This event is known as the “Alleluia victory” against the Saxons.

On his return to Gaul, he healed the sick wife of the prefect of Gaul, and stopped the general of a barbarian army from destroying his hometown province.

He died on July 31 while he was in Ravenna, Italy — pleading for the citizens of his province who were in revolt from the Roman government — in 450 AD.

His body was buried in Auxerre in a church which later became the Benedictine abbey known as St. Germain's.

Note: Archbishop Vigano’s second open letter to President Trump was published on October 25th, 2022 — just before the election. In this letter Archbishop Vigano explicitly names the children of darkness: Bill Gates, the WEF, and the like. He also names their schemes — such as the Great Reset and Event 201. Mr. President,

Allow me to address you at this hour in which the fate of the whole world is being threatened by a global conspiracy against God and humanity.

I write to you as an Archbishop, as a Successor of the Apostles, as the former Apostolic Nuncio to the United States of America.

I am writing to you in the midst of the silence of both civil and religious authorities.

May you accept these words of mine as the “voice of one crying out in the desert”.

As I said when I wrote my letter to you in June, this historical moment sees the forces of Evil aligned in a battle without quarter against the forces of Good; forces of Evil that appear powerful and organized as they oppose the children of Light, who are disoriented and disorganized, abandoned by their temporal and spiritual leaders.

Daily we sense the attacks multiplying of those who want to destroy the very basis of society: the natural family, respect for human life, love of country, freedom of education and business.

We see heads of nations and religious leaders pandering to this suicide of Western culture and its Christian soul, while the fundamental rights of citizens and believers are denied in the name of a health emergency that is revealing itself more and more fully as instrumental to the establishment of an inhuman faceless tyranny.

A global plan called the Great Reset is underway.

Its architect is a global élite that wants to subdue all of humanity, imposing coercive measures with which to drastically limit individual freedoms and those of entire populations.

In several nations this plan has already been approved and financed; in others it is still in an early stage.

Behind the world leaders who are the accomplices and executors of this infernal project, there are unscrupulous characters who finance the World Economic Forum and Event 201, promoting their agenda.

The purpose of the Great Reset is the imposition of a health dictatorship aiming at the imposition of liberticidal measures, hidden behind tempting promises of ensuring a universal income and cancelling individual debt.

The price of these concessions from the International Monetary Fund will be the renunciation of private property and adherence to a program of vaccination against Covid-19 and Covid-21 promoted by Bill Gates with the collaboration of the main pharmaceutical groups.

Beyond the enormous economic interests that motivate the promoters of the Great Reset, the imposition of the vaccination will be accompanied by the requirement of a health passport and a digital ID, with the consequent contact tracing of the population of the entire world.

Those who do not accept these measures will be confined in detention camps or placed under house arrest, and all their assets will be confiscated.

Mr. President, I imagine that you are already aware that in some countries the Great Reset will be activated between the end of this year and the first trimester of 2021.

For this purpose, further lockdowns are planned, which will be officially justified by a supposed second and third wave of the pandemic.

You are well aware of the means that have been deployed to sow panic and legitimize draconian limitations on individual liberties, artfully provoking a world-wide economic crisis.

In the intentions of its architects, this crisis will serve to make the recourse of nations to the Great Reset irreversible, thereby giving the final blow to a world whose existence and very memory they want to completely cancel.

But this world, Mr. President, includes people, affections, institutions, faith, culture, traditions, and ideals: people and values that do not act like automatons, who do not obey like machines, because they are endowed with a soul and a heart, because they are tied together by a spiritual bond that draws its strength from above, from that God that our adversaries want to challenge, just as Lucifer did at the beginning of time with his “non serviam.” [Note: the Latin words mean “I will not serve,” by which Lucifer meant “I will not serve God.”]

Many people — as we well know — are annoyed by this reference to the clash between Good and Evil and the use of “apocalyptic” overtones, which according to them exasperates spirits and sharpens divisions.

It is not surprising that the enemy is angered at being discovered just when he believes he has reached the citadel he seeks to conquer undisturbed.

What is surprising, however, is that there is no one to sound the alarm.

