The patriarchy strikes again as they cancel an all women's panel defending truth.

A “Let’s Talk about Sex Baby: Why biological sex remains a necessary analytic category in anthropology” panel has been canceled by the American Anthropological Association (AAA) and the Canadian Anthropology Society (CASCA ), which stated the topic would cause too much “harm.”

The AAA and CASCA said that it was now tightening its review process to ensure such an event wouldn't recur in the future.

In case it was not clear, the left often uses the terms ‘science’ and ‘pseudoscience’ interchangeably.

They don’t really understand the difference and think they are the same things.

In a statement titled "no place for transphobia" which the organization issued to The National Desk, the groups defended their decision as avoiding a “cardinal sin” of academia.

It also claimed that the science of biological sex was not settled and that sex was not binary.

"The session was rejected because it [was] framed in ways that do harm to vulnerable members of our community. It commits one of the cardinal sins of scholarship—it assumes the truth of the proposition that it sets out to prove, namely, that sex and gender are simplistically binary, and that this is a fact with meaningful implications for the discipline," the AAA told FOX News Digital.

They also claimed a bunch of other garbage like sex is just an estimation.

The event would have discussed "Sex identification whether an individual was male or female – using the skeleton is one of the most fundamental components in bioarchaeology and forensic anthropology."

Elizabeth Weiss, an anthropology professor at San José State University, who was also one of the speakers expected to attend the event, told FOX News Digital that the field has been nose-diving into an "off the rails" agenda, with activists pushing for some facts to be replaced with feelings.

She said that anthropologists have been getting attacked more for knowing and being able to determine those differences of the sex of a human skeleton.

"So just as we are getting better and better at identifying what is male and what is a female and the skeletal record, we are getting more and more attacked for knowing how to do this," she told FOX News Digital. "Truth is not necessarily considered an objective goal and the victims' narrative is more important than facts. Who tells the story is more important than the data, which we obviously know is not true."

But I thought that ‘sex’ and ‘gender’ were two different things? Isn’t that the whole premise over transgenderism?

Obviously, they know that crap makes no sense. They know they can’t defend their lack of logic. That is why they have to cancel things that speak the truth. That is the only way they can ‘replace their feelings with facts’ as the anthropologist put it.

These are the very same people who tell us to “trust science?” But we know that only means science that promotes their leftist agenda.

These ‘experts’ really know nothing about skeletons. As we have known, you can dig up a skeleton from thousands of years ago and know what sex it is, whether it gave birth, and so much more.

But if science is bending to transphobia and bias then we can't trust it.

When the left says ‘follow the science’ what they really mean is ‘follow the political science.’

You can’t let ‘science’ get in the way of the woke narrative.

For the record, I highly doubt that these skeletons were ‘nonbinary.’ But that is just a hunch.

If you look a little deeper, the silly things she says are to mask her feelings for Elon. It was up to Musk to say out loud what everyone else sees.

Rep. AOC can deny many things. Reality. Basic facts. That her current fiancé likes her for her brain. The social media influencer can't deny Elon's charm.

If journalismers are going to ask dumb, unserious questions, they should be taken as unseriously as the reporter you are about to see. Our government is going to shut down if Congress doesn't do... I don't know, whatever they have to do by 11:59 PM tonight to prevent a shutdown. Rep. Tim Burchett (R-TN) was asked if he supported the shutdown.

But not just any shutdown.

"Do you support Trump’s call to shut down the government?"

You see right away it's being framed around White House talking point. This isn't the first time there has been a shutdown threat. We've been seeing them since Clinton/Gingrich. But because Joe Biden wants to frame any criticism around alleged "MAGA extremism" and Trump went on another of his angry rants on TruthSocial, it is now the "Trump" shutdown.

Rep. Burchett didn't take the bait. He was distracted.

It wasn't a scorcher in DC this week. You could have worn slacks or full khakis like a big boy would. OR, white socks with sneakers. There should be a rule of thumb. Not that a twelve-year-old wouldn't ask better questions than most adult corporate journalismers.

As for the pending shutdown?

I've got the Bills vs. the Dolphins, Bryan Danielson vs. Zack Sabre Jr., and my nephew's birthday to worry about. This also feels like the elvenentieth shutdown scare I've been alive for. In every instance, America was fine. Worst case scenario is that the federal government shuts down for a few weeks and most Americans don't notice if they shut off cable news.

Kudos to the fact that there is still some common sense in the world.

On Thursday, a federal appeals court upheld Tennessee’s and Kentucky’s bans on gender affirming care interventions, such as puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and gender surgeries on children.

