A report from City Journal indicates that 63% of the homeless population in the city of Los Angeles comes from outside the city, over half are from outside the county, 40% are from outside California, and 6% are foreign nationals. If you are surprised by this, you have likely been fooled by the homeless industrial complex.

You see, the left likes to play it off like a lack of housing is why zombies do drugs on the street. The problem with that claim is that it is a lie. The situation has a lot to do with drug addiction and nearly nothing to do with falling on hard times.

Los Angeles hosts the nation’s largest unsheltered homeless population. In recent years, despite billions in city and county spending, L.A.’s once-pristine streets have become littered with tents, drugs, and feces. City leaders have made elaborate promises about managing the homeless problem, but few seem to have asked a simple question: Where, exactly, are these people coming from?

There is a reason for that. In 2020, the city-county Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority (LAHSA) found that one-third of “unsheltered Angelenos” became homeless outside of Los Angeles County. In 2024, the nonprofit RAND Corporation reported that 41 percent of the street homeless surveyed across three Los Angeles
neighborhoods—Hollywood, Venice, and Skid Row—were “last housed” somewhere other than L.A. County.
Both reports cut against the narrative of left-wing politicians and activists, who insist that any claim that out-of-town homeless are flooding L.A. is a “myth.” In 2021, LAHSA stopped publishing previous-location data. In 2025, RAND removed the metric from the organization’s annual report and included it in a separate, lesser-read “annex.”

It turns out this “myth” is a result of officials making it ridiculously easy to be “unhoused” in the city. These zombies flood the streets of Los Angeles because of its softness towards crime prosecutions and because the city affords these people housing benefits, drug paraphernalia, and leniency towards public camping. This is because the city finds it compassionate to allow these “unhoused” individuals to live out their debauchery on the street, rather than uphold public health and safety. The fact that voters fail to realize this is a problem largely created by officials is astonishing. Not only that, but they continue to elect the same people to fix said problem, despite them being the ones who started this whole mess. It truly is the perfect representation of insanity.

If voters re-elect Karen Bass as mayor, we can, sadly, expect more of the same.

On Monday, Speaker Mike Johnson spoke at Rededicate 250 about God’s providence over the past 250 years and “sought His blessing for the next 250.” This should not be controversial, especially considering anyone with a fraction of a brain should understand America was the first country founded on the idea that rights are inalienable. In fact, you only need to have read the Declaration of Independence once to understand this very simple, yet crucial concept. MSNBC, however, is confused, despite how clearly it is spelled out.

According to the Declaration of Independence, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.” It is unclear how much clearer we have to be for MSNBC, but Katy Tur is flabbergasted as to how Johnson could believe rights do not derive from government and that they come from God. And the fact that she is shocked by this tells you how naive the people on MSNBC truly are.

Tur asked McKay Coppins if this means Johnson is putting God over the Declaration of Independence, as if that is some novel concept. Coppins cleared things up, as this is quite literally what it spelled out in our founding documents.

According to Coppins, “we have innate human rights that our constitution and our government, our democratic government, are meant to codify. That idea is not totally abnormal.” Not only is it not abnormal, but it is the premise on which this country was founded. Is Tur really that stupid?

What is even more shocking is not that she has not read the Declaration of Independence. This is unsurprising because naivety and arrogance are common traits of the left. The problem, however, is that she believes government comes before God. That is deranged, evil, and the antithesis of the founding of this country. The fact that she has a platform while failing to understand the most basic concept of our founding documents is a scandal in itself. Sadly, though, none of this is surprising, considering we are talking about MSNBC. So, what else is new?

The Late Show with Stephen Colbert ends on Thursday. Today’s show features a tribute to all his best moments.

“The canceling of the show, despite people trying to blame Donald Trump, is a financial decision. It turns out that when you lose a network worth tens of millions of dollars, and you are unwilling to sacrifice your exorbitant salary and budget, and you have to compete with people who are kicking your ass online with a fraction of those resources, it's not financially sound,” Crowder said.