The reaction of the deep state to those who denounce its plan is broken and incoherent, but understandable.

Just when the complicity of the mainstream media had succeeded in making the transition to the New World Order almost painless and unnoticed, all sorts of deceptions, scandals and crimes are coming to light.

Until a few months ago, it was easy to smear as “conspiracy theorists” those who denounced these terrible plans, which we now see being carried out down to the smallest detail.

No one, up until last February, would ever have thought that, in all of our cities, citizens would be arrested simply for wanting to walk down the street, to breathe, to want to keep their business open, to want to go to church on Sunday.

Yet now it is happening all over the world, even in picture-postcard Italy that many Americans consider to be a small enchanted country, with its ancient monuments, its churches, its charming cities, its characteristic villages.

And while the politicians are barricaded inside their palaces promulgating decrees like Persian satraps, businesses are failing, shops are closing, and people are prevented from living, traveling, working, and praying.

The disastrous psychological consequences of this operation are already being seen, beginning with the suicides of desperate entrepreneurs and of our children, segregated from friends and classmates, told to follow their classes while sitting at home alone in front of a computer.

In Sacred Scripture, Saint Paul speaks to us of “the one who opposes” the manifestation of the mystery of iniquity, the kathèkon (2 Thess 2:6-7).

In the religious sphere, this obstacle to evil is the Church, and in particular the papacy; in the political sphere, it is those who impede the establishment of the New World Order.

As is now clear, the one who occupies the Chair of Peter has betrayed his role from the very beginning in order to defend and promote the globalist ideology, supporting the agenda of the deep church, who chose him from its ranks.

Mr. President, you have clearly stated that you want to defend the nation — One Nation under God, fundamental liberties, and non-negotiable values that are denied and fought against today.

It is you, dear President, who are “the one who opposes” the deep state, the final assault of the children of darkness.

For this reason, it is necessary that all people of good will be persuaded of the epochal importance of the imminent election: not so much for the sake of this or that political program, but because of the general inspiration of your action that best embodies – in this particular historical context – that world, our world, which they want to cancel by means of the lockdown.

Your adversary is also our adversary: it is the Enemy of the human race, He who is “a murderer from the beginning” (Jn 8:44).

Around you are gathered with faith and courage those who consider you the final garrison against the world dictatorship.

The alternative is to vote for a person who is manipulated by the deep state, gravely compromised by scandals and corruption, who will do to the United States what Jorge Mario Bergoglio is doing to the Church, Prime Minister Conte to Italy, President Macron to France, Prime Minister Sanchez to Spain, and so on.

The blackmailable nature of Joe Biden — just like that of the prelates of the Vatican’s “magic circle” — will expose him to be used unscrupulously, allowing illegitimate powers to interfere in both domestic politics as well as international balances.

It is obvious that those who manipulate him already have someone worse than him ready, with whom they will replace him as soon as the opportunity arises.

And yet, in the midst of this bleak picture, this apparently unstoppable advance of the “Invisible Enemy,” an element of hope emerges.

The adversary does not know how to love, and it does not understand that it is not enough to assure a universal income or to cancel mortgages in order to subjugate the masses and convince them to be branded like cattle.

This people, which for too long has endured the abuses of a hateful and tyrannical power, is rediscovering that it has a soul; it is understanding that it is not willing to exchange its freedom for the homogenization and cancellation of its identity; it is beginning to understand the value of familial and social ties, of the bonds of faith and culture that unite honest people.

This Great Reset is destined to fail because those who planned it do not understand that there are still people ready to take to the streets to defend their rights, to protect their loved ones, to give a future to their children and grandchildren.

The leveling inhumanity of the globalist project will shatter miserably in the face of the firm and courageous opposition of the children of Light.

The enemy has Satan on its side, He who only knows how to hate.

But on our side, we have the Lord Almighty, the God of armies arrayed for battle, and the Most Holy Virgin, who will crush the head of the ancient Serpent. “If God is for us, who can be against us?” (Rom 8:31).

Mr. President, you are well aware that, in this crucial hour, the United States of America is considered the defending wall against which the war declared by the advocates of globalism has been unleashed.