The challenge was brought forth from the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and families of trans-identifying children.

And by ‘families’ they really meant woke parents who see their children as nothing more than an accessory to virtue-signal to the public.

Chief Judge Jeffrey Sutton and Judge Amul Thapar sided with those who argued that the medical treatments were either partially or entirely irreversible.

“This is a relatively new diagnosis with ever-shifting approaches to care over the last decade or two. Under these circumstances, it is difficult for anyone to be sure about predicting the long-term consequences of abandoning age limits of any sort for these treatments,” wrote Sutton.

The ACLU has since promised to take further action and called the ruling a “devastating result.”

“The disastrous impact of Tennessee’s law and all others like it has already been felt in thousands of homes and communities. Denying transgender youth equality before the law and needlessly withholding the necessary medical care their families and their doctors know is right for them has caused and will continue to cause serious harm,” the ACLU said Thursday in a statement.

Judge Helene White offered the dissenting opinion in the case. She wrote that the Kentucky and Tennessee laws “cannot pass constitutional muster” and “facially discriminate based on a minor’s sex as assigned at birth and on a minor’s failure to conform with societal expectations concerning that sex.”

“Tennessee’s and Kentucky’s laws tell minors and their parents that the minors cannot undergo medical care because of the accidents of their births and their failure to conform to how society believes boys and girls should look and live,” she concluded.

“The laws further deprive the parents—those whom we otherwise recognize as best suited to further their minor children’s interests—of their right to make medical decisions affecting their children in conjunction with their children and medical practitioners. For these reasons, I dissent.”

It really is sick that there are people fighting to profit over these experimental Frankenstein procedures.

The fact that they gaslight the public and call this “care” is so disturbing. They will try and claim that if you do not do these horrid procedures your child will kill themselves.

That is the most abhorrent form of gaslighting imaginable.

They even go as far as to call it “life-saving.” Which is an obvious lie since progressives have only started pushing these “treatments” in mass the past several years.

The whole premise defies logic too as they call it “affirming” care. Since when do we affirm a self-diagnosed patient? That basically means it is up to the child to decide.

Kids do not even understand the repercussions their choices have on the future.

It really is sick that people fight for doctors to chop up children like that.

This is a disastrous movement and agenda being perpetuated against children. But at least there is still some sanity that exists in the legal system.

Nearly all restaurants in San Francisco has experienced graffiti or vandalism.

Only 3% out of 74 restaurants surveyed said they had not experienced property crime, according to a new survey from the Golden Gate Restaurant Association.

The city has spent $1 million on grants for vandalism relief since 2021, and nearly 800 businesses have received $1,000 or $2,000 grants for graffiti, broken windows, or other vandalism, the San Francisco Chronicle reported.

It's truly laughable that city officials think "Grants" are a solution for this problem. Really seems like that has done so much the past two years.

But that is what progressives do. They find a "solution" to the problem they created, and keep doubling down on that "solution" even though it just makes things worse.

In one recent incident, Supreme Pizza in the Mission District was hit with acid, owner Leandro Jayme showed ABC 7.

“This is acid, so you can’t just remove it,” he said, pointing to grime on a window. “They have to replace the glass.”

The situation is so bad that San Francisco’s 311 call center has received a⁢ staggering 10,000 reports of ⁣graffiti on commercial buildings and sidewalks in the last six months alone.

The San Francisco Police Department has even had to assign a full-time officer to investigate graffiti-related incidents because it is that bad.

Shuggie’s, another restaurant in⁢ the Mission district, received ⁤a grant but ultimately gave up on trying to combat the daily onslaught of graffiti.

This comes as the city faces another major problem plaguing the city - Shoplifting.

San Francisco’s stores have resorted⁣ to extreme measures to deter thieves. Grocery stores, pharmacies, and⁢ other retailers have installed security devices and hired private security to combat rampant theft.

Part of the reason for the increase in theft is Proposition 47, a 2014 voter-approved law that made the theft of merchandise under $950 in value a misdemeanor that is not usually investigated.

In other words, voters shot themselves in the foot.

But that is only a drop in the bucket.

The other issues at hand are not prosecuting any misdemeanors, watering down the majority of felonies to misdemeanors, not handing out long prison sentences even for the worst crimes, and never asking for bail.

Thugs know they can get away with just about anything these days.

How are progressives so blind at the urban ruin they have created? They literally destroyed what was once called ‘The Paris of the West.’ San Francisco was known for having some of the best restaurants in the country. And now nearly 100% face property crime.

