Whoopi Goldberg is upset that you call her and her Hollywood Elitist friends "Hollywood Elitists." It came out during yet another discussion about Will Smith slapping Chris Rock while his wife laughed about it. It was pointed out that after assaulting someone on the stage, the audience gave him a standing ovation fifteen minutes later. One of the other harpies on "The View" pointed to that as an example of Hollywood Elitism.

Whoopi missed the point.

Whoopi says it pisses her off when people (normies) start to talk about people (non-normies) in Hollywood: "I just want to stop with this ‘elite’ stuff because, you know, a lot of us work for a living. We work. We collect a check. We got families. We try to do the same thing, the good stuff that everybody else tries to do."

Goldberg went on to say not just the actors, "but all the other folks." Expect when people complain about Hollywood elitism, they aren't talking about the other folks. We're not talking about the key grips or the security guards or the litany of victims of the entertainment industry. We're talking specifically about the actors and the executives who dookie on "the other folks." That's meant to be metaphorical, although I'm sure some do it if you want your big break.

And "work for a living" my arse.

Twitter is a platform predominately infested by progressives. The radical, crazy kind, too. I read one survey that said if Twitter was a congressional district, it would be the second-most progressive district in the country. With so many woke tweeters on the internet, it's shocking how few of them don't understand how the internet works. For example, if you commit medical malpractice because someone made fun of your pronouns, don't brag about it on the internet. Welcome to the real world, where there are consequences for your actions. Well, there are kinda, sorta consequences. A Fox News reporter wanted answers from the hospital and got a response from the PR department. First, the reporter was told that, by law, they couldn't answer his question.

Then federal law "changed," and we got word the student no longer sees patients. No word on if she still has a job. Medical malpractice being a bad thing is such a 2021 problem.

This is who the left is. Quite frankly, this is who the Democratic Party is. If you asked a single Democrat elected official if they thought this was appropriate behavior, they would blame the man for it.

After videos leaked from a meeting with Disney leadership in which employees and executives detailed the plan to force LGBTQ characters and stories into their products, the need for competition in the market of kid’s entertainment could not be overstated. Jeremy Boreing is making all kinds of announcements lately. Recently, he announced the launch of Jeremy’s Razors after getting fed up with woke razor companies who were more concerned about virtue signaling and lecturing consumers than providing a quality product.

Critical Race Theory nonsense is bad enough, but when it is put into practical practice, it’s simply ridiculous, demonstrating just how racist the entire collection of inane thoughts truly is.

Because CRT’s bastard child anti-racism requires discrimination against white people to somehow ameliorate past discrimination, the editors over at Vassar College’s student newspaper were forced to kneel on dry rice and flagellate themselves before a bust of Kimberle Crenshaw for publishing a paper with too many quotations from white students.

Okay, maybe they didn’t do exactly that, but they may as well have. The College Fix reports that the newspaper deleted an article from February after realizing “the majority of [] quotations came from white students and therefore [] reduced the positions of students of color to a singular, tokenized perspective.”

The original story dealt with former Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson withdrawing from speaking at commencement in spring 2022. Apparently, students had accused Johnson of “war crimes” for enforcing immigration laws.

This sounds like something a bunch of upper-crust white liberals would say, complete with a picket line and stupid chanting. It’s no wonder most of the quotes were from white students.

But the editors felt the need to apologize and take the article down, saying, “Our article exemplifies many of the institutional flaws and structural problems within our paper. […] The publication of the article and its subsequent removal reminds us of the systemic issues our members are implicated in, as well as the privilege and lack of diversity that we have allowed to persist for generations.”

No “good” deed goes unpunished, though. Nora Paul, who serves as director of the University of Minnesota Journalism Center, decried the move as “etch-a-sketch” journalism, saying, “In this case the editorial should run with the original story attached and vice versa. Canceling may feel righteous but it is disingenuous. It did happen, it was reported, it was published, it should be on the record – for good or ill.”

All of this is stupid. There’s nothing wrong with quoting white students in an article.

If the staff of the Vassar College student newspaper had any real anti-racist stones, they’d all resign and have black students appointed to all the positions. They won’t do that, so everything else is just moronic, ignorant virtue signaling.

After the passage of the Florida “Parental Rights in Education” bill, there’s been a bit of backlash. Teachers and activists (and mostly activist teachers) are upset because they won’t be allowed to indoctrinate third graders into the LGBTQ ideology. Disney has decided it’s now their mission to force young children to view queer content. But there are also teachers who aren’t going to just stop, either.

This teacher took to TikTok to explain to others how she’s being “sneaky,” posting a symbol in her classroom that is apparently some secret code for “I’m open to discussing queer stuff,” and the origins of the symbol are weird, as well.