Place your trust in the Lord, strengthened by the words of the Apostle Paul: “I can do all things in Him who strengthens me” (Phil 4:13).

To be an instrument of Divine Providence is a great responsibility, for which you will certainly receive all the graces of state that you need, since they are being fervently implored for you by the many people who support you with their prayers.

With this heavenly hope and the assurance of my prayer for you, for the First Lady, and for your collaborators, with all my heart I send you my blessing.

Note: In light of the Biden regime’s installation of pedophiles and Satanists and transgender deviants at the highest levels of government, it’s instructive to return to Archbishop Vigano’s first open letter to President Trump in June 2020. At the time, many accused Vigano of making “apocalyptic claims about a looming spiritual battle and a globalist conspiracy pursuing a one-world government.” He turned out to be right —of course. Vigano’s clear theological vision of the stakes of the 2020 election for our country (and the rest of the world) has never been more necessary. As Vigano says in this letter: “It is important that the good — who are the majority — wake up from their sluggishness and do not accept being deceived by a minority of dishonest people with unavowable purposes. It is necessary that the good, the children of light, come together and make their voices heard.”

Mr. President,

In recent months we have been witnessing the formation of two opposing sides that I would call Biblical: the children of light and the children of darkness. The children of light constitute the most conspicuous part of humanity, while the children of darkness represent an absolute minority. And yet the former are the object of a sort of discrimination which places them in a situation of moral inferiority with respect to their adversaries, who often hold strategic positions in government, in politics, in the economy and in the media. In an apparently inexplicable way, the good are held hostage by the wicked and by those who help them either out of self-interest or fearfulness.

These two sides, which have a Biblical nature, follow the clear separation between the offspring of the Woman and the offspring of the Serpent. On the one hand there are those who, although they have a thousand defects and weaknesses, are motivated by the desire to do good, to be honest, to raise a family, to engage in work, to give prosperity to their homeland, to help the needy, and, in obedience to the Law of God, to merit the Kingdom of Heaven. On the other hand, there are those who serve themselves, who do not hold any moral principles, who want to demolish the family and the nation, exploit workers to make themselves unduly wealthy, foment internal divisions and wars, and accumulate power and money: for them the fallacious illusion of temporal well-being will one day — if they do not repent — yield to the terrible fate that awaits them, far from God, in eternal damnation.

In society, Mr. President, these two opposing realities co-exist as eternal enemies, just as God and Satan are eternal enemies. And it appears that the children of darkness — whom we may easily identify with the deep state which you wisely oppose and which is fiercely waging war against you in these days — have decided to show their cards, so to speak, by now revealing their plans. They seem to be so certain of already having everything under control that they have laid aside that circumspection that until now had at least partially concealed their true intentions. The investigations already under way will reveal the true responsibility of those who managed the COVID emergency not only in the area of health care but also in politics, the economy, and the media. We will probably find that in this colossal operation of social engineering there are people who have decided the fate of humanity, arrogating to themselves the right to act against the will of citizens and their representatives in the governments of nations.

We will also discover that the riots in these days were provoked by those who, seeing that the virus is inevitably fading and that the social alarm of the pandemic is waning, necessarily have had to provoke civil disturbances, because they would be followed by repression which, although legitimate, could be condemned as an unjustified aggression against the population. The same thing is also happening in Europe, in perfect synchrony. It is quite clear that the use of street protests is instrumental to the purposes of those who would like to see someone elected in the upcoming presidential elections who embodies the goals of the deep state and who expresses those goals faithfully and with conviction. It will not be surprising if, in a few months, we learn once again that hidden behind these acts of vandalism and violence there are those who hope to profit from the dissolution of the social order so as to build a world without freedom: Solve et Coagula, as the Masonic adage teaches.

Although it may seem disconcerting, the opposing alignments I have described are also found in religious circles. There are faithful Shepherds who care for the flock of Christ, but there are also mercenary infidels who seek to scatter the flock and hand the sheep over to be devoured by ravenous wolves. It is not surprising that these mercenaries are allies of the children of darkness and hate the children of light: just as there is a deep state, there is also a deep church that betrays its duties and forswears its proper commitments before God. Thus the Invisible Enemy, whom good rulers fight against in public affairs, is also fought against by good shepherds in the ecclesiastical sphere. It is a spiritual battle, which I spoke about in my recent Appeal which was published on May 8.