Only progressives can make it so only the richest people in the world can afford to live there, while also it being a haven for drugs, violence, encampments, and other degenerate behaviors and conditions that only third world countries could dream of.

Progressives in San Francisco’s claim that they are the compassionate ones as they fix the evils of racism this country supposedly holds on to. But it is their permissive policies that have subjected people to incredible cruelty.

While the board of supervisors focuses on reparations for people who have never been slaves, residents are forced to deal with the ruins they have caused.

But I am sure grants and reparations will just fix all of this.

The Lego Group has learned the hard way that the climate cult is nothing more than a scam.

The company has announced it has abandoned plans to make its bricks from recycled plastic as using the new sustainable material does not reduce carbon emissions and is actually worse for the environment.

Why does it seem that every attempt to make things more ‘sustainable’ always ends up being worse for the environment?

What do they call it when you keep doing the same thing over and over again and expect different results?

Oh, yeah. It is called INSANITY.

The company’s prototype Lego brick using PET plastic from old bottles was announced in 2021.

The hope was that material could have offered an alternative to oil-based bricks.

However, Lego has now said that after more than two years of testing, using the material instead of oil-based plastic would have a higher carbon footprint.

The company makes billions of Lego pieces a year, and in 2021 began researching a potential transition to recycled polyethylene terephthalate (PET) from acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), which needs about 2kg of petroleum to make 1kg of plastic. ABS is used in about 80% of Lego blocks.

“It’s like trying to make a bike out of wood rather than steel,” said Tim Brooks, Lego’s head of sustainability. The “level of disruption to the manufacturing environment was such that we needed to change everything in our factories.”

You know, it might just benefit companies to stop making business decisions based on mob fears and climate alarmism.

What is that saying? Oh yeah, ‘go woke, go broke.’

He added, “After all that, the carbon footprint would have been higher. It was disappointing.”

Niels Christiansen, chief executive of Lego, told the FT that there was no "magic material" to resolve the firm's sustainability challenges.

"We tested hundreds and hundreds of materials. It's just not been possible to find a material like that," he said.

But don’t worry because a spokesperson for the company told the BBC: "We remain fully committed to making Lego bricks from sustainable materials by 2032.”

"We are investing more than $1.2bn in sustainability initiatives in the four years to 2025 as part of our efforts to transition to more sustainable materials and reduce our carbon emissions by 37% by 2032."

Evetime progressives try to drastically change things because they are scared of summer, bad things always seem to happen.

Here is one example:

San Francisco became the first city to ban plastic shopping bags in 2007.

Several years later, professors conducted a study of the effects of that ban. They found that as soon as it went into effect, deaths and emergency-room visits related to foodborne illnesses spiked in the city, with deaths increasing as much as 50 percent to 100 percent.

They concluded that non-plastic reusable bags were the culprit, because commonly used alternatives to plastic bags can be incubators for bacteria. Harmful bacteria will begin to grow inside the bags, turning green friendly totes into giant petri dishes.

"Subsequent bans by other cities in California appear to be associated with similar effects," the study also concluded.

Most recently, it turned out that those mushy paper straws are actually toxic and worse for the environment and human health.

Yet, climate prophets keep telling us we must do all these things or else we will all die.

Progressives continue to piggyback and copy each other's awful and unproven ideas in order to virtue single and pretend they actually give a crap.

But hopefully the company will be able to find an alternative solution so they can accomplish their goal to appease the climate alarmist mob.

This is a Friday palate cleanser to end all Friday palate cleansers. A deleted scene from The Office about Barack Obama's inauguration. In light of the horrendous rumors that NBC is going to reboot The Office, it's a reminder of what almost was.

Obama was inaugurated in 2009, so that makes this season five. Jim is engaged to Pam. Dwight is smashing Angela behind Andy's back. The only thing missing is Idris Alba. Having "Charles Miner" in the conference room as Michael Scott, because Obama is now president, declares racism to be dead would have been phenomenal.

In 2009, we called Black-Americans (with a capital B) African-Americans. It was what white liberals preferred.

"...you guys are the man. You guys are whitey. And suddenly, you're the ones who can't jump. Or dance. Or do math. Do you understand the responsibility that puts on your shoulders?"

I am purposely not doing any research about this clip, where it came from, or why it never made air. If I were to guess, it was a bell and/or whistle on the season five DVD box set. To you zoomers out there, "DVD box sets" were what we oldheads had to buy to watch entire seasons of TV shows instead of streaming them on Netflix. Also, DVDs were little plastic discs we would shoot with lasers that would project images and words on the screen.

