California to spend $300 million to "help" clear homeless encampments that California policies created

11/30/2023

Comments

Tonight, Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida, who is running for president, and Governor Gavin Newsom of California, who is definitely not running for president, are set to debate.

The growth of public encampments in California is impossible to ignore. Newsom knows that. So what is he supposed to say if DeSantis brings up the fact that it has significantly increased under his watch?

Well, this is what he came up with.

California announced nearly $300 million in new funding that is available to state agencies, cities, counties, and organizations to help clean up homeless camps.

— (@)

Over just a four-year period, California has spent over $17.5 billion on homelessness. But for some reason, this is not a problem that money seems to be able to fix.

"We've got to move, people are counting on us," Newsom said in a news briefing on Monday, according to the Washington Examiner. "The public has had it, they're fed up, I'm fed up, we're all fed up."

Governor Gavin Newsom says it is on top of $415 million that has already been allocated to help clear 5,600 encampments since 2021.

Question: does it count as “clearing” an encampment if they just set the tent back up again an hour later?

This is all so weird. Just the other day San Francisco was able to clean up their encampments overnight. Does it really take half a billion dollars to make a dent?

“Since day one, combatting homelessness has been a top priority. Encampments are not safe for the people living in them, or for community members around them. The state is giving locals hundreds of millions of dollars to move people into housing and clean up these persistent and dangerous encampments. And we are doing the same on state land, having removed 5,679 encampments since 2021.” Newsom said.

Just because you throw money at something does not mean you are giving it “priority.” And at the very least, we can definitely correlate that the more money officials spend on homelessness, only increases it. But at least he will be able to say it is his “top issue.”

Newsom said that those receiving the grant money will be held accountable in making sure the homeless are provided new homes.

"We're not just writing a blank check and hoping things get better. They actually have specific numeric goals, minimum expectations and standards that must be met," he said.

So I am assuming this means Newsom, the most powerful man in the state, will not be held “accountable” for the increase in homelessness under his watch.

According to the Public Policy Institute of California, 30 percent of the nation's homeless population live in California.

"The governor didn’t clear these homeless encampments; they just moved them down the street," said Senator Brian Dahle (R-Bieber. "California spends more tax dollars per homeless person than we do on our students. The homeless crisis is a national embarrassment. This governor needs to focus on real results instead of chasing presidential aspirations and gas-lighting Californians."

I think it is quite clear that the “housing first” approach only exacerbates the problem.

There are so many parts in California that the third world is not even subjected to. And at the very least, the evidence shows that housing will not fix much of anything.

UN Head Flies On Private Jet To Climate Conference ... Where He Calls For TOTAL Fossil Fuel Phaseout

11/30/2023

Comments

If you had to pick only one reason why you should not believe any prediction a climate alarmist makes-- it should be because they don’t even believe their own crap. This is proven by the fact that they do every single thing they tell you not to do.

The upcoming United Nations (UN) climate conference in the UAE, known as COP28, is expected by some reports to have a larger carbon footprint than any previous UN climate change summit, according to the Daily Caller.

At least 25,000 more people were expected to show up compared to last year’s summit, COP27.

The conference will “focus on global strategies to reduce emissions and accelerate the shift away from fossil fuels in favor of green energy,” according to the Daily Caller.

It is probably safe to say that practically all attendees flew there. Probably with a good chunk flying solo on a private jet.

If all these people, from all these nations, really thought we were all going to die from fossil fuels, why are they contributing to this “inevitable” destruction? Why can’t this just be an email?

UN Secretary-General António Guterres is one of these very hypocritical people.

Guterres said leaders should aim for a complete "phaseout" of fossil fuels. After he said that, he took a jet to the COP28 in Dubai, where they produce millions of barrels of oil daily.

— (@)

“We are living through climate collapse in real-time,” Guterres told Cop28 delegates.

“This year has seen communities around the world pounded by fires, floods, and searing temperature – and the impact is devastating,” Guterres said. “Record global heating should send shivers down the spines of world leaders. And it should trigger them to act.”