For the first time, the United States has in you a President who courageously defends the right to life, who is not ashamed to denounce the persecution of Christians throughout the world, who speaks of Jesus Christ and the right of citizens to freedom of worship. Your participation in the March for Life, and more recently your proclamation of the month of April as National Child Abuse Prevention Month, are actions that confirm which side you wish to fight on. And I dare to believe that both of us are on the same side in this battle, albeit with different weapons.

For this reason, I believe that the attack to which you were subjected after your visit to the National Shrine of Saint John Paul II is part of the orchestrated media narrative which seeks not to fight racism and bring social order, but to aggravate dispositions; not to bring justice, but to legitimize violence and crime; not to serve the truth, but to favor one political faction. And it is disconcerting that there are Bishops — such as those whom I recently denounced — who, by their words, prove that they are aligned on the opposing side. They are subservient to the deep state, to globalism, to aligned thought, to the New World Order which they invoke ever more frequently in the name of a universal brotherhood which has nothing Christian about it, but which evokes the Masonic ideals of those who want to dominate the world by driving God out of the courts, out of schools, out of families, and perhaps even out of churches.

The American people are mature and have now understood how much the mainstream media does not want to spread the truth but seeks to silence and distort it, spreading the lie that is useful for the purposes of their masters. However, it is important that the good — who are the majority — wake up from their sluggishness and do not accept being deceived by a minority of dishonest people with unavowable purposes. It is necessary that the good, the children of light, come together and make their voices heard. What more effective way is there to do this, Mr. President, than by prayer, asking the Lord to protect you, the United States, and all of humanity from this enormous attack of the Enemy? Before the power of prayer, the deceptions of the children of darkness will collapse, their plots will be revealed, their betrayal will be shown, their frightening power will end in nothing, brought to light and exposed for what it is: an infernal deception.

Mr. President, my prayer is constantly turned to the beloved American nation, where I had the privilege and honor of being sent by Pope Benedict XVI as Apostolic Nuncio. In this dramatic and decisive hour for all of humanity, I am praying for you and also for all those who are at your side in the government of the United States. I trust that the American people are united with me and you in prayer to Almighty God.

United against the Invisible Enemy of all humanity, I bless you and the First Lady, the beloved American nation, and all men and women of good will.

On Friday morning, I sent out a warning on Twitter that reached almost a million viewers: there’s a hidden iceberg that America is about to hit, and that iceberg is Operation Warp Speed.

Literally the very next day, the world famous Hollywood actor Jamie Foxx finally confirmed that he was alive on a short video — after being hospitalized for weeks for undisclosed reasons. Foxx did admit that he barely survived his medical ordeal — which sounds like a stroke of some kind.

The very next day after Jamie Foxx confirmed that he was alive, the world famous Hollywood singer Tori Kelly collapsed at a restaurant and is now in a hospital ICU with “life-threatening blood clots” near her vital organs.

She’s just 30 years old.

The following speech was given by Hungary’s Prime Minister Viktor Orbán at the 32nd Bálványos Summer Free University and Student Camp on July 22nd, 2023 — this version has been shortened for transmission by Substack.

His insights into the coming conflict between China and the USA should be noted. His view of the role of the Christian religion in the West is also important: “Two hundred and forty years ago, during the Enlightenment, left-wing, internationalist and liberal intellectuals and political leaders thought that the rejection of religion and Christianity would be followed by the emergence of an ideal, enlightened community based on an understanding of the good and the common good, living a free and superior life according to recognized, sociologically based societal truths. This is what they hoped for from the rejection of Christianity and religion. At that time, two hundred years ago, that was not out of the question. It might have been a possibility. But two hundred years have passed, and today we can see that it is pure illusion: by rejecting Christianity, we have in fact become hedonistic pagans. This is the reality!”

