Under Armour’s yearly spring recruiting camp circuit is in full swing, and the influence from Brent Venables staff in Norman was felt all the way in Atlanta a couple of weekends ago! At the Sports Illustrated All-American camp, the Sooners kept coming up to canvas some of the top defensive recruits in the region and had to get the Sooner name in front if them before making their college decision!! The biggest name in Atlanta, Oklahoma hopes to attract was defensive lineman Lebbeus Overton, who recently reclassified from a 2023 recruit into the 2022 class!! Oklahoma has also offered his brother, Maiciah Overton from Liberty, who just entered the Transfer Portal a scholarship!!