I highly doubt the above statement coming out of Guterres is even close to being slightly true. But even if it was, he stops short of revealing the fact that deaths from natural disasters have decreased by over 90 percent. In fact, over the last century, we've seen a 98 percent decrease in all climate-related deaths.

That decrease in deaths had nothing to do with “green energy” and everything to do with fossil fuels.

So why are these unelected bureaucrats trying so hard to get rid of something that continues to save so many lives, in so many ways?

With over 70,000 people currently in oil-rich Dubai, you would hope at least one of them has made one accurate climate prediction. But I have yet to hear one prophecy that has actually come to fruition. Have you?

If there is a weather catastrophe that the self-appointed climate prophets have alleged for decades, then fossil fuels would actually protect us.

Look, I am no political scientist. But if you ask me, the last thing we should be doing if we want to save lives from a climate disaster would be to “phaseout” fossil fuels. But again, I did not major in political science.

Joe Biden Has New Scapegoat For High Prices: The Businesses That Have Been Struggling Because Of Joe Biden

11/30/2023

We should call the Democratic Party, the party of psychological projection. Because that is what they do best.

Projection is a psychological mechanism in which a person or group accuses another of doing what the accuser is doing.

Rather than own up to the consequences of his actions, the leader of the free world is doing just that.

On Monday, President Joe Biden said that prices are still “too high” and then pointed the finger, arguing that companies should lower the cost of goods. Yes, he really said that after an 18 percent jump in consumer costs since he took office, according to The New York Post.

— (@)

“We know that prices are still too high for too many things — that times are still too tough for too many families,” he said.

“We’ve made progress, but we have more work to do,” Biden added. “Let me be clear to any corporation that has not brought their prices back down, even as inflation has come down, even supply chains have been rebuilt: It’s time to stop the price gouging and give the American consumer a break.”

Last year, Biden accused oil companies of high gas prices and claimed they were not doing enough to offset soaring costs, telling the seven major refiners their profit margins were “well above normal,” according to the New York Post.

“[A]t a time of war, refinery profit margins well above normal being passed directly onto American families are not acceptable,” Biden wrote in a letter last year to Exxon Mobil CEO Darren Woods.

It was definitely the gas prices that caused the high prices and not canceling drilling leases and limiting domestic production. OR regulations that impose big costs. Nope, it was definitely the greedy oil CEOs.

A recent New York Times poll of six swing states found earlier that 81 percent of voters rate the economy “fair” or “poor” — with 59 percent saying they trusted Trump on economic policy.

Only 37 percent of people in the poll said they trusted Biden on economic policy.

Clearly, the gaslighting is not working so well considering that all voters who will vote in 2024 are alive today and have been alive since at least Biden has been in office.

Of course, Biden also had to blame Republicans for some things.

He claimed that they “want to go back to the bad old days when corporations looked around the world to find the cheapest labor they could find, just to send the jobs overseas and then import the products back to the United States.”

It was just yesterday that we reported that just the fact that you are living is costing you an extra $11,000 a year.

At this point, he would just be better off not saying anything. But at least he was able to get out of bed this morning!

Crime-Ridden Washington DC Spends $270k To (Checks Notes) Repaint BLM Outside White House

11/30/2023

Comments

We all know actions speak louder than words. So when officials spend resources to virtue-signal their support to an anti-police institution, let’s just say it does not take much to see where their priorities are.

The Washington, DC Department of Transportation will repaint the Black Lives Matter slogan on a street in the nation’s capital at a cost of over $270,000 at the taxpayer's expense, Judicial Watch announced.

— (@)

“On June 5, 2020, after days of protests and riots in DC led by the Black Lives Matter movement, a team of artists, residents, District employees, and demonstrators painted ‘Black Lives Matter’ in 50-foot-tall yellow capital letters and the District’s crest, which resembles three stars above an ‘equals’ sign, on 16th Street NW near the White House. The following day, demonstrators painted ‘Defund the Police,’ a key demand of the Black Lives Matter movement, alongside the ‘Black Lives Matter” message,’ according to the press release.

The painting in the slogan occurred one month before D.C.'s City Council sanctioned a $15 million cut in police funding in 2020. The latest statistics from the area show violent crime is up by 40 percent this year compared to the previous year, while homicides have surged by 25 percent.