Dear Friends, 

We are living through a particularly dangerous period in the history of humanity. These are years of great change. This change is affecting every corner of the globe and every country, so if we want to say something valid about Hungary, about Hungarians in the Carpathian Basin, we must first talk about the world. The essence of my message is that the balance of power in the world has shifted, and now we are suffering the serious consequences of this. Looking back, we see that for eighty years after the Second World War there was a balance of power in the world. For us Hungarians, this period consisted of two parts. There was the first forty-five years, when the Anglo-Saxons handed us over to the Soviet communists – and, incidentally, back then they were not as squeamish about the Russians as they are now. And then there has been the second period, of thirty-three years so far, when we have been able to live in freedom without military occupation, the Soviet Union and communists. Although this was a huge change over eighty years, the balance of the world was not upset, because we managed to lead the Soviet Union out of the parade of history without a war. But now China has shifted the balance of the world. This is one of the Western world’s old fears. Even Napoleon said, “Let China sleep, for when she wakes she will shake the world.” How this situation has come about is instructive. 

I will make a brief digression, a digression on methodology. In my experience, when you make a political decision, you have to simultaneously visualize three timeframes. The issue to be decided on must first of all be classified in one of these timeframes, and you should only make a concrete decision on it once you have classified it. So there are three timeframes in which politics exists: tactical time, strategic time, and historical time. If you make the wrong classification, your decision will have unintended consequences. Let me give you two examples. When Chancellor Merkel was confronted with the migrant invasion in 2015, she classified the problem in tactical time, and said, “Wir schaffen das”, or “We can handle this”. Today it is clear that in reality the issue belonged to strategic time, because the consequences of her decision would transform the entire culture of Germany. Now we come to China. The second example is from the United States in the early 1970s. Back then the US decided to free China from its isolation, obviously to make it easier to deal with the Russians; and so it put that issue in the strategic timeframe. But it has turned out that in fact this issue, the liberation of China, belongs to the historical timeframe; because as a result of that liberation, the United States – and all of us – are now facing a greater force than the one we wanted to defeat. 

Wrong classification, unexpected consequences. But what happened has happened, and now the fact is that there has never been such a rapid and tectonic shift in the global balance of power as the one we are living through today. Remember – or note – that the way in which China is rising is different from that in which the United States rose: the United States emerged; China was, and is. In other words, we are really talking about a return: we are talking about the return of a 5,000-year-old civilization of 1.4 billion people. And this is a problem that needs to be solved, because it is not going to solve itself. China has become a production powerhouse. In fact it has already overtaken the US – or is overtaking it at this very moment: car manufacturing, computers, semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, infocommunication systems; in the world today it is the strongest in all of these areas. What has happened is that China has made the roughly three-hundred-year journey from the Western industrial revolution to the global information revolution in just thirty years. As a result, it has lifted hundreds of millions out of poverty, and today humanity’s combined prosperity and knowledge is greater than it was. But if this is the case, what is the danger? The danger, the reason the situation is dangerous, Dear Friends, is that the gold medal already has an owner: after its own civil war, from the 1870s onwards the United States grew to be the preeminent country, and its inalienable right to world economic supremacy is part of its national identity, and a kind of article of faith. And whenever that position has been challenged, the United States has always successfully repelled the challenge. It repelled the Soviet Union. And, let us remember, it also repelled the European Union. A few decades ago the European Union’s plan was to promote the euro as a world currency alongside the dollar. We can see where the euro is today. And we also had a plan, which we expressed as the need to create a great free trade zone stretching from Lisbon to Vladivostok. What do we see today? Today, the free trade zone stretches from Lisbon to the outskirts of Donetsk at the furthest. In 2010 the US and the European Union contributed 22 – 23 per cent of total world production; today the US contributes 25 per cent and the European Union 17 per cent. In other words, the US has successfully repelled the European Union’s attempt to move up alongside it – or even ahead of it.