“There’s actually a way to be really sneaky about supporting specifically queer students in your classroom. […] The pink triangle was actually used in concentration camps to identify gay women and also people who were asexual, and now it’s been co-opted by the queer community to be a symbol of a safe space. […] So, that’s kind of a sneaky way to show your support if you’re in an area that you might get some pushback on.”

Okay, few things. One, why do these people always look at the camera with their heads turned? This woman spends the entire video turning her head back and forth. It’s weird. Second, this woman needs to be fired. Not simply because her annoying head-turning must be extremely distracting during class but because she’s so invested in secretly bringing kids into her LGBTQ club.

School isn’t about the teacher. It isn’t about personal discussions of sex, gender, and sexual orientation. It isn’t about seeking out people to talk through mental and emotional turmoil (there are actually professionals to go to for that). Teachers are there to teach the subjects they are assigned to teach. That’s it.

Maybe this person can go get a job over at Disney or something because she doesn’t need to be in a classroom. None of these people who are unable to stick to just doing their jobs need to be in classrooms. Secret meetings, secret clubs, secret symbols: They don’t care about the rules or what parents say. They’re just going to keep pushing.

TikTok Teacher Explains Being ‘Sneaky’ With LGBTQ Support, Actively Hide Things From Parents

Ron DeSantis gets the bulk of the attention because of how much the media hates him. But don't sleep on Arizona Governor Doug Ducey (not to be confused with DOOCY). While Republican governors in Republican states keep selling out, Ducey is another purple state conservative getting necessary reforms passed, haters be damned. On Wednesday, he signed into law common-sense voter integrity, common sense girls' sports protections, common sense abortion restrictions, and common sense children protections.

This is Gov. Ducey.

And here's what is now law in Arizona: (h/t The Post Millennial)

SB 1164 acknowledges that Arizona knows "there is immeasurable value in every life – including preborn life" and bands abortions after fifteen weeks.

SB 1165 establishes a statewide requirement to separate school sports teams on the basis of biological sex. HOWEVER, it also allows for mixed and/or coed sports.

SB 1138 delays life-altering gender reassignment surgeries until the age of 18. Gov. Ducey's rationale is that a premature decision "will dramatically affect the rest of an individual’s life, including the ability of that individual to become a biological parent later in life."

Finally, HB 2492 is the common sense voter integrity reform. This "CONTROVERSIAL" bill says voters must provide proof of citizenship by demanding as much, and there must be routine updates and checks of voter databases.

Democrats and the radical activists who control them are, of course, apoplectic. They are accusing Ducey of a cornucopia of -isms and -phobias, and are threatening to sue to get the laws repealed. But for now, they are law and that's what matters.

Much of what Ducey signed into law is what conservatives say they'll do if elected and sent to Washington, DC. Then, for one excuse or another, they don't. If conservative reforms are going to be fought for and happen, it needs to happen at the state level. We saw it in Florida. Now, we're seeing it in Arizona.

There is a clip floating around from inside the Oscars auditorium of Jada Pinkett Smith's reaction to Chris getting slapped. It looks like she enjoyed it more than the fifth time she was forced to watch King Richard.

Oh, and at some point, she announced she has alopecia. An ailment that makes your hair fall out. Both Chris Rock and I missed that news.

We get to the Oscars. Chris Rock makes a joke about a movie, GI Jane, where the lead actress had a bald head. Will Smith laughed. His bald wife gave him a dirty look. Will Smith stops laughing. The actor realizes he's in trouble with the woman who turned him into a laughing stock, and to appease her, he jumps up on stage and assaults Chris Rock.

Jada laughs as Smith returns to his seat. Realizing he did good in the eyes of his wife, Smith screams, "Keep my wife's name out of your f*cking mouth." Later, Smith won an award and his family partied. No word on with whom Jada went home.

Chris Rock returned to the stage for the first time since Happy Oscars Slapsgiving. We have heard from everyone else about what they felt about the situation. You would assume Rock has some thoughts to share, as well. He does, or at least he will. He just didn't last night and wanted to tell a few jokes instead.

“I don’t have like a bunch of sh*t about what happened. So, if you came to hear that I’m not, I had like a whole [set] I wrote before this weekend. And I’m still kinda processing what happened.”

That's more than I was even expecting him to say. He gave it more attention than I was expecting.

For you youngbloods, "Getting Jiggy With It" is a Will Smith song. Prior to becoming the world's most famous cuck, Will Smith was a rapper. Walking out on stage to one of Will's songs would have been the equivalent of Joe Rogan coming out to Neil Young's "Keep on Rocking in the Free World." When Rock addresses what happened, it will probably be on Rogan's podcast and not on stage. Or he'll show up randomly on a Friday night at Yuk Yuks in Schenectady and do five minutes on it.
