It's been a long time since I went to go see a movie in theaters. It's difficult to get excited about anything coming out lately because it's all virtue signaling dreck without good storytelling or soul. But it would seem this isn't the case with the new Top Gun sequel.

No. Top Gun: Maverick is allegedly so pro-American, so patriotic, and so badass that it scared away a group of communist investors. The mere sight of real red, white, and blue was enough to send the pinko bastards running for the hills and crying to Xi Jinping.

It is astonishing how many men who claim to be women--"transgenders," the left likes to call them--turn out to be violent rapists of ACTUAL women. And while the left attempts to square that circle (how a "woman" with a penis manages to rape an actual woman with a vagina), most of them probably wouldn't put the feelings of the rapist over the testimony of the rape victim. Unless, of course, it's the BBC. Then they have to take special care not to "misgender" the rapist.

This is exactly what happened when the BBC revised the quotations included in a 2021 story about an allegedly transgender "woman" who forced himself on lesbian women.

As reported by the Daily Caller, the quote now reads:

“[They] threatened to out me as a terf and risk my job if I refused to sleep with [them],” the purportedly altered victim quote read. “I was too young to argue and had been brainwashed by queer theory so [they were] a ‘woman’ even if every fibre of my being was screaming throughout so I agreed to go home with [them]. [They] used physical force when I changed my mind upon seeing [their] penis and raped me.”

Those theys and thems were originally male pronouns, "but the woke bros at the news website wanted to make them female because of misgendering."

As an English major, it already makes me want to vomit the way the woketards butcher the English language, but the fact that they did so while changing the testimony of a rape victim telling her story in order to spare the f*cking feelings of a violent rapist is enough to make anyone see red.

The BBC didn't respond to the Caller, but then what exactly could they say to defend such idiocy?

I usually have more fun mocking David Hogg, but this is exhausting. We've been finding out all weekend about the incompetent response of the Uvalde police and how they stood outside and did nothing--whether they were following orders or not--while some parents ran into the school themselves. Hogg says don't blame the police for (allegedly) being cowards. Blame the gun the armed police officers were all afraid of.

"When the trained good guys with guns aren't brave enough to face a bad guy with an AR-15 like they weren’t in Texas or Parkland the problem is the damn AR-15. There were over a dozen good guys in Texas with guns NONE of them did anything."

When you stand around doing nothing while kids are being killed, and it's literally your job to do something while kids are being killed, you are not a good guy regardless of if you're packing or not. The border patrol agent who borrowed a shotgun and ran into the school while police were doing nothing? THAT's the good guy with a gun.

Gun control zealots like Hogg are fond of saying you don't need a gun to defend yourself because the police have them. When there is a nationwide example of parents not being able to rely on the police to use their guns, that's not an argument to make it harder for law-abiding citizens to get guns. It's a red flag for why citizens need an extra gun to defend their families and themselves.

Calling the Uvalde police "good guys with guns" and thinking you debunked the concept of "good guy with a gun" is not going to work out the way the David Hogg's of the world think.

I don't know what causes any adult to be attracted to a minor student, and perhaps that's something better-left unknown, but in the past few years, this seems to have become quite the issue. Just this year, nearly 150 teachers and administrators have been arrested for engaging in illicit behaviors with minors and the list only seems to be growing with each passing day. Case and point, this middle school teacher will have to have her name put on the list.

According to KFOR, Ivy Reneau, a 28-year-old now-former middle school teacher, has had a warrant issued for her arrest after she decided to send messages, including images and videos, to a 16-year-old student within her district.

KFOR reports that Reneau--who also serves as an assistant soccer coach--decided to add the student, who she met at soccer practice, on Snapchat after she had "heard rumors that he liked her." She then allegedly sent him three to four naked pictures and an "inappropriate" video. Reneau allegedly admitted to a detective that she sent the pictures but denied ever engaging in a physical relationship with the student--they only "talked about hanging out."

The school had immediately sent out a statement when the allegations were first reported a week ago, saying:

“District officials were notified of an alleged relationship between a Mid-Del staff member and a student. We reported the information to law enforcement so that they could begin an investigation. The staff member is no longer employed by Mid-Del Schools, and we have worked closely with the family of the student in the wake of this accusation. We will continue to fully cooperate with the authorities.”

Reneau is charged with Using Technology to Engage in Communication for Sexual or Prurient Interest with a Minor.

Public schools do not exist to educate students. Even they say this. They exist to make kids into drag queens, confuse them about their gender, and gather up children in a centralized location for pedophiles to prey on them. And for further proof that the schools don't exist to educate students, take a look at these extremely racist changes to the grading system taking place at Oak Park and River Forest (OPRF) High Schools in Chicago.