Dear Summer Camp, 

In international politics there is a simple correlation: the bigger your GDP, your gross domestic product, the more influence you have in international affairs. In other words, what we are seeing today is a steady decline in American dominance on the world stage. And no preeminent world power will take kindly to that sort of thing. Their reasoning is simple. It can be roughly summed up as follows: “We’re at the top of the world. We climbed here in order to stay here forever. Of course, there’s this thing called history, which is disagreeable, but the point is that what’s always happened to other countries and other peoples has come to an end with us, and we’ll stay here at the top of the world forever.” This is a tempting thought, but the unpleasant truth of our life today is that in world politics there are no eternal winners and no eternal losers. An even more unpleasant truth is that the current trends favour Asia and China – be those trends in economics, technological development, or indeed military power. A still more unpleasant truth is that changes are also taking place in international institutions. We all know the correlation which shows that whoever creates international institutions will thereby gain an advantage from them. So China has quite simply created its own: we see the BRICS and the One Belt One Road Initiative; and we also see the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, the development resources of which are several times greater than the development resources of all the Western countries. 

In other words, Asia, or China, stands before us fully attired as a great power. It has a civilizational credo: it is the center of the universe, and this releases inner energy, pride, self-esteem and ambition. It has a long-term plan, which is expressed as “Ending the century of humiliation” – or, to paraphrase the Americans, “Make China Great Again”. It has a medium-term program: to restore in Asia the dominance that existed before the West arrived. And it can neutralise the chief US weapon, the chief US weapon of power, which we call “universal values”. The Chinese simply laugh at this, describing it as a Western myth, and noting that such talk of universal values is in fact a philosophy hostile to other, non-Western, civilizations. And, seen from over there, that view contains some truth.

In other words, Ladies and Gentlemen, Dear Summer Camp, the situation we are living in today is one in which day by day we are moving towards conflict. The question – the 1-million-dollar question – is whether this conflict can be avoided. There are ever more studies and books on this, and I am also working from them. One notable work says that in the last three hundred years there have been sixteen occasions when a new “champion” has risen to pull alongside – or overtake – the world’s leading power. The bad news is that of the sixteen instances thus identified, twelve have ended in war, and only four were peacefully resolved. In other words, Dear Friends, we are at the most dangerous moment in world politics today, when the leading great power sees itself sinking towards second place. Experience shows that the dominant great power tends to see itself as more benevolent and better-intentioned than it really is, and attributes malice to its challenger more often than is – or should be – justified. Consequently, the starting point for each opposing party is not the intentions of the counterpart, but its capabilities: not what the counterpart wants to do, but what it is capable of doing. And thus war is already in the making. This is what is called the “Thucydides Trap”, named after the man who wrote the history of the Peloponnesian War between Sparta and Athens, and who first identified the problem.

Ladies and Gentlemen, 

The implication for our lives is that a clash between the two great powers – including between their soldiers – is more likely than we are able to see from here in TusnádfürdÅ‘ today. The good news – or at least a ray of hope – is that war is not inevitable. Its avoidance is conditional on the world’s ability to find a new equilibrium to replace the one that is now in motion. The question is how this can be done. The truth is that this is a task for the “big boys”. We have not been dealt a hand in that card game. Let us not misjudge our role. All we can say is that now something should be done that has never been done before: the big boys should accept that there are two suns in the sky. This mentality is radically different from the one we have lived with for the last few hundred years. Regardless of the current balance of power, the opposing sides should recognize each other as equals. You can see that there is a conveyor belt of high-level American officials going to Beijing, which is a sign that in the United States they see the danger and the trouble. The Secretary of State has been there, the Treasury Secretary has been there, and – most recently – the former national security advisor Mr. Kissinger has been there. And if you have been reading the news, you will have seen that a few days ago the Japanese announced that they are doubling their military spending, and will be building one of the most powerful armies in the world. 

So, from this analysis of the situation, what do we need to do? What is worth understanding, Dear Friends, is that the settling of the new equilibrium will not happen overnight – or even from one month to the next. The settling of such a new equilibrium will take a whole generation. This means that not only will we live our lives within this global system of relations, within this world era, this zeitgeist: so too will our children. And we Hungarians must make headway in this world situation and zeitgeist, and we must shape our Hungarian national plans with this in mind. 

