Poor David Hogg. I'm sure he pines for the bygone era of Twitter. One when he could repeat whatever ridiculous talking point he thought of in his brain and have it go unchallenged. If anything, he would trend for it. Because the people who decided what was allowed to trend agreed with his ridiculousness.
The Hoggfather's (even though he promises never to have kids) latest thinkderp has to do with the Second Amendment and militias. Because THAT'S not one we've ever heard before. "You have no right to a gun. You are not a militia. When you’re talking about your second amendment rights you’re talking about a states right to have what is today the national guard. The modern interpretation of 2A is a ridiculous fraud pushed for decades by the gun lobby."

Twitter users felt this context was necessary: "In the ruling for District of Columbia v. Heller, the court said that the right to bear arms was unconnected to service in a militia."
They even provided their sources by linking to the case which says, "Private citizens have the right under the Second Amendment to possess an ordinary type of weapon and use it for lawful, historically established situations such as self-defense in a home, even when there is no relationship to a local militia."
Having a level playing field is fun. Not so much for Davey boy. But it is for the rest of us tired of seeing how quick leftist disinformation is allowed to spread unfettered.