According to CBS, May 21 will be the last episode of The Late Show.

CBS will end "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" and retire "The Late Show" franchise in May 2026, the company announced Thursday, calling it "purely a financial decision against a challenging backdrop in late night."

CBS called Colbert irreplaceable and said the show's ending was "not related in any way to the show's performance, content or other matters happening at Paramount," CBS' parent company.

"We are proud that Stephen called CBS home," the network said in a statement. "He and the broadcast will be remembered in the pantheon of greats that graced late night television."

Comics Unleashed will replace the show’s spot.

“I recognize there are plenty of people on the left who are funny. John Stewart is very funny. Kathleen Madigan is one of the only female comedians out there who is a genuinely good writer and is funny. John Oliver has some funny bits that we have talked about on the show. Bill Maher has never been in my opinion, and neither has Colbert,” Crowder said. “He was incapable of being funny. He was precluded from being funny because of whom he was beholden to.”

According to Crowder, once Colbert started being himself, the show became objectively unwatchable.

“I do mean that objectively because you can see the numbers,” Crowder said.

One of his worst moments was when he broadcast from home and promoted pro-lockdown policies during COVID.

Another low point was convincing the public that Biden was not experiencing mental decline.

And if all that was not bad enough, his worst moment was when he advocated for Americans to get the vaccine, with a recurring segment of him dancing to showtunes.

“You have to accept he is either a coward who believed all of it, or he was in on the propaganda because he was doing the bidding of the government,” Crowder said. “Either way, you lose the ability to claim you are a rebel.”

Gather around and take a knee. Because an old white dude is telling the young generation to stop being stupid with the money they have. And oy vey, is the young generation upset by it. This 2025 clip of Kevin O'Leary on "The Diary of a CEO" podcast with Steven Bartlett is making its way around Cousin Elon's internet again.

I'm sure Mr. Wonderful and O'Leary had a delightful conversation full of excellent advice. But this is the clip the foreign X-Twitter account posted to get that sweet and lazy engagement cash.

"Can't stand it when I see kids who are making $70,000 a year spending $28 for lunch. That's just stupid. Think about that in the context of being put into an index fund."

Set aside that O'Leary is a horrible spokesman for data centers. And that if you only save that $28 for one day a week, that's close to $1500 you can invest. And let's even set aside that "$28" is a random number O'Leary threw out there to describe the dumb things people spend money on, and he could have easily just said if they saved on DoorDash charges.

I'm not denying that families are facing struggles. And it would be nice if the president were more focused on those struggles than on ballrooms and who Lauren Boebert endorses. Multiple things can be true, and that, also, dumb financial decisions don't also play a part in it. Symphatize with families, sure. Those aren't the people upset with being told they should eat out less.

It's like when Democrat staffers want to make a point of how hard it is to afford food, and will post a picture of a slice of Gouda on a croissant. It costs $15 dollars for a burrito at Chipotle? It costs $9 for a pound of chicken breast, and pre-made tossed salad in a bag costs 2 for $7. $16 and I have lunch for the entire week.

UFC 250 at the White House is next month, and you can expect some grade-A journalisming in the build-up. Every fighter on the card is going to be asked to speak out against Trump and/or issues they've never thought about -- because they've been in fight camps for the past three months -- so that everyone else can be baited into reacting. They won't be as media-trained as Dana White, who handled this silly question from NPR perfectly.

Steve Inskeep offered your typical radical left (aka "moderate" democrat) premise of common sense illegal immigration reform. If you believe in borders and enforcing laws, it's because you hate brown people. Ignoring all the brown people who also believe in borders and enforcing laws. Or those who work in immigration enforcement. The left isn't good at details or intellectual honesty.

Isn't it hypocritical for Dana White to be friends with Donald Trump while he employs fighters that, quote, Trump "wants out of the country?"