Let us take one step closer to TusnádfürdÅ‘, and let us say a few words about the European Union. When you look at the European Union today, you may get the impression that it is plagued by anxiety and that it feels hemmed in. There are good reasons for this. The EU has about 400 million people; and if I add in the rest of the Western world, that is another 400 million. So this amounts to 800 million people, surrounded by another seven billion. And the European Union has an accurate view of itself: it is a rich union, but a weak one. It is a rich and weak union that sees around it a world in revolt, a world in confused uproar, old grievances, many hungry mouths, raging development, colossal consumption, and millions of people about to set off for Europe. It sees a wave of millions of people gathering in the Sahel, which, if we are unable to restrain it, could spill over onto the European side of the Mediterranean. Earlier this week there was a Latin America-EU summit in Brussels, where I saw and heard all this with my own eyes and ears. In the vocabulary of Latin American leaders, the most common terms were these: “native genocide”, which I think means the extermination of indigenous peoples; slavery and the slave trade; and “reparatory justice”, meaning reparations for injustices. These are the terms in which they are thinking. No wonder the European Union feels hemmed in. 

And if we take a look at the International Monetary Fund’s list ranking countries by the size of their economies, by their national GDPs, we see that in the rankings for 2030 Britain, Italy and France will have dropped out of the top ten where they still are today; and Germany – now fourth – will have slid down to tenth place. This is the reality. Today this fear, this feeling of being hemmed in, is driving our European Union towards seclusion. It is afraid of competition – like an ageing boxing champion, showing off his championship belts, but not wanting to ever enter the ring again. From this comes seclusion: seclusion in an economic, political and cultural ghetto. They have developed the language for this, which is something they are strong in: they are still strongest in formulating and briefly describing complex situations. They call this seclusion “decoupling” – or, more subtly, “de-risking”, which is a form of risk reduction. If you look at it from this point of view, the policy towards Russia is also a decoupling: an attempt to decouple Russia from the European economy through wartime sanctions. And of course Europe can be cut off from Russian energy, but in fact this is ineffective and illusory, because Russia cannot be cut off from the rest of the world. Russian raw materials will be bought by others, while we will suffer from wartime inflation and lose our competitiveness. I will quote you two figures. The amount paid for the European Union’s imports of gas and oil – the two together – was 300 billion euros before the Russian war, and 653 billion euros last year. So the way the European economy is operating today – the way we want to compete today – is with energy costing twice what it used to cost, while in many parts of the world it is still available at the price it was in the previous period. This is the great debate for Europe in the years ahead. This is what we Hungarians have to prepare for: either to decouple, or to participate in international competition. As they say in Brussels, “de-risking or connectivity”.

Here I will make an informational digression. The big European companies do not want to decouple. They do not even want to get out of Russia. I have looked up the relevant statistics. Of the 1,400 largest Western companies, 8.5 per cent have pulled out of Russia – 8.5! From the pharmaceutical industry, 84 per cent have stayed; 79 per cent of the European mining industry is still in Russia, as are 70 per cent of energy companies and 77 per cent of manufacturing companies. And you will never guess: last year, in 2022, the Western companies that stayed paid a total of 3.5 billion dollars into the Russian central budget. Now, seen in that light, the attack that the Ukrainians are launching against our poor, small Hungarian OTP bank is nothing but a manifestation of Hungarophobia. We must therefore reject it. I am not even going to talk about clever little European tricks such as the sudden doubling – in a single year – of the volume of goods exported from Germany to Kazakhstan. I wonder why that was? 

Another European development in relation to which Hungarians will need to position themselves in the coming years is the struggle between federalists and sovereigntists. Empire or nations? Here we suffered a serious blow to the lower ribcage, when Brexit caused our British friends to leave the European Union. This upset the balance between sovereigntists and federalists within the EU. The earlier configuration was the French and the Germans as federalists on one side, and the British and us – the V4 [Visegrád 4] – on the other. If the British were in the European Union today, we would not even have to learn terms like “rule of law mechanism”, “conditionality” or “economic governance”, as they would not exist. But first — let’s go back to the first days of 2021.

The very first thing the Biden regime did (once it was illegally installed) was to allow China into America's power grid. We’re talking about inauguration day — January 20, 2021 — that Trump’s Executive Order 13920 was suspended.

