If there's one person who needs to be sounding off about the Kid's Mullet Championship, it needs to be Joe Dirt. He originally took to Twitter to voice his overall approval.
That wasn't enough, though. That being said, I'm a little disappointed David Spade didn't get into full character when he decided to get on TikTok to give his expert opinion on the finalists in the competition this year. Maybe he can make it up to us next year.
"Rustin, this cute little goat roper. [...] pretty studly."
"Landry, flag carved in, I don't know if that's legal."
"Billy do! This tank. He means biz, dude. He's hittin' dingers."
"Epic [...] Hawaii shirt, don't know if I'd go with that."
Spade ended his short review saying that the kids were "all winners to me, though, man."
I half expect Mr. Dirt to break into an entire diatribe about fireworks at some point, but maybe he's saving that for when the competition announces the winner on Sunday, August 21. Regardless, it's pretty cool, and I'm sure the kids--who, c'mon, must know who Joe Dirt is, right?--I'm sure they appreciate the shoutout from the guy who must be their idol, right beside Mater from Cars.
If you didn't take a moment to vote for one of these little dudes, you missed your chance because voting closed yesterday. You'll just have to wait until next year to cast a vote for a new crop of mullet-sporting bada**es.
On a related note, your children have an entire year to get their mullets going. Just saying.