It could have been a deleted scene. It could have been an outtake. Steve Carell walked into a room full of actors to see how far he could take it before one of them broke. My guess is that the full clip ended with Carell dropping a soft-g and Jenna Fischer being the first to break character and snort through her nose.

I needed a laugh. You needed a laugh. This provided a good laugh.

A male student who identifies as a female was captured on video violently attacking a female classmate in the halls of a middle school in Oregon.

The video shows multiple students filming while the trans student violently throws the female to the ground before hitting her several times, grabbing her hair, and using it to fling her side to side to side, before violently assaulting her further.

"Touch me again, b-tch," the trans student threatened.

The school district appears to be more concerned with rumors regarding “sexual identity” than what happened to the poor girl.

They have released the following statement:

“Students and adults contributed to the sharing of this recording that exposed minors who were directly and indirectly involved without consent. In addition, the sharing of this incident has spread across the country and beyond, inspiring false information and a focus and discourse on sexual identity. These acts have contributed to the trauma individuals and families are already experiencing.”

In other words, they don’t say anything about the poor girl assaulted but only care about the delusion of the trans student who assaulted her.

And it was also not false information. He was definitely on the gender-bender train as normal guys don’t wear crop tops and kimonos.

At least I hope that is not what guys are wearing these days.

Not only was he cosplaying as a woman, but he was also committing cultural appropriation with his kimono. Why is no one talking about that? That is the real issue at hand.

Then they went on to say “We are also united in upholding an educational environment that fosters inclusivity, diversity, and respect. We will not be distracted from our responsibilities of governing this vibrant school system by any form of harassment or bias.”

The school district really cares more about someone ‘misgendering’ the trans student than about the girl who was assaulted. That is unreal.

And it was their commitment “ in upholding an educational environment that fosters inclusivity, diversity” that contributed to all of this.

According to some reports, this is the third girl the trans student has assaulted at that school.

You can not have ‘inclusive’ spaces and safe spaces for women. It is not possible. And the school district better learn that and stop obsessing over made-up pronouns.

Girls are not safe at that school and the ‘adults’ need to grow up and do their jobs.

I wonder why his victims are only women. Why does he not attack men?

Also, what was wrong with those other kids? The trans student obviously announced to them what he was going to do because they were recording well before the attack. They not only let it happen, they recorded it to embarrass the girl assaulted for the rest of the world to see.

The trans student is also a coward because he attacked her from behind before he pounced on her.

Why did he attack the poor girl? It is unclear. But you can tell a lot about the two students by the way they walk and dress.

The girl who was attacked comes off shy as she is dressed modestly and seems a bit reserved. At least in the 30-second video she does. . She does not even fight back and is also clearly traumatized by the attack.

The trans student is dressed inappropriately for school, is not fully clothed, and obviously needs attention. Most trans people are narcissistic as their whole sense of worth revolves around their delusional identity, and he definitely comes off as that way. He also appears to be riled up by the attack.

The incident has been turned over to law enforcement as it is now considered a criminal investigation.

The trans student needs to be charged as a male, because he is one.

One thing is for sure, the trans student has definitely still got that testosterone flowing through his veins.

American retailers lost approximately $78.4 billion to shoplifters last year. Target is the latest company to shut down stores because they can't afford to stay open. Yes, all in progressive cities. The ones where progressive voters elected progressive leaders to enact progressive policies and can't understand why it isn't safe to leave their homes. As it turns out, big box retailer Costco's loss rate is roughly ten times lower than the industry average.

CFO Richard Galanti explained why in an investor earnings call. It boils down to the store charging people to get in, and knowing who they all are.

"You have to show your picture ID when you come into our warehouse so the fact that it’s member-only is a positive," said Galanti. "We’ve always had one way in and one way out and people checking receipts at the door."

It's the membership format and controlling entrances and exits that the company credits for having much lower losses than the rest of the industry.

But is this a solution for other companies? The stores that are victims of progressive equity-inspired theft also control their entrances and exits. And then wave to the thieves as they walk out the door. The employees who don't and try to stop the thieves get fired.

And the ID thing, if you'll indulge me...

Consumers getting used to buying everything with credit cards gave governments the opening to push digital currency that they control.

Consumers getting used to ordering everything from home gave governments the opening to keep you there during a public health crisis... that wasn't crisisy enough to let delivery people stay home.

I'm weary about what customers getting used to needing a universal ID in order to enter department stores will give the government an opening to do. I only know that voting will be the only place they WON'T mandate you needing to show an ID.

Though I'm glad Costco has such a low rate of theft. It keeps getting a soda and hot dog at only a buck and a half.