Even the lawyers for the power industry are confused about its effects:

The revocation of the Prohibition Order has received extensive electric industry trade press attention. But its tangible impact is uncertain. EO 13920 has not been revoked—only the Prohibition Order has been revoked. The Prohibition Order only applied to equipment and software sourced from one country and only when used in interconnection wires used to transmit power to locations designated—non-publicly—as “critical defense facilities.” The Prohibition Order did not apply to all utilities, generation owners and transmitters; instead, it only applied to “Responsible Utilities”—those electric utilities that own or operate Defense Critical Electric Infrastructure (DCEI), under the Federal Power Act, and that were designated by DOE. The revocation of the Prohibition Order may have only limited effects involving a relatively few entities and a confined universe of equipment and facilities.

Did you catch the key section? The Prohibition Order only applied to equipment and software sourced from one country…

Which country? China.

…and only when used in interconnection wires used to transmit power to locations designated—non-publicly—as “critical defense facilities.”

The Biden regime wanted to make sure that communist China had access to the critical infrastructure of our defense facilities.

In this exclusive excerpt from his new book Biohacked: China's Race to Control Life, defense expert Brandon Weichart explores the many links between corrupt Western institutions and Chinese bioweapons production.

Even top Chinese scientists were doubtful of the wet market story that Beijing was pushing. Researchers at the South China University of Technology, a Chinese state-funded academy, wrote a widely circulated research paper positing that “[COVID-19] probably originated from a lab in Wuhan.” The paper elaborates how the Wuhan Center for Disease Control (WHCDC) is located a mere three hundred yards from the Wuhan wet market, where the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officially claims COVID-19 originated. The WHCDC is classified as a “Biosafety Level 2” lab, meaning its ventilation controls aren’t as strict as more secure facilities. The Chinese researchers assessed that COVID-19 likely originated at the WHCDC because bats were a probable transmission source for the COVID-19 pathogen into the human population of Wuhan (and, eventually, the rest of the world). As it happens, the WHCDC was doing zoonotic research on bat-related SARS-type viruses.

In the words of Botao Xiao and Lei Xiao, the husband-and-wife team of scientists who authored the original report from the South China University of Technology, the “Genome sequences from patients [suffering from COVID0-19] were 96 percent or 89 percent identical to the Bat CoV ZC45 coronavirus [originally found in the horseshoe bats the WHCDC were experimenting with].” Almost as soon as the scientists had uploaded their document to the international database, it was taken down (and now can only be accessed by using internet archival searches).

How much do you want to bet that the CCP’s minders gave the two scientists an offer they couldn’t refuse—something like: retract the report and keep a low profile until we tell you to, or disappear forever?

What’s more, the WHCDC was adjacent to the Union Hospital where the first group of doctors were exposed to the novel coronavirus. Botao and Lei Xiao speculated in their now retracted report that it was possible the disease breached its containment in the WHCDC and may have migrated over to the nearby Union Hospital, where the infection soon spread. Of course, this is all speculation, not because those who believe the novel coronavirus may have leaked from a lab are conspiracy theorists, but because Beijing has a long track record of covering up such horrendous events to “save face,” a product of the totalitarian mindset that dominates the Chinese Communist system.

For their part, the two authors of the 2020 report have stated on their LinkedIn profiles that they retracted the original report due to a lack of specific evidence substantiating their claims. Yet we know that by the time their paper was being disseminated to the international scientific community the CCP was already in the throes of a massive cover-up. Remember Dr. Wenliang, the Chinese physician who first spotted COVID-19 in his Wuhan hospital and, when he attempted to warn the general population about the disease on Chinese social media, the government showed up, arrested him, interrogated him, forced him to sign a false confession that he had made the whole thing up, and subsequently died in December 2019 after he contracted the disease that the CCP said he had made up?

Defense expert Brandon Weichart warned recently that a new report by the NSA and the Five Eyes Intel network has admitted: China is ready and able to shut down America’s critical infrastructure networks at any time. This operation is called “Operation Volt Typhoon.” China has inserted “electronic time bombs” throughout our computer networks (using a weakness in Windows) on a scale never seen before.

Mr. Weichert believes that China is ready to launch a “Cyber Pearl Harbor” on America in order to disable the West’s capabilities — possibly to stop us from contesting an invasion of Taiwan.
