X is giving it to San Francisco, and the people are NOT happy about it. In a city overrun by crime, drugs, homeless, public urination, public deification, and Nancy Pelosi, the elected officials in charge are focused on what truly matters. It's the giant X Elon Musk installed on top of the old Twitter building. Twitter is dead. We all drop X now.

We shouldn't be laughing at the first world's problem of it all. It's not nice to revel in other people's misery, no matter how big of an insufferable progressive douchelord they are. But then again, I never claimed to be a good person.
I also can not confirm that it's only insufferable progressive douchelords complaining about the giant X. But they live in San Francisco. Call it a hunch.

The problem with the X is that Musk didn't get the appropriate paperwork handed in. Replacing letters, signs, or symbols on buildings requires a permit. You know, to be consistent “with the historic nature of the building.” It is not the first time Elon has run afoul of city ordinances. Last December the city investigated Twitter over reports the company has converted empty office space into sleeping quarters. Elon's response was "Fentanyl says what?"
San Franciscans have been angry at Elon Musk ever since he purchased Twitter. They don't play an unaffordable amount to live in a studio and risk getting assaulted or peed on every time they walk to Jamba Juice just so someone with a different opinion than them can move it across the street. That isn't what San Francisco is about. They haven't spent decades reelecting the same progressive leaders just so an African-American businessman can show up and put a giant X up on a roof and make the unverified claim that free speech is a good thing.
Elon should consider moving the company. It wouldn't be the first time San Francisco has overregulated a company out of the city. And Musk has already been driven out of the state due to California's unfriendly business climate and socialist agenda. We'll see if the harassment causes Elon to drop X in Texas like he did his other companies.