“DC crime is out of control but local leaders continue to waste $270,000 in tax money promoting the extremist Black Lives Matter movement in the heart of Washington DC that is racist, anti-police, anti-American, and often violent,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton, according to the press release.

The police department has roughly 400 fewer officers than it did three years ago, according to the Washington Examiner. Do you think that painting “Defund the Police” may have had something to do with the officers leaving in droves?

The City Council approved a $526.1 million police budget for 2023, which was nearly $100 million less than the budget in 2020.

Does not seem like officials are getting the picture here.

The City Council has also enacted pro-criminal policies that have caused crime to skyrocket.

Crime is exploding in D.C. but hey, why not spend resources on an organization whose ideology arguably helped enable this whole mess?

How much safer do you think residents will feel now that they are finally painting over that sign? If you ask me, this only proves to the world that DC officials are committed to a culture of lawlessness.

And does it really take $270k to repaint that ugly sign?

Congressman drops the YouTube files details how deep the Biden White House operation went to CENSOR Americans

11/30/2023

Our founders were very smart people. But unfortunately, even they could not fully see how adept the government would become at manipulating the flow of information. They also did not imagine that the media would choose to become a propaganda machine for political parties within the government.

Documents obtained via congressional subpoena show that President Joe Biden’s administration exerted pressure on Google-owned YouTube to suppress vaccine information.

No one is surprised. But you would think that the Constitution would prohibit the government from making that decision. Don’t you think?

“Internal docs from Google (YouTube’s parent company) obtained by @JudiciaryGOP and @Weaponization show that the Biden White House wanted Americans censored,” Rep. Jim Jordan wrote on X.

— (@)

On April 12, 2021, Rob Flaherty—Biden’s Director of Digital Strategy—emailed Google wanting to know how YouTube could better “crackdown on vaccine misinformation” and to discuss “ways the White House can partner in your product work.”

One company employee said “Rob’s questions were very [YouTube] focused” and that the White House “dug in on our decision-making for borderline content” that doesn’t “violate our Community Guidelines.”

Flaherty has since left the administration to help run Biden’s 2024 re-election campaign as a Deputy Campaign Manager, according to Fox News.

"…there is a very high degree of interest now coming from the White House regarding vaccine misinfo/vaccine hesitancy and our work around borderline content," the email from YouTube read.

"Unfortunately, the role of tech in addressing vaccine hesitancy is about to come under a massive spotlight particularly as the supply of the vaccine is soon to outpace demand," the April 2021 correspondence added.

"We were hoping to get something on the books in the next two weeks or so to prevent anything from potentially spiraling out of control," the email stated, according to Fox News.

The release of the documents dubbed the “YouTube Files,” follows a similar set of documents related to Facebook’s content moderation released in July.

In one email, an unnamed Facebook employee said “We are facing continued pressure from external stakeholders, including the White House and the press, to remove more COVID-19 vaccine-discouraging content.”

Free speech and free expression are vital for creativity and innovation. Censorship does the opposite of that, as it essentially demands compliance and conformity with the obstruction of new ideas. It also prevents the flow of knowledge as it destroys the exchange of those ideas.

Eventually, truth becomes "self-evident." But when we see the government working to censor certain claims or ideas, that is not truth. That is power.

I think it is safe to assume that the Government cannot get around the First Amendment by using third parties to do their dirty work because they could not do so directly.

Losers are shaming Morgan Wallen fans for their "racist" Spotify Wrapped lists because apparently we're still doing this

11/30/2023

Comments

'Tis the season for Spotify users to share their "Wrapped" lists of their favorite songs and artists for the year. Also, 'tis the season for others on social media to whine that people are sharing them and complain about artists they don't like that you do. In the case of Morgan Wallen fans, that means crying "RAAAAAAACISM" because I guess we're still doing this.

To recap, in 2021, Wallen was caught on video drunk and using the n-word with friends. It was at a moment when he lost his battle with alcoholism, the video was at the end of a three-day bender. He owned up to it and apologized. He had become persona non-grata in the music industry, but country music fans made him the biggest artist in country music anyway. They were even bumping "Last Night" on Top 40 radio in NYC.