Setting aside things like work visas depending on which fighters Inskeep thinks he's talking about. And, let's also set aside that many of the fighters themselves, the ones Inskeep is making implications about, don't mind Trump all that much. And, while we're at it, let's also set aside that the question is retarded.

No, it's not hypocritical of Dana White at all.

That's not necessarily true. What the president wants -- what everybody has talked about, including the Democrats back in the day -- you have to get documented the right way. There's a lot of people waiting in line to get green cards in this country. The borders have been open for the last 4 years, and lots of criminals came in here, lots of bad people. They got them out first. I don't think the president has ever said he doesn't want people from other countries coming here. If you do it the wrong way, yes.

We'll see how the first press conference goes once we get down to fight week. If you set up a drinking game and did a shot every time one of the fighters gets an actual question on MMA or their fight, you'd be sober enough to drive home.

The reason the media has become largely irrelevant is that they have become a leftist echo chamber intended to get the public to believe whatever cause the left is fighting, which is extremely lacking. According to the New York Post:

A trio of bloodthirsty fans of accused assassin Luigi Mangione — who were granted press passes by City Hall — spouted vile hate and unapologetic calls for political violence from a Manhattan courthouse steps Monday.

This, not being satire, is astonishing and deeply deranged. And the fact that many leftists go around calling for political violence and not fear accountability is asinine.

Mangione fangirls Abril Rios, Ashley Rojas and Lena Weissbrot proudly showed off the passes they received for their respective Substacks documenting Mangione’s upcoming trial for the murder of United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson.

The craziest part is that they believe they are on the right side of history.

But the “reporters” made no bones about supporting Mangione’s alleged vendetta to strike fear into the hearts of healthcare executives such as Thompson.

“F—k Brian Thompson,” Rojas said. “That’s all I want to say. F—k Brian Thompson. F—k his mom.”

“His children are better off without him,” she said. “They need to learn to not be like their dad. And enjoy the blood money, kids. “He’s responsible for more deaths than Osama bin Laden, and I remember Americans celebrating when Osama bin Laden was killed. It’s not like we don’t understand heroic violence, or, like, when violence is good.”

The scary thing about what these people said is that they are so delusional that they believe it. They believe this man's death was for the greater good and that his children are better off without him. It is a level of evil that has no place in a civil society. The problem with the left, however, is that they are not civil. They openly call for violence against people they disagree with and believe that makes them morally superior. It truly is insane, to say the very least.

According to every single law in existence in this country, Black voting rights are not, in fact, in jeopardy. This should be common sense, as there is no evidence to suggest otherwise. The problem with sense is that it is not so common among the left. This is why officials rely on voters' ignorance to paint it as if Black people are about to lose their right to vote any second. Again, this is what you would call a “lie.”

Anyone who believes this has been deeply misled by leftist propaganda. And because it is wrong for the government to intentionally lie to the people in a pathetic, attempted power grab, one Chicago resident said what needed to be said.

The woman also called out the commissioners one by one to their faces.

Jessica Jackson, a 63-year-old Black Chicago resident, said what everyone already knows to be true, which is that Black people have had the right to vote for a very long time. Anyone who claims otherwise is, again, lying. This should not be controversial, because there is no evidence to support such claims.

Speaking to Commissioners Tara Stamps and Kisha McCaskill, she has “never had a problem voting.” She added that it is wrong to have senior citizens “come up here and talk about how they're scared to vote” because it is “junk,” as they “know it is not true."

Again, Jackson said what needed to be said. It is disingenuous for the left to claim voting rights are under attack. When you intentionally deceive the public, so much so that you claim skin color will soon dictate your rights, that is tyrannical. It is a lie so insane you wonder how some voters actually buy this crap. Fortunately, though, most people have an IQ higher than a goldfish. The left can lie all they want, but reality proves what everyone knows to be true.

To call this a threat to Democracy would be an understatement.
