There is no denying that the further left society moves, the more destruction it causes. In fact, only progressives can take the richest city in the country and turn it into conditions that the third world couldn't even dream of.
Basically, everything the left touches it ruins.
According to owner Mark Sackett, his event venue, which is also a printmaker and antique shop, will be auctioned off next year because he can't get a mortgage refinance due to the state of San Francisco.

“[San Francisco city officials] don’t even return my calls,” Sackett said, according to the Washington Examiner. “They care about bike lanes, nonprofits, safe injection sites. … They have just ignored small business . . . I’m just done with San Francisco and the bullsh** here. It’s out of control.”
Sackett purchased the building for over $1.5 million in 2004 but has an existing $2.5 million mortgage. According to the Washington Examiner, nearly 30 lenders have refused a mortgage refinance. Subsequently, this implies a massive loss for his business, BoxSF.
Sackett said it cost him $4,000 to replace a broken window and needles and feces are constantly spread around his building.
"I’m just done with San Francisco and the bulls**t here," Sackett said. "It’s out of control."
He also said that officials have come after him for zoning laws, despite problems with sewage overflow that caused $85,000 in damage to his property.
On top of that, he’s battling to comply with the ADA.
"I can put a tent in front of someone’s front door and sleep … but the city comes after me for ADA compliance," he said.
I am not surprised. It is not uncommon these days when we see progressives punishing law-abiding citizens who contribute to society while turning a blind eye to the chaos they have created. Why prosecute prostitution, public camping, and other crimes when you can go after someone trying to make an honest living?
That is what we call "progressive priorities."
According to the outlet, in Aug. Google and Australian developer Lendlease paused a San Francisco-based project called Hayes Point, which was a "47-story mixed-use, live-work-play project," and was initially scheduled to be finished in 2027. Lendlease also paused the San Francisco Bay Project, which was meant to create 15,000 new units.
It is pretty ironic that progressives claim that through “permanent supportive housing” we can finally solve the zombie apocalypse taking over but that they can't even build housing because of the apocalypse they created. Not that housing will fix much of anything.
The only thing progressives succeed at is destruction. In fact, they do it so well you would think it is by design. But at the very least, we should never underestimate the dangers that come from the left.