P. Diddy has said enough is enough already: "Morgan [used the N-word] while talking to his boy. People make mistakes. Now we’re moving on..."

Jimmie Allen, a friend of Morgan's, called out the faux outrage noticing most of the people claiming to be offended were mayonnaise looking, and asking if they were so offended, what have they done for the black community other than shame a country singer with a mullet?

But when people start to use words like ‘offended’ – that word ‘offended’ is weird to me because my grandfather told me at a young age when someone says something to someone else not directed at you that doesn’t affect you, the only way you can become offended is if you are so self-absorbed and you make something about you that’s not about you.

For those of you not familiar with country music, Allen is the one on the right.

Yet here we are still two years later.

  • "Shocked but not surprised how many people have no problem with Morgan Wallen being on their Spotify Wrapped despite being racist and profiting off of it." says a Canadian with pronouns in his bio.
  • "Not only is he hella racist, his music is also bad. Y'all have outed yourselves as bigots with bad taste in music." says another specimen who resembles the kind of people Jimmie Allen was calling out.
  • Another person with pronouns in his bio started "a list of the people with morgan wallen on their Spotify wrapped" under the header "Racists."
  • "If you have Morgan Wallen in your Spotify wrapped, where were you on January 6th?" asks someone who has never met a country music fan before.
  • "Y’all have Morgan Wallen on your Spotify wrapped and you’re posting that? you're not embarrassed?" asks someone who not only has pronouns and BLM in his bio but also ACAB. That stands for "All Cops Are Bastards."

People need to get a grip and get over it. And go touch grass. The fresh air would do you good.

But more importantly, I want to know what's on YOUR Spotify Wrapped. Here's mine:

I got a lovely call from Koe Wetzel thanking me. Rounding out the year were Pecos and the Rooftops, Whiskey Meyers, Taking Back Sunday, All Time Low, and two 70s classics that double as gym tunes thanks to AEW.

Comment on Facebook or Twitter with what you were listening to this year!

Irish Authorities Declare Saying Irish Lives Matter A Hate Crime Racist Poison

11/30/2023

Comments

Last week there was a stabbing attack in Dublin outside a school, which left a 5-year-old girl and 30-year-old woman in critical condition. The suspect was an Algerian immigrant who reportedly stabbed three children and two adults in the alleged crime.

Do the victims' lives matter in the situation? If you think they do, then that is racist and a hate crime, according to authorities in Northern Ireland.

Police in Northern Ireland are treating "Irish Lives Matter" graffiti seen in west Belfast as a "hate incident," according to the BBC.

— (@)

Or in other words, a “thought crime.”

— (@)

Thoughtcrime is a term used throughout 1984. It is defined as thoughts that go against the political ideology of those in power.

Thought Police are typically tasked with eliminating thoughtcrime, as well as for the social control of the population. Psychological monitoring allows authorities to punish thought criminals, who challenge political orthodoxy held by those in power.

The outlet reported that the graffiti appeared after signs saying the community "will no longer accept the re-housing of illegal immigrants" were put up in the Suffolk area.

Paul Maskey, a Sinn Féin member of Parliament, called the graffiti an "attempt to create fear and intimidate people."

Gerry Carroll, a member of the Legislative Assembly in West Belfast, said there was no place for this "racist poison."

Inspector Andrew Matson said, "We are treating the matter as a hate incident."

Ireland's government is also pushing an anti-hate speech law in the wake of riots that came in response to the stabbing.

According to Fox News, the legislation is intentionally vague and suggests people could be jailed for having certain memes saved or for being found in possession of books deemed politically offensive.

Nate Hochman, a staff writer for National Review, said the bill represents, "arguably the most radical legislation of its kind we've seen in the West."

— (@)

“It criminalizes the mere possession of materials that are "likely to incite violence or hatred" — books, videos, or even memes on your phone,” Hochman added.

Protected characteristics listed in this proposed legislation include national or ethnic origin, as well as "transgender and a gender other than those of male and female."