According to West Cooks News, administrators discussed the changes at a May 26 meeting of the school board. The assistant superintendent presented the changes.

"Traditional grading practices perpetuate inequities and intensify the opportunity gap," reads a slide in the presentation.

How do the grading practices do this? Well, apparently, marking students absent, docking their grades for misbehavior, or even giving zeroes for assignments not turned in are all examples of racist traditional grading... One must then ask why it is such general practices often affect minority students--but the notion that their own behavior may be to blame is obviously not something leftist school administrators want to contend with. It's easier to just change the system to pass these kids along.

The failure rates among these students are quite astonishing. Per West Cook News, "The OPRF failure rate was 77 percent for black students, 49 percent for Hispanics, 27 percent for Asians and 25 percent for whites."

So, instead of acknowledging their own complete and epic failure to educate students, the schools are deciding to change the grading system to an "equity-based" one to allow more students who shouldn't be passing to pass... It sounds like a perfect plan (except when it comes to these kids leaving high school and going out into the world).

The associate director of the Education Advisory Board Margaret Sullivan says, "Teachers may unintentionally let non-academic factors—like student behavior or whether a student showed up to virtual class—interfere with their final evaluation of students."

Yes, because a disruptive student always knows all the material, and failure to turn in one's work is illustrative of a student who understands everything they were taught.

This sounds like another effort to minimize the failure of the schools while sticking to the inane tenets of the diversity, inclusion, and equity wing of the Critical Race Theory movement. None of it seeks to actually help students, but that isn't even on the list of concerns for the left.

I'm not an art guy. Museums bore the bejesus out of me. But I would like to think I'd have some respect for the Mona Lisa, arguably one of the most famous paintings of all time. One crazy person did not show Ms. Lisa the respect she deserves, in this attack caught on someone's smartphone. Let's go through the plan. Some dude woke up in the morning and decided he really hated the Mona Lisa. He looked around his flat and saw a wheelchair, some birthday cake, and a wig from when he dressed up as one of the Spice Girls. "Hey, that's what I'll do!" he thought. "I'll pretend to be confined to a wheelchair so I can get up close, and when I get to the front, I'll smear cake on the Mona Lisa's smug, judgmental face. And dressing like a woman? It just feels right."

The only lingering question is why one man could be so angry at a painting that he'd go through the trouble of such performative outrage. It's as if maybe, just maybe, our assailant could have another motive. An ideology or political stance if you will...

NCAA champion swimmer Lia Thomas broke her silence over her controversial victory on Good Morning America. The controversy stems from Thomas, who was born a biological boy and competed as a biological boy, was now competing against biological girls.

She went from being ranked #462 as a male swimmer to #1 as a female swimmer. One side of the argument points to science and biology, and that after being born a male and going through puberty as a male, it gives an unfair physical advantage to girls who were born girls and didn't go through puberty as boys. The other side of the argument calls the first side transphobic.

That includes Lia, who told GMA, "You can't go halfway and be like 'I support trans people but only to a certain point.'" She also said "competing with men, I was miserable" when she ranked #462.

Coincidentally, this interview comes a few days after a New York Times article where medical professionals said Thomas DOES have an unfair advantage. Michael J. Joyner, a doctor from the Mayo Clinic, stated "There are social aspects to sport, but physiology and biology underpin it. Testosterone is the 800-pound gorilla." Theoretically, Lia would have a lot more testosterone after puberty. More so than a biological female who did not go through puberty as a male.

Joyner went further on GMA, saying, "'Body size, hand size, foot size, bone density [are all factors] but the main thing is the interactions of exercise training and muscle. I think that evidence so far would suggest a period of a year, two, three or even four years [of hormone therapy] is insufficient."

Thomas admits to not being a medical professional but disagreed with the medical professionals anyway: "'I'm not a medical expert but there's a lot of variation among cis female athletes. There are cis women who are tall muscular and have more testosterone. Should that also disqualify them?"

The "tall" part could have been a dig at Martina Navatralova, who was quoted in the NYT article. Navatralova is a champion glass ceiling-shattering lesbian tennis star, who is now a TERF (trans-exclusionary radical feminist) for speaking out against biological men competing against biological women. Navatralova told NYT, “So I’m a ‘TERF’ — OK, that’s the way you want to go?” I played against taller women, I played against stronger women, and I beat them all. But if I faced the male equivalent of Lia in tennis, that’s biology. I would have had no shot. And I would have been livid.”

Thomas says she hopes to compete in the Olympics. In the meantime, she is happy living her best life.