It is probably safe to assume that the reason why Irish officials want to criminalize speaking about one's national origin is because they don’t want citizens making the connection that mass immigration increases crime. This is why they want to make it illegal to say that the psycho who went on a stabbing spree in Ireland was Algerian. Otherwise, people might start making the connection that they are not as safe when borders are wide open.

One of the many problems with “hate speech” laws is that it criminalizes the expression of ideas that are not inherently violent.

People can say abhorrent things that may be mean and hurt someone's feelings. But the point of free speech is to protect statements you don’t agree with or you do not like, not the other way around.

In a speech Friday, Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar vowed to "modernize laws against hatred," according to Fox News.

All of this is going on in a so-called “liberal democracy.”

At this point, thoughts cannot be monitored. But what is going on here is the attempt to control language by making it difficult or impossible to say anything that does not conform to the ideology of those in power.

A society is not free if speech is classified as hateful just because some authority figure somewhere does not like it.

You cannot have a free society if citizens are fearful of repercussions from the government by speaking what is on their minds.

By manipulating language, you essentially destroy free thought.

And for the record, Irish Lives Matter.

Watch: Chuck Schumer Scolds Dangerous GOP "Dangerously" Trying To Connect Ukraine Aid To AMERICAN Border Policy

11/29/2023

Comments

As Americans, we should be able to live without fear of crime or invasions across our borders. But our immigration laws are no longer being enforced because of racism, or whatever.

Ironically, it appears that some of the same lawmakers who believe no human is illegal, also believe that a sovereign nation should be able to independently govern free from the threat of external interference.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said he plans to put Biden’s $105 billion supplemental funding request to a vote on the Senate floor next week. But Republicans have implied that they intend to block the spending package unless it includes increased security and asylum reforms at the border. However, Democrats have not surprisingly said they're not interested in changing the status quo.

— (@)

“There are a number of things we have to do at once: deliver aid to Israel, aid to Ukraine, humanitarian assistance to help innocent victims in Gaza, and military capabilities in the Indo-Pacific,” Schumer said at a news conference, according to the Washington Examiner. “All these national security issues are related and should move together … America doesn't have the luxury to pick and choose national security threats that befall us. We must address all of them, all of them, because our adversaries, Russia, China, … Iran … are investing heavily in them too.”

The request includes $61.4 billion for Ukraine, $14.3 billion for Israel, and there's $9 billion earmarked for humanitarian aid in Ukraine, Israel, and Gaza.

The current request only proposes more money to speed up the processing of migrants.

According to Fox News, Schumer deflected blame and said "A handful of Republicans have dangerously tried to link Ukraine aid" to border security. “You can know one thing for sure: That it’s the Republicans holding this up by their insistence on an extraneous and partisan issue that there’s always difficulty in coming to an agreement on.”

Let me get this straight. We need to give Ukraine $61.4 billion so they can protect its border. But is it “dangerous” if we protect our border?

The double standards and lack of self-awareness are infuriating.

The situation at the border has gotten so bad that on Monday, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) suspended vehicle processing operations at Eagle Pass International Bridge 1 in Texas, and reduced vehicle processing in Lukeville, Arizona.

“The U.S. is continuing to see increased levels of migrant encounters at the Southwest Border,” a statement from CBP read. “In response to this influx in encounters, we will continue to surge all available resources to expeditiously and safely process migrants.”

Basically, legal border crossings were temporarily suspended in an effort to service illegals instead. This spending package fails nothing to secure the border and the alien invasion wreaks havoc on our nation’s communities. Before we start spending billions of dollars to secure other nation's borders, can we at the very least, enforce immigration laws first?

That might be too much to ask as we wouldn't want to do anything "dangerouse."

Justin Trudeau Signs Partnership With EU To Promote Digital IDs... In The Name Of Countering Disinformation

11/29/2023

Comments

Canada has officially committed to digital despotism.

Not too long ago, Trudeau made the decision to freeze the bank accounts of truckers linked to protests he did not like. He did that without a court order or any attempt to include due process. He claimed that it was “about keeping Canadians safe.”

Now, if Trudeau has the power to take people's civil liberties and private funds away with the flip of a switch, what do you think he will do if there is a digital identification system? What will happen if someone says or does something Trudeau does not like?

Well, it looks like we will soon find out.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has announced a digital agreement with the European Union to implement a digital identification system in an effort to counter online “disinformation.”

— (@)

In other words, the Canadian government has signed a deal with unelected bureaucrats to begin rolling out a new global “digital ID” system in order to control the flow of information.

“When Canada and Europe work together, we create good, middle-class jobs, we grow strong economies, and we make progress in the fight against climate change,” Trudeau stated in a statement from his office.

Of course, we had to throw some “climate change” in the policy agreement.

“Both sides support a positive, inclusive, and human-centric vision of the digital economy and society where the design, development, governance, and use of technology are guided by democratic values and respect for fundamental rights, and consider that both sides' joint efforts and their synergies with other like-minded partners can contribute to implementing this vision,” according to the policy agreement.

But did anyone even vote on this? How can you support democratic values without anyone voting?

“Both sides intend to cooperate on and exchange best practice approaches in Earth System Modelling initiatives, for improving their capabilities to fight and adapt to climate change and extreme weather events, and support the development of smart agriculture and smart cities,” it read.

Under the agreement, both entities will “work jointly in building on respective bilateral and multilateral cooperation fora such as the G7, G20, OECD, UN and WTO.”

The Group of 20 leaders recently agreed to a plan to eventually impose digital currencies and IDs on their respective populations.

"Digital IDs could further financial inclusion," said in a document of official policy recommendations, "especially in low- and middle-income countries, where insufficient documentation is often a barrier to account ownership."

China's social credit system punishes people if the Communist Party deems them untrustworthy. Trudeau did say he envied them.

"There's a level of admiration I actually have for China. Their basic dictatorship is actually allowing them to turn their economy around on a dime," Trudeau once said.

Do we really have to betray the privacy of Canadians in order to combat disinformation regarding Climate Change?

Americans Need Over $11000 More Under Joe Bidem Just To Afford Bare Minimum To Survive: Report

11/29/2023

Comments

I have good and bad news for you. The good news is that you saved $3 this Thanksgiving compared to last year. The bad news is that you are still short about $11,401 from last year.

Biden’s economy is so bad that the White House has to analyze and cherry-pick millions of data sets just to claim that your Thanksgiving dinner cost several dollars less this year. But because math is racist, the left does not know how to do basic equations.

This is Biden's math for you: Increase prices by 200 percent and lower them by 3 percent. This is what they consider “cheaper”.

CBS ran an article claiming that the average American household must spend an additional $11,434 annually just to maintain the same standard of living they enjoyed in Jan. of 2021, according to a recent analysis of government data.

— (@)

Since Sleepy Joe took office, inflation has increased 17.6 percent. Grocery prices have increased by 21 percent. Prices for meats, poultry, fish, and eggs have increased 21 percent. Gasoline prices have increased by 55 percent. And airline fares have increased by 27.2 percent.

Those are all according to the Bureau of Labor. But the Bureau of Labor did not have to tell you all that. I did not have to tell you all that. Because you are living all that.

But I guess who cares that gas prices are climbing towards a 60 percent increase when frozen peas were down by 1.1 percent on this most recent Thanksgiving, right?

“You know, from turkey, to air travel, to a tank of gas, costs went down. They went down…. In fact, as a share of earnings, this Thanksgiving dinner was the fourth cheapest ever on record. And I want you all to know that,” Biden said on Monday.

All I want for Christmas is for Trump’s economy to come back. But that is not happening anytime soon. Maybe never because the Chinese have the sniffles again and you know how it all goes down from here…

"Middle- and low-income Americans aren't doing well enough — they are living fragilely on the edge," said Gene Ludwig, chairman of the Ludwig Institute for Shared Economic Prosperity (LISEP)," according to CBS.

It is honestly a slap in the face to try and gaslight Americans into thinking the economy is doing great. And that inflation is gone and will never be seen again.

What is built? What is back? And what is better?

Americans know exactly who is to blame for soaring inflation and it is not the man who donated his salary. It is the one that donated yours.

But hey, at least we have no more mean Tweets.
